The Searchers (1956)
Grand Classic Western
'The Searchers' opens with a sweeping shot of beautiful desert country cropped by the outline of a darkened doorway and ends with nearly the same shot, only better. The cinematography in this classic John Wayne western is of the best ever, matched equally by the story and acting. This is a movie that will stay with you.
Alright Already (1997)
Great Show
" Alright, Already " was every bit as good as " Seinfeld ". Carol Leifer was a riot. The stories were sharp and the cast was perfect. It's a shame it was canceled so early. I think it would have grown into a big hit like " Seinfeld " and " Cheers " did.
Seinfeld (1989)
ALL-TIME BEST SITCOM EVER
I could watch this show every time it comes on T.V. ( which is like 10 times a day ). Every episode is just perfect and can be re-watched so many times just because there is so many funny moments you can't absorb them all the first time. All the characters are great, not just the leads but the guest stars too. Elaine is my favorite, though. Great 10/10
Nothing But Trouble (1991)
Hilarious Tongue-In-Cheek Comedy
I Think This Is One Of The BEST Comedies Of The Nineties. It Has An ALL-STAR Cast Including Demi Moore, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, And John Candy Who All Draw A Bunch Of Laughs. It Is Very Campy And Sorta Reminds You Of The Early Nineties T.V. Show 'TALES FROM THE CRYPT'. Perhaps Too Slapstick For Some I Think It Is Worth a Watch (And Re-Watch).
Call Me (1988)
Fast-Paced Solid Thriller
This movie start out with Anna receiving a mysterious phone call that will eventually lead her into a world of intrigue, duplicity, and murder. This movie is very stylish and suspenseful. Patricia Charbonneau is a standout as the gutsy Anna.
Endangered Species (1982)
Well-Made Sci-Fi Film
Robert Urich and Jobeth Williams star in this fairly competant issue. Urich plays a single dad who while on vacation with his daughter starts to investigate a series of cattle mutilations. Good beginning and middle but ending could have been better.
Nadine (1987)
Funny low-scale caper
This energetic comedy is entertaining the moment the title appears on the screen. Set in a rural town a beautician witnesses a murder and then is expected of doing the killing. Now she must run from the killers and the cops. This movie is an instant classic. 10/10
Blackout (1985)
Creepy psychological thriller will keep you guessing
This movie starts off scary and never stops. Is he the killer? Or is he the killer ? Are they both maniacs? You don't know till the finale . Great acting by cast especially Quinlan .This should have been theatrically released .An absolute knockout.
You Belong to Me (2002)
no novelty but not that dissapointing
lesley anne down plays a psychologist interested in the dissapearences of middled aged women at a crossroad in their life. Surprise! Surprise! A serial killer who preys on women suddenly is interested in down herself . "YBLTM" offers very little in the originality department but the actors are aways believable and some are quite entertaining . Watch only if nothing better is on.
Impostor (2001)
pleasable sci-fi chase film
Gary Sinise is Spencer Olham. He has designed a new weapon to wipe out the alien force which the world is at war with. He and his beutiful wife have spent the weekend in the wilderness and now are returning home.Moments after he reaches his workplace he is apprehended by authorities. They suspect that an alien has killed the real Spencer Olham and has replaced him with an alien robot harboring a deadly bomb. Now Spencer must be killed. Well of course he manages to escape . The rest of the film follows spencer's desperate attempt to prove he is not what he is accused of being before they catch him . The movie is rather exciting allover and given its short running time it never overstays its welcome . The sets and effects are pretty gCT N.The ending is partially obvious but allover its worth a viewing.
