Mulan

"The girl became a soldier, the soldier became a leader, and the leader bacame a legend."--mulan

"She will be fearless, and go ahead, even in front of thousands of troops and horses."

Mulan retains the core and integrity of the original animated film, while at the same time recreating the legendary historical story.

Mulan is not short of beautiful moving, exciting grand scene, there are fantastic scenery, photography, action, you can see the director's skill is very strong. In addition, director Niki doesn't ignore the character's emotion and growth. Actress Liu Yifei's solid performance brings the character to life. She is not only beautiful and elegant, but also has a unique charm. You will understand after you have seen the film. The beauty and emotion of the film were not lost because of the smaller screen, but I still want to see her on the big screen.

Goodfellas (1990)

Goodfellas
2 September 2020
The movie is really about local gangsters, not real mafias, big criminal organizations. Joe Percy is usually aggressive and murderous, but more cathartic, and early in the film, the bad luck in the back of the car, he needs to panic to repair the knife. Telling jokes, making a sudden turn in fashion, deliberately bluffing, alluding to his underlying scoundrel. By contrast, the Mafia has dealt with him cleanly, showing the gap between amateurs and professionals.

Those who have been in the gang, or have been in contact with those people, will find Joe Percy's performance in Goodfellas extremely resonant. That kind of perverse character, self-abasement and suspicious (always suspected others look down on their own), love to tell jokes publicity their own personality is easy to turn over, the general character of a class of bottom gangsters portray extremely vivid.

When circumstances try to smooth out your angles, do not let your soul stop flying.

The chief takes with him a vegetable who ends up in a lunatic asylum, a body that no longer stands up to the rules he loathes.

Murphy of death is a spiritual symbol for patients who dare not resist. If Murphy had not died, he would have been used as a deterrent by the "coalition".

Murphy's body is gone, but his spirit lives on.

A complex but coherent epic, with rigorous and precise shots and compositions, the characters of the seven samurai and several peasants are vividly depicted; Armageddon after "Rest" is bigger and more spectacular.

The usual suspects

Caesar is terrible because of his control. He makes you dance in his make-believe scenarios, thinking you already know what's going on, but not knowing that you're just a clown in the eyes of others.

At the end of the film, the riddle is revealed, and we discover that Caesar is a cripple.

The stupid cripple had concocted a story about the whole journey, without any holes, from scraps on the wall of the office, and had, of course, tricked the Customs commissioner, a veteran of many years of dealing with criminals.

There are some drawbacks, but that doesn't mean it's a great movie.

'Yes, he's a samurai, but he's also a man of flesh and blood. He can't drink only the Mistral.'

What really drives them to the brink is a life of poverty and despair.

Who would have done a hara-kiri if it wasn't a last resort?

The film's dark ending reveals the hypocrisy and ugliness of certain moral codes and interrogates the so-called bushido spirit after the wonderful fight scenes in the climax.

Is face and glory more important, or is life more important?

There's a calm surrender to the rush of day When the heat of the rolling wind can be turned away An enchanted moment, and it sees me through It's enough for this restless warrior just to be with you.

And can you feel the love tonight It is where we are It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer That we got this far And can you feel the love tonight How it's laid to rest It's enough to make kings and vagabonds Believe the very best

There's a time for everyone if they only learn That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn There's a rhyme and reason to the wild outdoors When the heart of this star-crossed voyager beats in time with yours

Back to the future
30 August 2020
The ancestor of time travel, the day after the imitation of the textbook. Every time You look at Zemecis's script, it's like a perfect answer to Field's play-beginning and end, how to grasp the contradictions, how to cover the details, how to control the rhythm, and how the dog is a gorgeous, flowing double setting at the climax that still looks exciting after 30 years.

Although the concept of time travel is not carefully dealt with, back to the Future is a comedy about youth, imagination and growing up, while science fiction is a gorgeous coat with many echoes in it. The story about time travel has a wonderful sense of balance.

Terminator 2: Judoment Day
30 August 2020
Besides the fierce fighting scenes, the plot is very rigorous. The scientists who study the terminator finally realize that the T800's self-sacrifice is a profound analysis of human nature. The effects of time travel on the future, the T800 ultrasonic camouflage, liquid nitrogen freezing, the robot's previous battles and even the backup power supply make it a legitimate science fiction work.

Cameron had planned two other endings for the film, one ending with a liquid nitrogen freeze at T1000, and the other with Sarah recalling the past, in which John had already raised a happy ordinary family. Both endings were good, but there seemed to be something else missing. Cameron chose the T800 to sacrifice his own ending. In the dark road, human beings have to choose how to move forward by themselves, leaving enough space for the audience to think, making the film become a classic forever.

