Boring, almost felt asleep

I don't know how can people find this remotely funny,the score on IMDB is bewildering and the whole cast and crew are should be finned for this torture of boredom.

I actually wanted to have some laughs and ended up disappointed, I even wonder what is the IQ of the reviewers that gave this movie a rating above 5.

Where is the ability to make good comedy movies? Did it died with the end of the 90s? Did the writers read the script out loud? Amateurish dialogue and acting, f word just said a bunch of times for the sake of saying it.

If you have any trouble sleeping watch this, you will fall asleep in no time!

Genie (III) (2023)

Bad remake, even worse than original, save your time

Everyone who left a 10/10 review is lying and probably has been paid by the company.

This is a bad remake, of Bernard and the Genie, 1991.

Alan Cumming in the 90s was the main actor and now he plays the role of Rowan Atkinson as the gallery owner. Not only he plays the role but actually acts exactly like Rowan Atkinson did in the 90s movie with zero creativity, even the mannerisms are exactly like the same ones.

The main lines of the story, up to 50 minutes (I quit at this point) are basically the same as the lines in 199, seams that the writers (was there any?) just wanted to do some quick easy money

Melissa McCarthy tries hard with her acting, but can't do much with the lines she has been given. The major change of this version vs the 90s is that the genie is now a woman and the main character is married, he was single in the 1991 movie and his gf left him for his best friend.

If you just want to watch mediocre comedy watch the movie from the 90s, at least it is original, and it only takes 1h of your life. Everyone should boycott poor remakes that don't even acknowledge they are plagiarizing the original material.

Renfield (2023)

Comedy? Horror? None of them

I saw some decent reviews but it worse than I could have imagined.

Last night watched Johny English from 2003 and have a lot of laughs, today was up for another comedy and chose this movie, what a disappointment. The best it could get out of me was a pale smile. Is comedy dead? It seams so... When the writers think that blood baths in middle of chaotic fights are enough for the audience to laugh we can say comedy died on the ER table.

The horror was limited to blood baths, no suspense plot, no scary story, nothing.

It is appalling to me how come some people said they had fun. The story line is poorly polished, the dialog flat and simplistic.

It is absolutely a shame to waste Nic Cage's full manic potential on such a film.

Invincible: Atom Eve (2023 TV Movie)

Don't bother

I don't know even where to start, apparently an adult couple can't deal with a very intelligent kid, the kid doesn't want to go to gift school because the students there are weird since they want to be lawyers, doctors and astronauts and those professions aren't meaningful, they are boring and she wants to do something meaningful. Her adoptive parents, special the father behave like teenagers and have zero parental skills. We get to know zero about their life, what do they do for a living, no family bonding, the 1st half an how of this show is simply focused in how special is the gifted child and how bad are the adults taking care of her. Even the babysitter notices that the child is special but the parents are clueless dumb.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

Overrated

Not suitable for children or individuals who are sensitive.

Disney seems to have completely lost sight of its storytelling mastery.

The film I had anticipated to be an enjoyable experience turned out to be deeply distressing, as it predominantly depicted instances of animal cruelty. I found myself shedding tears rather than having the anticipated laughter. It is incomprehensible to me why someone with a disturbed mindset would deem it acceptable to repeatedly and explicitly portray such cruelty towards innocent and adorable creatures, subjecting them to painful ordeals or transforming them into grotesque monstrosities. The entirety of the movie was simply disconcerting, and I strongly caution parents and guardians to exercise extreme care if considering allowing their children to watch it. The visuals were disgustingly graphic without any discernible purpose, the narrative lacked inspiration, and this film fails to offer any redeeming qualities. I had initially been filled with excitement about seeing the movie, as the Guardians series is typically enjoyable, but my expectations were shattered, leaving me immensely disappointed.

Silo (2023– )

This show deserves better writers

This premise of this story is interesting but nothing new. In a dystopian future everyone lives underground, 140y back there was a revolution that erased all the known history files and books, but somehow the rulers contained it (imo the revolution was made up by the rulers to control the populace and distort history in their favor). Going outside is deadly (this reminds me of a movie or tv show in the 80s,90s), no one dares to question this assumption. Everyone that says that they want to go out dies within minutes and their death is shown in the screens for everyone to see. A few have been questioning if these images are real or not or if it is all made up. A old HD is recovered and it has videos showing that outside is safe... and so the conspiracy theory builds up.

