Boombastic! Binged 2 Seasons in 1 Weekend! :)
3 August 2021
This is a great blend of female & male relationships being explored. Like Insecure, Twenties, Girlfriends--the characters are well developed, have depth, a perfect blend of personalities and examines the question of love and friendship that makes you want more. Lovin' it! Congratulations Felischa Marye on 2 wonderful seasons and hopefully alot more :)

Positively Hilarious! Wow!

Congratulatins Lena Waithe! I'm fifty but lovin' the twenties characters! Reminiscent of days gone by with clever humorous writing with a twinge of common sense. It gives realism new meaning in television and a wonderful addition to BET, which I waited for this type of sitcom from them. PLEASE greenlight for at least 3 more seasons :) Kudos to excellent actors! And thank you for Vanessa & Rick!!! :)

Lovin' It! With Time, It Gets Better :)

I like the cast. The Judge is cool & finding her rhythm--love her husband (they should place him as a regular). I like the girl from the Flash and was happy she got this role! Overall, loving season 2 more than 1, but respectfully so because you had character development that was not always on point. However, the depth and fun of the characters now--esp the Judges--crack me up! The 2 DAs, the addition of Sterling's wife--Ryan Michelle--you just can't go wrong with her! And please keep the girl from Major Crimes--Kearran--she is doing fantastic! All of you keep up the good work and I wish you much success! Lovin' it! :)

Great Cast :)

I am a fan of Matt from the Good Wife--he has transitioned well into his new role. I have always loved Malcom Jamaal and Morris Chestnut's acting, so I was drawn to the show. Overall, your whole cast is super terrific and I do like how you tackle subjects in healthcare. The love stories are not as deep, but the non verbals are so tight and just right ;) Keep up the great work and wishing you guys much success. Likin' the show!

Quirky Funny & Worth A Second Shot! :)
28 February 2021
I find Mayim to be adorable. She is meant to be a little kookie with loving traits. I, too, did not like the pilot. But I watched 3 more episodes--while I do agree with some reviewers about the storylines & British humor removal-- I think Mayim has 5 good tenured cast mixed with 2 newer ones, so if we give it time, I think they'll do really good. Allow Kyla & Lamorne more funny. They are both comedic actors. One last suggestion, I think Mayim, Leslie & Kyla need a different wardrobe? I know they're characters are meant to have individualized style--I just think it can be better tailored to their characters personalities :) Wishing you all much success!!!

Sandra Was a Bad A** Woman with a Powerful Voice!
28 February 2021
I am moved by this body of work on Sandra Bland. Her life was not in vain, although I wish she were still here to use that brilliance. I discovered things I did not know. The documentary does present both sides-- no matter where you land on this verdict, the director strived to give the Sheriff & DA a chance to be heard. I, on the other hand, am thoroughly convinced that her death was not of her own volition. The evidence and the video was overwhelming and brought me to tears. My deepest sympathies to her family and thanks to all who participated in the movie. It is worth your time.

Clever, charming and comical! Awesome Film to Netflix & Chill
20 December 2020
Clever, charming and comical with a hint of dark comedy. The acting was superb. The storyline was excellent. There was a disconnect or not enough dialogue between the mother & main character. A few scenes seem to move forward without enough information. However, Larenz Tate delivers multifaceted performance and love the quality of the cinematography. Keep up the great work Tate Brothers! :)

Not Sure Title Should Be Woke, But Cancelled
27 September 2020
It's a humorous quirky show with good actors. It did throw in the kitchen sink of current culture issues and how one person is navigating them. The writers didn't create enough character development for him or the title to named Woke. But he definitely got Cancelled-- so that might have curbed expectations. Yet, it is clever and I love his imaginary animated "friend". Watch the entire series and bring some popcorn! :)
