Star Trek Continues (2013)
Wow. It's as good as it can be.
It's incredible how much the look and feel is the same as TOS. Although I do think it gets a bit heavy handed on the social preaching at times, yes I know TOS did it too, but they took it up a notch. Still you really feel like you're watching season 4. Lots of throwbacks and story continuations. If you are a fan of TOS this is something you'll enjoy. Vic Mignogna is obviously a fan of TOS and it shows. Not only does he do a great job portraying Captain Kirk, but he's just about in every credit. Honestly the only character I don't think they nailed was McCoy. It was played by two different actors, but neither really pulled it off. Still, it's was a fun watch.
Right America: Feeling Wronged - Some Voices from the Campaign Trail (2009)
No fair minded person should take this seriously.
First off, this was made by Nancy Peolsi's daughter, so much for a fair project. I'm not saying these people are not a part of America, unfortunately they are, but to say they represent everyone that didn't vote for Obama is false. This would be like Newt Gingrich going to Berkeley or San Francisco and filming flag burners and troop protesters and saying that this is the average Obama supporter. I live in New Orleans, part of fly over country, and I know no one like the people in this film. If someone voted against Obama because he is black, their wrong. If people voted for Obama because he's black, their wrong too. I'm white and voted for Ron Paul. My girlfriend's black and voted for Obama. I know people who voted for Obama just cause it was the "it" thing to do. And that to is wrong. If this country is going to come together both the far right and the far left need to go far away.
Brainwashing 101 (2004)
Very good!!
People on the left will hate this film. But,unfortunately, it is what's happening in universities today. As a collage student, I see this all the time. This is an important movie for anyone about to enter collage. Or for anyone about to send their kids off to collage. Even Coyne Maloney has done some great documentaries. His way of exposing extremist on the left is funny as well as informative. Unlike Michael Moore, he does not paste different speeches together to make it look like someone is saying something they are not. He does not need to. He just brings the camera to rallies and lets the extremists do what they do. If your on the left, you will not like this exposure. But if you watch this film with an open mind, you will see that there is something going on campuses today that is scary and needs to be exposed.
