The Outer Limits: Sandkings (1995)
Unbelivably Bad
This is a 2 part episode and the first of the series. The entire first episode could have been condensed into an 8 minute segment that would normally fit between commercials in an entire episode. The story line is ridiculously juvenile like the writing and unfortunately the acting. I like the Bridges - especially Lloyd, but they really got handed a serious stinker to recite. If it weren't for Beau & Lloyd this episode would be the worst one of the entire series, it's that bad. They are the only saving grace of this terrible episode of a good show.
Hacking the Afterlife (2021)
Easy to watch
If you like to watch documentaries about NDE's and the 'flipside' as they call it in this doc, this is worth a watch. The information given in this film cannot be verified as far as the enormity of this subject'. It is "THE' subject that relates to every single human being. There is also information in this film that is verifiable and they verify it in the film when speaking about personal experiences with other people. There are people - on old videotape - in this documentary from Hollywood, but most of them are not alive. You have to be able to watch mostly interesting interviews to appreciate the information within this documentary. He could have done a better job at finding a good place to interview the blond woman (who was a medium) who was in a loud, crowded restaurant a couple of times. Why that wasn't done is unknown because she was one of the most interesting people in the entire video.
Night Gallery: You Can Come Up Now, Mrs. Millikan/Smile, Please (1972)
Ozzie
I think that Ozzie Nelson may have been one of the best actors to ever grace the TV or silver screen. Why do I say that? Because his character on this show may very well be the most annoying, obtuse character I have ever witnessed. His part is written so poorly he has no other option than to play it how he did. This was so bad it's no wonder this show only lasted 3 seasons.
The Ray Bradbury Theater: Mars Is Heaven (1990)
Radio Show
This plot/story was first done on the radio show Dimension X in the 1940's and 50's and retold on other radio shows throughout the decades of the 50's and 60's.
The Wheel of Time (2021)
SLOOOOW
There is so much boring dialogue in this show it's unwatchable. Long, boring segments of paragraph after paragraph of inane chatter and very little action. Very little. The 4th episode is the worst so far with nothing but dialogue. Very slow, boring dialogue. From what I have read here on the reviews by other people the show doesn't even follow the books well. Made up characters etc. Oh but if you have Amazon Prime it's 'free' so - there's that to feel good about I guess.
Gunsmoke: No Indians (1956)
One of the best
One of the best episodes of the 2nd season. I love it when the bad guys get their 'just desserts, everyone does. Matt & Chester get into some wholesale slaughter of some very evil men and if you are like me you will find yourself cheering when the bad guys get theirs. Matt laments not being able to gun them all down.
Time Team (1994)
If you love archaelogy & English/Roman history...
This is the show to watch and it had to be a dream job for the professionals working on this show for 20 years. All the different sites they got to dig that would take most archaeologists several lifetimes to visit. Don't let Phil Harding's happy go lucky attitude fool you, he's as smart as anyone in his field, possibly smarter. Mick Aston is another incredibly knowledgeable part of the team and the team leader who got the shaft later in the series by Channel 4 causing him to quit when they brought in some spokeswoman former model - on an archaeology show, I don't blame him. There are several other professionals that are regulars on the show who are also very well versed in their fields of expertise and they occasionally bring in specialists like pottery or weapons specialists and an osteoarchaeologist on occasion. The end of one episode a man said he learned 3 things in the 3 days the Time Team was there and the 3rd and final thing he learned was Phil Harding could really put back the beer, which is hilarious and not surprising. He's my favorite person on the show, and he will be yours too. Almost the entire series is available on Amazon Prime video.
