Burn Your Maps (2016)
Delusion vs reality
Just because you believe you are something doesn't make it so. Next the boy will think he's a female and have to "make the change". ................................................................................................................
The Unforgivable (2021)
S..l..o..w..
Maybe my attention span has grown shorter with age, but lately it seems that Netflix takes a 10-minute story and make a 2-hour movie out of it. Synopsis: Older sister takes the fall for her young sister, who shot a cop. Life is hard when you've been a convicted felon in prison.
Destination Wedding (2018)
Boring
An hour and a half of snarky repartee.. Let's see who can outdo the other or themselves. No thanks.
Army of One (2016)
Dragged on and on
Watching Cage portray a crazy person his loud, obnoxious, whiny voice for the entire movie was difficult. The plot was very thin and repetitive.
Trees Lounge (1996)
Boring
No humor, no action, no plot, no problems resolved. A drunk guy bungling through his life. No thanks.
Sweet Girl (2021)
No
I gave up about 20 minutes in, just after the 47th cliché, and started jumping ahead. I didn't get any better.
Thunder Force (2021)
Dumb. Really dumb.
I tried for about 30 minutes, with frequent skipping ahead. I couldn't watch any more.
Knock Knock (2015)
Bad feeling about this
I only watched the previews and was repulsed. Girls: We're so cute and giggly; you won't mind if we come in and make a mess. Keane: I'll keep saying I'm angry but not do anything about it, like kick you out.
The Ranch (2016)
I hate laugh tracks
I watched the first episode for about 30 seconds and quit. Sam Elliot is cool; Ashton Kutcher is plays his usual idiot. But I can't stand an obnoxious laugh track after every line.
Justine (2019)
Pass
The theme has been done many times before, but lacks everything that is good about "You're Not you", "Me Before You", or "The Fundamentals of Caring" (to name just a few): wit, charm, comic relief, connection about the characters, etc.
