Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)
A work of art! (Could not have been better)
This film is a unique piece of film history and is highly under-rated, you have to have the right frame of mind to watch 'Fear and Loathing' (Open Minded). The acting is Great some of the best pieces of work by Depp and Deltoro. Worth a watch if you are open minded!
Street Trash (1987)
A good horror movie, worth watching
This movie is quite unique in its style, there is no real story but the idea of drinking a mysterious beverage and then melting in a cool gory way is a good concept. It will make me think twice before I drink strange liquids which I find hidden in my wall. This film also has funny scenes such as a bum going into a store filling his pants with items, kicking up a storm with an old lady and shop worker before putting a paper bag on his head and walking out of the store smashing through the window (With the items) A worth while watch!
Madman (1981)
Same old story in a poor movie!
The story of this movie is the same as so many horror films such as 'The Burning' and 'Candyman', The story of saying the killers name was to bring him out from his rest (Not very Original). That was not the worst thing about the movie, it was the acting! the charactors had no real feeling of emotion you could tell by their faces that they did not know what they were doing. The cover of the Brittish DVD says "Available for the first time in the UK - UNCUT" I think that the cut version would be more boring (if possible). Would have been better if the action was not so spaced out and the acting was better
Terror Toons (2002)
So bad it's funny
If you want to see a really cheap and tacky B-movie that is so bad it's funny then get this. I would say this is the absolute WORST film i've ever seen and I get the impression the producers intentionally wanted the flick to be bad to try and make it a cult movie. Everything from the seedy acting, awful storyline, irritating characters and music and the laughably crap special effects make this one hell of a bad movie. It's like they've hooked up a camcorder to a PC and quickly hacked together silly infantile effects which surely could take a beating from school kids (this movie wasn't made by school kids was it?).
The two 'toon' characters Dr. Carnage and Max Assassin are mind numbingly irritating, they are sucked into a house through a DVD, kill a 20 something year old who is pretending to be a little girl and then trot around making strange noises and comically decapitating nearly everyone in the house (apart from the girl who they take to hell to see the devil and then decides she's going to be a super hero to save the day). The actors/actresses in this film look like they've just been picked off the street and notably the parents (including a man poorly portraying the mother), the friends and the pizza man are just plain bad.
Overall this movie is anything but boring and would recommend renting it on budget(!) with some friends for a laugh at how bad it actually is!
The Beatles Anthology (1995)
Beatles forever!
The Beatles anthology fan-tastic perfect for any Beatles fan, i could watch the Beatles anthology over and over again and not get tired of it. Very interesting throughout with the Beatles themselves talking about what it was like being the center of Beatle mania. You must watch it if you havent already, if you have watched it again! 10 out of 10!
Meet the Feebles (1989)
More realistic than the Muppets!
When i read story line, i thought that it would be worth watching but when i watched it i found that i was glad that i did. Funny scenes throughout and captures more of the human emotions than the Muppets for example: Happiness, Sadness, Anger/Rage, jealousy etc. Great film worth watching.
A Clockwork Orange (1971)
A work of art, nothing less of a masterpiece
This movie has shown me that a film can be perfect, a most original motion picture with such power that it could inspire other directors to change there direction methods and try to make they're films more like this one. A young troubled man seeking pleasure through crime and beethoven, nothing bad to say about this movie.
