Possessed (2000 TV Movie)
oh dear
11 August 2001
Now i love horror films i love them all, the corny ones (house or evil dead 2)and the truly scary ones (nightmare on elmstreet)you get my drift.

Possessed or The Possession as it is known over here does not fit into any of these categories, we are following the story of Robbie in what is considered to be the one true account of a possession. It has all the makings of a good horror, ouija boards and talking puppets. But this film seems to be more about the church and their cover ups and parenting in the 50's.

No matter how hard i try, i cannot like the character of Robbie, at times i was actuality rooting for the Devil.

To summarise although they are some 'scary' bits i found the film a complete drag.

Flashback (1990)

feel good
8 July 2001
I have seen this movie a few times now and it has nothing to do with my attraction to Kiefer Sutherland (well maybe a little to start with!) The plotline is that Agent John Buckner a straight laced F.B.I agent has to get Huey Walker (Dennis Hopper) a hippie from the 60's who has been on the run for twenty years from San Francisco to Spokane, with disastrous Consequences. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, this film is about self discovery. With plot twists around every corner it makes for compulsive viewing for all ages, and leaves you with a good feeling at heart. If like me you are not a child of the sixties it makes you wish you had a time travel machine, if you were then you'll be dusting those flairs off! A classic old fashioned feel good movie.

Official Denial (1993 TV Movie)
fun
2 July 2001
Having seen this movie on t.v one late night, i still look back fondly. This movie should be seen as fun, not serious (it had me in stiches). Underneath the poorly designed alien DOS and the incredible hairless man, is a well thought out plot line with serious undertones. But it cannot be taken literally, without wishing to give away any of the plotline, watchout for the shoulder carrying moment. Full of cliches, laughs, fantasticly corny and for those who need more, a good plotline i recommend Official Denial.
