Don't Look Up (2021)

Truthfully hilarious..and terrifying

This movie seemed much longer than needed, but held so much truth. As I read through the reviews, it seems that the negatives were left by those who missed the message. The literal universe is so much bigger than us. So big that even the terrifying thought of a comet destroying earth is as trivial as some of the media and personal issues covered in the movie. The movie highlighted the ways in which we distract, defend, and find meaning in things to preserve life as we know it when the inevitable is upon us.

This movie was weak. The cliche storyline, the terrible performances from quality actors...wow. It was expected, yet still disappointing.

This show is literally underrated. The ideas are so clever and relatable! The content was created with a specific cultural context in mind, which may be the reason for some of the mediocre reviews. I can't wait for season 2!
