Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (2002)
yawn yawn sisterhood
I did everything I could not to walk out of this film. But, I couldn't hang in there and got a refund on my ticket, along with other disasisfied watchers. I don't understand how an amazing cast of proven actresses can create such a boring film.
High Crimes (2002)
High Crimes
"High Crimes" isn't anything near magnificent, but it's great entertainment. The plot, though not always convincing, is very intriguing and kept my interest. The topnotch performances by Judd, Freeman and Caviezel add spice. And the comic relief by Freeman and Amanda Peet, who plays Judd's chain-smoking sister, keeps the film from taking itself too seriously.
Soundman (1998)
Solid Work
This was a solid film. Other than Blowout, can't remember very many other films dealing with a sound recordist. Very original look and strong character study on this type of person. I'm sure many of us out there have worked with guys like "Igyby".