To sum up, not a new story, I saw long ago something similar in a movie or tv show, I can't recall it. The writing is banal, the dialogs don't catch your attention and the characters personality and story is poorly build up.

These companies need to start paying fairly to decent writers instead or hiring an intern.

Recent tv shows and been a disappointment, I think I am going to stop watching screens and back to books for the main form of entertainment.

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Save your brain cells, do not watch this

One hour through and I can't stand watching anymore. It was supposed to be a comedy with a seven rating, I was hoping for some good laughs, but I was wrong.

The dialogs are very poor, it has the f-word everywhere, using it like it is supposed to be funny. I don't mind the use of vulgar language if that goes with the story, but just using every single sentence makes no sense at all.

I don't get why Nick Nolte, Matthew Macconaughey Robert Downey Jr. And Tom Cruise accepted to act on this movie. Are they as dumb as the script?

I am glad I didn't waste money to watch this.

I wonder how many people they had to buy to get this IMDB rating...

Do not watch this movie if you value your brain cells.

Red Dawn (1984)

Do not waste your time

Very poor acting and dialogs, my 12 year old nephew writes better stories. USA is invaded by USSR and Mexico, a bunch of kids decides to fight back. They never get hurt, they happily kill people, don't get malnourished, or loose any of the battles. All of the sudden all of them can shoot machine guns. Don't waste your time with this, I only made it half though the movie, until I quit, life is too short to watch this garbage.

Vikingane (2016–2020)

This tv show is far from funny. Probably it is target to people with low IQ because I didn't laugh at all.

I do not understand this rating with such a deplorable acting, it seams they are reading a script mechanically. This is a Norwegian TV show with Norwegian actors, why aren't they talking their language? Why they deiced to shot this in horrid English?

I watched the 2 1st episodes and decided not to waste more time with this failed attempt of a decent TV show.

The Batman (2022)

Enough is enough. It is time to stop with all superhero movies with poor dialog.

Watched 1h15 minutes out of this and couldn't make myself to waste another 2h of my life to watch the movie until the end.

You can barely see what is going on with generic ultra dark scenes. Movies with a budged of millions of dollars should come up with better effects.

The movie is over-hyped, I don't know why it has a rating over 8.0, probably from all the teens, instagram and tiktok generation that doesn't know what is a good story since the most of their daily reading is 1 to 2 lines of short text in memes.

The Wheel of Time (2021– )

Downloaded 3 episodes, deleted all after 30 minutes

I've been thirsty of a good fantasy tv show for a while, almost everything released lately is tainted with terrible actors for the sake of diversity. This one unfortunately is another sample of diversity for the sake of diversity just leads to a cast of poor skilled actors. I watched 30 minutes of the 1st episode and was bored to death. Actors sound like robots, talk without any personality or emotion. I usually make myself endure for the 1st episode and make my mind after 3 episodes, but I could not give one more single minute of my precious life to this trash. I don't know the books, but the Tv show per se is overated and not worth your time.

This show is a perfect portrait of capitalism with no limits. These 2 sisters clearly have several mental issues that are never explored and treated. They need intensive therapy asap.

Apocalypse (2017–2018)

Torture

I came across this title and got interested in this show yet I couldn't pass the 1st episode. The acting is excruciatingly bad, dialogs seam forced, the writers have no idea how the police acts in investigation interviews, no idea how doctors behave after a conference (no we don't enter the hospital and receive congratulations from the staff), etc.

It seams they only counted on some famous Brazilian actors to get the audience and forgot the rest.

Into the Night (II) (2020–2021)

S1 8/10, S2 3/10

Loved season 1, 3 episodes in season 2 and this feels off, a bunch of people inside a bunker. 2 episodes went by trying to get the kid and his mom out of a room which brings nothing to the story. Feels like this season is a filler nothing else.

Infinite (2021)

Writers didn't read their own story

The movie starts with a good premise, some people in the world can remember all their past lives.

There are 2 factions one embraces their gift and wants to use that for the development of mankind, the other is tired of non ending reincarnations and wants to put an end to everything.

Major plot hole: The bad boys develop a device to end all life to stop the cycle of reincarnations, yet they already have a weapon that can confine consciousness to a chip and stop the person from being reincarnated but they only use it on their adversaries and not on themselves, probably because it is more fun to end all existing beings.

The movie fails to explore the main characters past lives and throws us a bunch of action scenes just to fill the lack of story development.

This had potential, yet seams that the writers were lazy and didn't even proof read the story.
