Will stand the test of time as the greatest superhero movie.
29 July 2020
12 years after releasing I have full confidence in saying that The Dark Knight is still the best superhero movie to ever grace the big screen. As entertaining as The Avengers have been, they simply don't come close to Christopher Nolan's masterpiece. Not by a mile. Most of DC's output of films the past decade have been hugely underwhelming, but no matter how bad they get, there will always be this silver lining in their catalog. I'm interested to see Robert Pattinson's Batman next year - I've no doubt he'll give it his all - but Christian Bale will always be Batman for me. As will Heath Ledger (rest in peace) will always be Joker, Michael Caine as Alfred - you get the picture. What I'm saying is, I am totally convinced that The Dark Knight will never be beaten as a comic book movie - not by Marvel and not even DC themselves. It's as simple as that. If you want a more thorough explanation of why I love this movie so much, you'll have to read the other, higher rated reviews - they explain it better than any of my words ever could. Simply put - this is a film that everyone of all backgrounds should see at least once in their lifetimes, else they will not have lived life to the fullest.

This show is still running in 2020.

I'm sure the most intelligent of us will have realised by now that not only is this one of the most garbage shows on British television, it's also the fakest, most manipulative and downright cynical shows to ever grace television in general. Search up 'talent shows exposed' on YouTube and you'll see more evidence than you could ever need that this show along with its counterparts (X Factor, The Voice, America's Got Talent etc) should have been axed years ago. I'm more than happy to accept that not everyone will have the same taste as me, but if you still willingly watch this show then you are just as bad as Simon Cowell and the rest of the inhuman producers who run the show. "But it's just a silly family show" which would be fine if anything about it was genuine. At the end of the day it's a glorified reality tv show, none of it is real and to the people who still don't realise this - wake up. You shouldn't be wasting your time watching this trash. Surely you value your time more than this?

I will keep this short and sweet.

There's a part in the alien spaceship where Liam Hemsworth's character (whose name i don't care enough to remember) takes his phallic object out and starts to urinate as a distraction for something (which again i could not care less about to remind myself of). It was this moment where I gave up any hope of the film getting better

If you're aged 13 or below and/or have no standards for films whatsoever you'll probably like this

That's all I have the energy to say really
