The Social Dilemma (2020)
Guess we're gonna die
The documentary was very interesting but these guys need to chill. The polarization bit seems plausible but there was some clear left wing bias. I feel like the main warning was a civil war between left wing and right wing but I simply cannot believe that people are such sheep to let it come this far.
Also, I feel like the image these people have of the youth's behavior on social media is wrong for the most part. I just need social media to look at memes and they cannot take away my memes I must have my memes. Also I use YouTube to watch pewdiepie and women's long jump videos and sometimes I like to squeeze a little golf video in there. My recommended page is completely free of propaganda of any sort.
Conclusion: the documentary was interesting but these guys are stressing too much. Also that dude looked like Santa Claus if he went on a vacation to jamaica
Gi-eok-ui bam (2017)
Just a very weird movie
This movie really was a rollercoaster. The only Korean movie I had seen before this was Parasite, and even though I knew beforehand that this movie was not going to be as good as Parasite, I was seduced into expecting a fun and thrilling experience after reading some reviews. However, the experience ended up being rather confusing and very unsatisfying.
The movie was introduced as a simple story about a family moving into a new home where a creepy adventure was waiting for them. To be honest, the first half of the movie was alright, the main character's brother was abducted while the both of them were out for a walk at 11:30 PM. He returned 19 days later but he couldn't remember anything. Also, there was a room in their new house which they were by any means not allowed to enter. The main character heard some loud noises coming out of this room so that was another huge mystery.
The movie spent the second half of the movie revealing the mysteries and throwing in random plottwists that were supposed to astonish the audience. Whatever they were trying to do, I was not impressed. There was too much inexplicable drama and I am still trying to figure out why most of the plot happened. Also, this movie has perhaps the most unnecessary and cheesy ending I have ever witnessed.
I rate this movie a 4/10
Breaking Bad: Dead Freight (2012)
A movie on its own
I have been an IMDB user for a long time, but I never expected my first review to be about just one episode of a show.
There have been many moments in Breaking Bad that make the show one of the best ever made, but for me this episode was the point of realization that there is no other show that has reached or will ever reach the level of Breaking Bad. Every single shot in this episode is perfect. The events come along naturally and the acting is flawless. The episode revolves around a genius train heist, just the fact that a movie writer can think of something like this already blows my mind. Both the buildup to the heist and the execution of the heist were put together beautifully and the ending left me speechless. I have never had this much respect for a show and I cannot wait to see how it ends.