The "Bleak House" under the shadow of night becomes the center of the mystery, creating a dual personality (the use of mirror image) with shadows and clever frames, and framing a split soul with segmented composition; Several close-up eyes gaze, pupil reflection, as well as the perspective of peeping, are just like the death coveting; Suspense high hanging, layer upon layer of advance, can not breathe.

The "murder in the bathroom" scene has become a classic in film history. It lasts 48 seconds and consists of 78 fast-changing shots. Although there is no bloody scene, its horrible effect is increased day by day.

The blind girl is the love and hope of the whole film. On the one hand, her existence makes what the tramp does become meaningful; on the other hand, the encounter between her and the tramp after her eyes are restored is the transcendence and sublimation of the theme.

After adding the destiny of every ordinary individual, the film completes the extension of the character's emotion, which is no longer simply an allegory of social reality. Their meeting shows that all human stupidity results from a disregard for beauty.

In the last scene, the girl asks is that you? Chaplin nips the tears that are about to come out of his eyes and stares at the girl with all his love in his eyes.

This is a silent film, all the emotions are in the eyes, if love can not be said, it will overflow from the eyes.

At the time you were born, it is hard to see the beauty of the world, but you cannot deny its existence.

At first, I just couldn't understand why Desis, who was so rude and even nasty, had been chosen by Philip. But Philip was lonely and fragile at heart, with a strong sense of pride, and the professional nurses could not give him spiritual equality, nor could they give him the peace of mind to face his happy pen Pal as a disabled man. DE Assis was an accident of Philip's orderly life, but a late consolation in the spirit. There was no class, no color, no race but mutual understanding.

Mutual redemption requires no sympathy. Can not describe that kind of feeling, probably is the warmth of the long run. In terms of love, friendship, the best relationship is mutual achievement.

The story, the ups and downs, it's all good. The rhythm of the screen switch, the close-up in the clean background and the interpretation of the characters by the actors are all very expressive. There is no progressive foreshadowing, but the direct links can experience the complex connotation. It captures the emotional impact and weakens the film's technique.

Have not given up in the lucky, want to take a breath, but in fact the reality is always more than the so-called warmth cruel.

Once the pursuit of the best and beyond the limits of the goal, unless achieved, or that breath, a lifetime can not be swallowed.

"Don't worry about what other people think. You're here for a reason."

"Because I want to be better. I want to be one of the greatest."

"You're back to the core."

"I'm there to push them beyond their limits."

"Only one goal in mind."

"There are no two words more harmful than good."

"And I'll never apologize for trying."

Some people can put their attention to what they love. Although it is difficult, there are always others who can do it.

Cuttle has said not to use a double that he can't control, that he can only kill one at a time if he wants perfect control, and he has also said he wants to swap places with the double, so the double dies and he appears to enjoy the cheer.

Copying machines is also a scam from start to finish. Why is tesla leaving when the machine succeeds? Because he knew it couldn't be. Two magicians have been trying to atone for their hatred, just like magic deceiving the eyes, one keeps killing for it, and the other is schizophrenic for it.

So they all ended up dead.

Every character is special and stereoscopic, and the harmonica man finally gets his revenge. It's an epic story.

Personal destiny in the context of The Times.

To say that the subject is only revenge misses a lot.

The rough style, the rough characters, the sweat, the hot sun, and the dreary death are the most attractive. When I watch them, I am tortured by the environment, and the feeling of substitute is very strong.

The whole movie is about showing you the cruelty of war, its relentless encroaching on young children, while you watch them die bit by bit...

This movie is a real anti-war, a bloody indictment of the war. Although the younger generation is blinded by the government and cannot understand the mistakes made by their own country, the older generation of Japanese animation and cartoon practitioners generally criticize Japan's war behavior, and Hayao Miyazaki was once accused of being a traitor for being anti-war.

"I don't want you to sacrifice anything to prove that you love me. I want you to hold onto more things because you love me."

Between choices, there is no right or wrong. The old projectionist is not God, and there is no guarantee that his white lies will give Duo Duo the most satisfying life. But he has perfected a different kind of experience.

If Duo Duo elopes with Elena, will they be together forever? Will you miss better than meet?

I really like the ending of the movie. It seems that Dodo has completed his life in another way. It is because life is never perfect that we step into the cinema in search of hope. But then again, how do you know what to treasure if you don't feel something yourself? After many years. A man left home after many vicissitudes of life, in the assessment of the years to shoot a classic work. Fulfill the audience, also fulfill themselves.

