The Zone of Interest (2023)

Very Good But

The movie itself is very well told. I see what the director was going for and he succeeded. Sort of like The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. You don't necessarily see any violence...you hear some but rarely see it. Its more ot a mind movie. That being said I do wish there was more back and forth between his "Nazi" life and his home life. Ie... if it showed him being a monster over at the camp all day or whenever and then coming home after and transitioning from that into a loving father and husband. He seemed like a quiet guy so he probably gets very angry and would let it all out on those poor people.

Just cast gwineth paltrow and this movie has every actor that i absolutely cannot stand. How did they manage to get this many annoying people in one movie. Mark wallberg doesn't bother me, every one else does.

I read all the positive reviews and gave it a shot....lasted 15-20 minutes. Don't waste your time with this one like i did. It's about as good as jason takes manhattan. Annoying characters to boot.

What's up with the lighting?? Didn't they pay their electric bill? Every scene, even the ones outdoors, are extremely dark. As in not bright. The scenes inside, forget it. I had to check my tv settings a few times to see if it wasn't that. It wasn't unfortunately. I can hear people talking.

The Rental (2020)

Hard to follow, seen it all before, mystery thriller...oooh....ahhh. Doesn't make a lot of sense either. I was rooting for the underdog too, as i see it reads as Dave Franco's directorial debut.

I got into this show the season they went live. And sadly it was the last season as well. I just wish they gave it a chance. Sure it was shaky but it was early on too. I could tell it would've been a hit show for sure.

I watched the trailer and thought oh nice! And it was decent up until the part from the trailer. Then it's all downhill from there. I don't blame the actors. If i did have to blame, i'd put it on special effects dept. And the writers. I give the 1st half 7 stars and the 2nd half i give 3 stars.

If you're into both homoeroticism and animal cruelty then boy is this for you!! Other than that nothing happens in this piece. Yeah the cinematography is nice, but that's hard to f up in new zealand. Its super boring and there is no story, no character build up, nothing.

This movie didn't remind me of the saw series at all. All i saw was chris rock and the pulp fiction guy. The story goes nowhere. I still don't know what the overall plot was. The worst part is jigsaws "new" voice. What an abomination!!! Sounds like a nervous girl reading word for word her 7th grade speech.

I'm probably one of the few but i saw this bad boy in the theater. 3-D glasses and all. I went with my cousin, we were 12. My father drove us and picked us up. As far as the movie goes it was pretty bad. Typical of the era though.

Man has this show gone downhill over the years. I used to binge watch every season over and over. Now it's completely and totally unbearable to watch. It's disgusting what they did to this show. "let's hire an asian head writer!!! Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket" . Because asian people are so cool and can write cool walking dead scripts. Give me a break. Its basically a soap opera with zombies as a back drop. I don't want a love story, i want the walking dead. Too late now. I had to change my 9 star rating to 6, only because of the first few seasons. Up to where negan showed up. That's when the show started going DOWN HILL.

I see a lot of 10 star ratings for this episode. FALSE!!! They are fake. They are out there by the producers of the show. If you read them it's clear. Too much info. This episode (& the show itself lately) is an abomination of what it once was. When they got new writers, etc for the show i knew it would go downhill. And it has. It's why andrew and others have left. They knew too. No offense to female asians but they should not be writing for a show like this. No way no how.

This was definitely one of the better episodes from this series. i'm a fan of the single story episodes vs. the double story ones. this was a one story episode that pulls you in the whole time. 2 thumbs up

The plot of this movie is as far fetched as it gets. most movie plots would most likely never happen in real life. this movie's plot would never happen in a billion years. of course anytime ana de armas wants to knock on my door she need not hesitate. she is welcome anytime. the acting isnt bad at all. i just couldn't get into the story is all.

The beginning of the movie isnt bad, (the first 20 minutes or so) but then nothing happens after that as far as story telling goes. just nonsense scenes and ridiculous "license pulling". there wasn't even an ending to talk about. nuf said. do yourself a favor and watch anything else.

This show used to be so good. amazing really. the first few seasons to the viewer to a whole other worldly possibility. after the 5th season or so it gradually turns into a love story. not for me. plus, and i dont care about gay but theres a lot lately. finally, like many have said on here, all the main characters are gone.
