Riverdale: Chapter Eighty-Seven: Strange Bedfellows (2021)
Doesn't feel like Riverdale anymore
I don't know where's the good old Riverdale that we watched on season 1 and 2, maybe 4? I didn't like season 3 and the Gargoyle King but it was for sure better than now. The beginning of the season 5 was good but then the whole plot just collapsed after the time jump and after that it's been horrible to watch, sorry.
And why on earth do they have to force some Chilling Adventures of Sabrina vibes into this show? Meaning Cheryl and her mother. That show was ruined at the end so writers, just leave it there and don't try to turn this show into some kind of fantasy which it isn't and never has been before!
This just feels so messy overall. Everything's either weird or tacky. People are just fighting and there's an endless amount of violence. The show has lost it's way focusing on the four main characters, their friends and family. I liked the Black Hood plot very much but there's nothing like that anymore.
Younger: Older (2021)
Deserved a much better ending
I don't know, this whole season wasn't so good. Everything felt either a little boring or forced. I think twelve episodes wasn't enough to wrap this serie up so they just started rushing things up together and it ended up being a complete mess with a little to a none to do how the serie once started.
I also missed Diana so much. She was the boss lady in this show with a big B. I don't know why she was left out. Also Josh needed so much more screen time 'cause now it doesn't make any sense that he suddenly jumped back into Liza's love life in the last five minutes of the season and the whole show. After all he and Liza didn't have anything romantic going on in this season even though they first started dating back then in season 1. I don't know, was this some kind of "circle closed" effect or what? I always liked them together and I couldn't choose between him and Charles but the ending just seemed so random.
Honestly, I didn't understand who did Liza end up with after finishing the episode. I regonized Liza and Charles talking in bed "how they will not be able to make it" but I seriously didn't understand were they talking about business or love life. Had to check this reviews out to understand the concept. And I didn't understand why they were not able to be together? He just left Quinn and things had started to get better and then suddenly out of nowhere they just broke up? What on earth was that?
Empirical was just left to hang in there with Liza in charge and Charles being away for a while. Is Diana still in that honey moon? Kelsey and INKUbator is a great idea but I hoped she had stayed in New York. Lauren's ending was really random but it was also very "Lauren" so I'll just leave this here. I liked Maggie and Cass together so that was okay.
I've propably said "I don't know" a million times in this review but thats just how I feel with many things. I feel so confused that it ended up this way. I'm sad and very disappointed. And I really expected much more from Younger! I really would have liked to see more seasons and that's what this serie so badly needed. This could be an ending just for one season, not a finale one. But it is what it is, I hope Liza will change his mind with Charles or start a happy life with Josh.
Big Sky (2020)
Getting worse
I liked the first nine episodes and the hostage scenes. Well, the episodes were not super good but still addictive. The main plot around Ronald is interesting and keeps the show running. But something happened after episode 9 and now the main plot has disappeared somewhere between the random plots in every episode. I think it's starting to be boring and making zero sense... The writers should decide what this is about and then stay on it.
Legacies: Yup, It's a Leprechaun, All Right (2021)
Has covid hit The Salvatore School?
Last two episodes have felt a little sad and poor with so much less people than usual. It almost feels like that covid has hit the school and everybody is sent home to quarantine. Although this does make sense if they've filmed during the pandemic, it's undestandable that they cannot take as much actors and assistants into the shooting during these hard times.
This was an OK episode, the comedy and Lizzie's sarcastic jokes made it better. Legacies can't be compared to TVD and TO but it has a lots of funny characters anyway. At least they are trying. I'm a little bit of tired this monster plot and I'm waiting to see some old faces and plots from TVD and TO but let's see. Maybe this for the younger audience.
Riverdale: Chapter Eighty-Four: Lock & Key (2021)
Almost nothing makes sense
This season 5 seemed so promising and had a couple of excellent episodes but recently it has turned out being a flop. I first rated this serie 9/10 stars, raised it into 10 stars in the beginning of the season 5 but now I guess it's time to drop it back to 9 stars again.
I'm sorry I know there's a lots of Varchie fans there but honestly I'm so tired of this same old relationship and plot again. I waited for Barchie so long and it only lasted like two to three episodes when they were "just having fun" together. And now back to friends like nothing happened? You gotta give us more than that.
I started to see a development in Cheryl's character after the first couple of seasons but now they turned her back to a controlling manipulative person that she was in season 1. Why? And Jughead. He seeing mothmen's skeletons everywhere and being drunk, tacky and boring.
I was really disappointed how Roberto ended his other serie "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" so I'm terrified how is it going to be with Riverdale... Please writers, learn from your mistakes.
Riverdale: Chapter Eighty-Three: Fire in the Sky (2021)
Everything's good except the mothmans
It's as good as it was before, very similar compared to the former seasons. Archie's plot is a little bit boring and he being "the hero" over and over again is becoming a little frustrating but I can handle it. I love Betty's, Veronica's, Cheryl's and Toni's plots. And I would like to see more Barchie in a level way more serious. But then those mothmans... Please don't turn this into a fantasy serie like in season 3 with the Gargoyle king... Don't take it the wrong way I like supernatural series but not when it comes to Riverdale. I hope they'll find a natural explanation to this plot twist.
Legacies: Hold on Tight (2021)
It's time to start to honour the true legacy of Tvd and To
I gave this entire show 9/10 stars because it's related to Tvd and To. Without them I woul've dropped the number down at least for two. We're so done with this whole Malivore and monster plot, can we pls move on already? Even in Tvd they didn't get stuck in one plot twist for several seasons...
And I think those monsters are just too much. They're way too childish to the audience of Tvd and To. I think this show should honour the precious legacy that those shows left behind. But instead of that we're getting some mud monsters and flying fire dragons... Please. Seriously?
And it's also time to move on with those relationships. We've seen enough Handon, what about something else? And you need to add more characters and themes from Tvd and To and make this show more mature. This is not going to succeed on this way. I wanna see some old, familiar faces and feel my heart beating out of excitement and cry my eyes out of the joy of reunion.
Legacies: Salvatore: The Musical! (2021)
Thank you
Thank you so much for this episode, I felt kinda emotional reminiscing Tvd. I usually don't like musicals but the nostalgy was something that made this beyond better than the others. The execution was surprisingly good and this was one of the best episodes of Legacies so far. And I loved to hear Candice's voice, just add more old elements from Tvd and this show will get even better, you're on the right path now.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Chapter Thirty-Six: At the Mountains of Madness (2020)
Ended up in tears
I don't know what happened to this serie. It started on being so promising, a perfect supernatural serie of a teenage girl between the mortal and supernatural world. The first couple of seasons were good and the serie is worth more than just a one star but this final ep doesn't deserve any more.
The show just got weirder and weirder while the time passed. That's so sad 'cause there were so much wasted potential on there. I'm the kind of person who begs on happy endings so this left me dissappoitment and sad. The main character should never die in the finale. I just hope now that Roberto AS doesn't ruin Riverdale like he ruined Sabrina...
