Burden of Truth (2018)
So so...
Am I the only one who does not get why is whole story centered around Joanna Chang/Hanley? I mean, in Season 3, we have Crawford-Cheng Law Firm in which one of the partners (Billy) is errand boy, or in the best case law clerk and omniscient Joanna is the star. It is always about her and her problems, never about him. She had horrible father, but he was going through turbulent childhood as well (his father was not role model to put it mildly).

Somewhere in between...
Generally I liked the show, but what I expected is that adaptation of the novel would be true to the original. Having said that, there could be a certain liberty or space to change or improvise especially because setting was moved to Poland, but just to extent that you can still recognize original work. Here, I was confused - there where MAJOR changes in the scenario. Ending is not even close to the novel's ending and it is not about Camila. Certain characters had different occupations ( i.e. Pawel's/Paul's parents); Wojtek, a counselor, was not involved with Laura's father, Laura has her share of responsibility for that night... And many other things...
Anyway, acting was good...
Don't expect season 2, because that was shown is the gist of the story (with many different things)...
