28 Weeks Later (2007)

Just great but 'scary' (spoiler end comment)

This was a great movie. Thats for sure. It was scary some times. Great scare effects. The movie starts at the time 28 days was going. So it starts when all virus is still active. It has a subtle intro and the boom the scare tactics begin. I was really shaking at the couch when 'the monsters' came in. The music was just right. Right music which gives the moment a great boost. The other I really loved about the film was the camera work. Sometimes it is black and white most is color. Also the way the camera work gets you the idea you're in the story. It looks like the camera is constantly walking as you would if you were there. STOP for spoiler... The only thing I found a bit unsatisfying was that the movie has no real end and there has to be an part 3 In France if you ask me.

By the way I was lucky to see the film as preview because no one has yet heard of in the Netherlands.

Dead Fish (2005)

This movie seems to aim at the same public as snatch would, but the movie doest't even come close to that.

When we started to watch the movie my girlfriend said in the first view minutes "bad movie". I like to stay a little more optimistic in these cases but in this case it was false. You can't really get a grip on the movie. It does't take you trough the story.

The worst is when the killer starts singing. I really was wondering WTF is going on now. Later on the killer again is talking about his love for the girl. Then I started feeling some sort of shame and hope he would't start singing again...

It is not the worst movie i have seen but it really is not what I expected.
