Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988)
Remember the remake to this one?
They did a female remake of this one. Anybody remember it? Of course not, because it stunk so much nobody remembers it. I I just finished watching this one (Caine - Martin) for the umpteenth time and it's still funny! As mentioned somewhere else in here, it was when comedy movies were actually funny and not just retreads of other non-funny vulgar losers; American Pie? Give me a break! Mick Jagger and David Bowie, both later regretted dropping out of it.
Even though this movie is a remake of a movie called Bedtime Story (1964), with a similar plot, now I'm interested in watching Bedtime Story, just based on how good this was!
Godfather of Harlem: Chickens Come Home to Roost (2019)
Goof on a goof
Pointing out when Funny Girl was released exposes the idiocy of the reviewer.
JFK was killed in 1963, not 1962. This is what happens when history isn't taught in schools anymore. If it wasn't so pathetic, it would be funny. Even if you weren't born back then, November 22, 1963 is one of those indelible infamous dates in history. You can easily Google it!
Let's face it. Hollywood has played fast and loose with history for ages, and this series is no exception. At least the episode got the year right.
Gigante,in real life, attempted to kill Frank Costello (played by Paul Sorvino) in1957, so it would be strange to have those 2 guys in the same room together just a short 6 years later.