It's better to leave home and create your own story than to live a fantasy life in a movie theater. Maybe that's why the old projectionist decided to let Dodo go. And it's only when we learn to pull away that the past becomes clearer.

Rear Window (1954)

Rear window
25 August 2020
Unique shooting techniques, with the hero's eyes as the lens, to peer into the lives of the neighbors. The audience gradually sees a murder coming to the surface with the hero's eyes, but murder is not the whole of the movie, it is just a movie in this movie. In this film, every window is a screen, and every moment is a film of its own. Maybe that's what makes it special. It's attractive enough.

Talk a little bit more about role setting.

The hero is set as a photojournalist unable to move freely due to illness. As a photojournalist, the man's instinctive curiosity and observation led him to focus on the smallest things, and the neighbors' parents catered to this habit, relieving the boredom and boredom caused by his absence from work. (And the metaphorical voyeur is not a normal person.)

The film's unusual and bizarre act of "prolonged peeping" adds credibility to the character's presence and reduces the audience's sense of alienation.

Alien (1979)

As a side note: According to the movie's setting, in fact, no matter how strong the alien's physical warfare force is, it doesn't mean much. Its fast running speed, fierce strength and corrosive blood are not enough in the face of modern or future military forces. The really powerful thing about aliens is their ability to evolve and learn, and the parasitic hosts can absorb their strengths and become more powerful, constantly learning and adapting to their environment. The alien in the film, soon after birth, can use tricks, skilled coordination, extremely keen observation, this intelligence potential has been inferior to human beings, but in a different form.

But the movie doesn't give Alien enough time to grow. In fact, alien's intelligence and social structure could have developed into civilization. For example, if the film in the alien into human, alone born in a strange environment of human, not to mention the big kill, it is difficult to survive, more can not be like alien 2 inside like that, very soon set up a nest.

Intelligence is the most important skill point for advanced creatures. This intelligence, combined with its fearlessness, self-depredation, and superior speed of evolution, would be infinitely more powerful if a civilization were to emerge.

Apocalupse Now
25 August 2020
Primitive barbarism, endless war, totem worship.

In Apocalypse now, Willard kills the father figure, Colonel Coates, and the crowd bows outside.

You have to kill your father to be a father yourself. This is the harsh truth of history.

When you think about it, you will find that this is not an anti-war movie, this is clearly a pro-war movie. War shatters the lie of civilization and shows you the bloody truth in its nakedness.

This movie is a boat, upstream in a tropical river in Vietnam, witnessing an individual go mad, die, nightmarish absurdity, hellish madness.

Memento (2000)

memento
25 August 2020
Natalie lashed out at Leonard, and then said you have amnesia, so we can still be friends, even lovers, in the future.

In general, interpersonal communication is a long-term game process, the so-called integrity, friendship, care and so on, and most of the time is just a rational choice after weighing the interests. Leonard's special amnesia causes his interactions with people around him to be cut off into a series of short-term games, so he is constantly exploited and cheated. Human nature, once unchecked, becomes hysterical and reckless.

In a sense, Memento is more like a film about existential philosophy in the guise of a suspense film: life is meaningless, life needs to be given meaning, but life is not given meaning.

Story is ridiculous, why should we dozen twenty minutes for a short memory to find a meaning, but the lives of people in the long river of history is not so short, so human greatness is to find the meaning of life, human is distinguished from other species upon earth, are the only ones who understand "born to die" species, may be it is this instinct, has the long-term development of human beings.

However, the significance of such a development is still unknown...

The great dictator

It was a comedy, but After I saw it, There was a long silence.

At a distance it is a comedy, at a close it is a tragedy.

It was Mr. Chaplin's first sound film, and during the filming he was under great pressure from German diplomats and Fascist organizations in the United States. However, Chaplin still refused to change his mind and risked being assassinated to openly challenge the Nazis.

This is a movie where you want to stand up and clap for Chaplin!

"In this world there's room for everyone and the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone."

Paths of glory
24 August 2020
In the Franco-German war, the French general launched an impossible and victorious attack for personal gain and sent several innocent soldiers to the execution ground. The upright colonel could do nothing about it, and he could not change the fate of all the soldiers even if he brought down the general.

All the fine things said by these generals, by some respectable officers, could be applied to themselves; patriotism, as the colonel said, was the disguise of these scoundrels. The film's title, "The Path to Glory," echoes the film's expression, which is the ultimate satire on this route to military advancement. Kubrick showed a very strong grasp of details in this film. Many characters left a deep impression on people, and these details echoed each other and corresponded to the expression, which is really a reflection of a director's strong ability.
