Visually stunning movie, beautiful characters, story starts off with a avatar like feel and then goes kind of Indiana jones.
24 May 2023
The movie starts off on a far distant planet on a peaceful day. Then it's destroyed. Some people manage to survive. And then the movie goes to the main characters who are kind of can't be young full of energy. The two main characters basically unknowns to me anyways, but one of them is Cara, divine or whatever her name is and she's like a supermodel something that's all I known her for she doesn't OK job she still needs a lot more practice more acting experience and the guy that plays her partner. He's about the same but there is a lot of action. Kind of reminds me of a futuristic game they can travel through dimensions. It was pretty inventive never seen anything like it. If you want to try something new to stick to it. I wanted to give up halfway through, but just the visuals kept me there. It's kind of predictable, but it was fun getting to it. I don't think you'll be too disappointed. It's a good movie not great too bad it could've been a lot more it's just really pretty. Oh, and I want to see Ethan Hawke and Rihanna in more crazy roles like this.

Slumberland (2022)

Alice in wonderland for modern times
27 November 2022
Slumberland is a whimsical tale about a solemn subject yes, the young girl lives in a light house with a dotting father who is lost at sea. The setting is magical and beautifully filmed. The child only next of kin is her business lifeless and emotionally devoid uncle who knows nothing about raising children and she is lost in her new life. Sleep is her only escape. She escapes back to the light house and falls asleep and meets her father's friend flip. Flip is played brilliantly by Jason Momoa. The effects are masterfully done. I was amazed at the creativity of that glass room. Just sit back and go on a beautiful adventure!

Nice surprise for Christmas
27 November 2022
Christmas is a time of rebirth and the rebirth of a Christmas tradition is what the Noel diary is! It's the story of a man that is lost in his success. He is so okay to just be alone in his cold stylishly dreary home for the holidays!

He is disconnected. So unattached that he receives a call to tell him that his estranged mother died last week and he missed the funeral but gets everything!

He goes back to clear out the house and starts to reconnect with his neighbor and a strange young woman to who also is looking for a connection. This takes them on a journey of discovery and truth. The colors are beautiful in the movie, the trees, the homes the interiors are authentic. Nothing faked. The actor's are wonderful and that dog is smart. This is definitely a romantic movie. Just one complaint. It ended to fast. I think this movie will catapult Barret Doss to be a new leading lady! She is wonderful in station 19. I hope to see her in more high caliber productions. And I loved seeing Bonnie Bedelia and the fun and loving neighbor! You'll love this movie.

Mexican woman conquers English man and make love like Dragons
8 November 2022
Henry Copper leads a dull dreary little writers life in jolly old England and his writings reflect that. Not living or loving! So naturally his books are dull! However his translated version of the book is doing very well on the other side of the pond! He is forced on a journey by his publisher to promote his book. There he meets his translator and he owes his success and learns to live and love in beautiful Mexico. Mexico is full of life love and passion and she is all Rolled up into a hard working and very spirited Maria. I love the fact that Amazon brought very talented character Mexican actors with very funny dialogue. You did a good job in echoing what is missing from bland British humor and apicing it up with some tampico. I came to see another Sam caflin movie and was rewarded with veronica echeria and los dos Horacio's. The boyfriend and the publisher! Wonderfully fun movie. If you understand Mexican humor!

Wonderful story about the power of love
8 October 2022
I love this Novela. It's been years since I saw it and I've sat through the whole thing twice. 108 episodes. And I wish i could see it again! David Zepeda played a grateful and loving son to his adopted father! He is strong and loyal. Ultimate man! Sandra Echeverría plays the daughter of a selfish and evil woman with a crazy and self destructive sister! Her story is heart wrenching and has a bitter sweet ending! I think her story affected me the most! Omg- and the appearance of that hunk Antoli and the love of his life (a beautiful blind girl). I've got the last 10 episodes saved on my computer! If you have the opportunity to see it do it! There is true power in love!

Unplugging two plugged in fools
5 October 2022
Yes, silly, but true enough about two people seeking to unplug from their devices and plug into their relationship. Loved seeing Eva Longoria in a non glamorous role still looking absolutely gorgeous and beijg funny. . And Matt Walsh playing the alpha mail that loss his alpha and got it back. Leah Thompson playing a backwoods conspiracy crazy was over the top. Loved watching Ozzie Smith again- such a long career. And they "Nailed It" with Nicole Byer as sheriff Margaret "Don't call me Margaret". I always love to watch her and her crazy personality. Don't overthink, just unplug. This is a good family movie. Nothing inappropriate, just fun.

Such a sweet movie

I love Albert Finney movies and this one didn't disappoint. And it was fun to watch a young Anton Yelchin. It's a feel good movie. And it's always great to see a Fonda offspring! Bridgette Fonda is a wind treasure. So sad she doesn't make more movies!

Omg laugh out loud
19 August 2022
From first impressions I thought this was gonna be stupid but it's more like stupid funny. Julio has the quintessential Mexican American look. And all the regular American ailments. He has emotional issues with Jessie, lactose intolerant and was bullied by Luis is his bully older cousin who now has to learn from Julio. The whole thing is fun and it has a good story line with interesting dialogue and Luis's beatboxing is not bad.

The best thing is that this show is intelligent and treats the homie culture with respect!

I really wanted to hate it but couldn't.

I can't believe this is a feel good movie. The cast is great! Marisa Tomei is always fun to watch! Pamela Adlon is great as the ex wife and Bill Burr is outstanding as the boyfriend getting through to their overgrown teenager! I loved the children in this movie- they had real an interesting parts! But most off all (and I can't believe I am saying this because he's so Ugly). I loved to watch Pete Davidson wrestle with his going nowhere life style and grow up! And of course it has Steve Buscemi! He always add so much chutzpah to any movie he is in.

Only one reason this movie was made! Money! This movie sucks, it's awful- just a shock jock movie! I this movie made me lose the blinders about what awful actor Dwayne Johnson is and how badly Mark Wahlberg is aging!

Grab on to your lady parts!

I loved this show, to darn short for me.it's in your face unapologetic and at first glance you wonder where is this going but at some point you don't care. The music sounds is rough and fun! The issues are real and I truly wonder if women like these brave women are actually out there! Hurrah for you!

I love it that this is a fresh cast, to me all unknowns basically except for Ronny Chieng. So no expectations. The opening scenes were a little cheesy and the story line is quite fast. Don't blink because you will definitely miss stuff, the dialogue is witty and silly at times but not dumb. The love at first kiss scene during the opening credits says it all about the speed of this movie. After a quick reunion at the cemetery with her ancestors the lead character Teddy is reminded by an old soul that time flies.

They're married without much planning and from the beginning she has plans for a bright future but he is afraid to live all of his life's dreams with the one he loves. He's a doubter. He wakes up from his wedding night to fast forward 1 year, just getting snapshots of what's happened in the last 12 months and he has 12 minutes to get it right. Not gonna spoil it but he let's lots of things get by without a second thought and he realizes how easily it's gone. It keeps you engaged, in fact the only thing that went to fast for me was the end. Reminds you of what is and what could be. Definitely worth at least 5-10 replays.
