The Legend of Korra (2012–2014)
7/10
Ehhh
21 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Okay, I liked the first season of The Legend of Korra, because it was really interesting. It takes place with Korra meeting Mako, Bolin, and Asami and attempting to defeat Amon, the anti-bender who tries to get rid of everyones bending while Korra learns what it takes to be the avatar. Of course, Amon loses and is then flamed by his fans after being revealed to be a water bender this whole time, after being killed along side his brother Tarrlok. However, it didn't have that same ring anymore in Season 2. I just... Lost interest after Season 1. It just sits there on my Continue Watching on Netflix and I just can't bring myself to watch it, and I don't know why.

Bill Nye the Science Guy (1993–1998)

BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY
21 August 2021
Despite being born well after the show ended, I ended up discovering this masterpiece in my Science class in middle school. Bill Ney the Science Guy, as the show suggests, teaches kids about science and STEM academics. While also having a catchy theme, this show teaches kids from volcanoes and earthquakes to space and germs. Pretty amazing show not just for it's time, but also present time.

Vivo (I) (2021)
5/10
It was...okay.

Warning: Spoilers
I wouldn't say I hated this movie, but I didn't like it. The plot was quite predictable that like oh Vivo the monkey is going to get the song to Maria at the end, which didn't make me that interested in the movie. After the death of that street singer who was in love with Maria (I can't remember his name), I felt disinterested because I knew that Vivo the monkey is gonna embark on a special journey to give the song to Maria that he never got to, but then there was a not-really-surprising twist where Gabi came in. In the slightest clean way I can put this, Gabi was slightly... Irritating to me to say the least, and I can't exactly pinpoint why. It could be the hair, it could be the not-so-good singing, I just can't point the one major flaw I see in her character. On the bright side, the animation was really good and the character design is stunning, so I'll give credit where needed.

FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman (2006–2010)

Fabulously Entertaining TV with a Canine Host (better known as FETCH!)
20 August 2021
Despite growing up in the early 2010's, one day 7 year old me found a show in the back aisles of Netflix, covered in dust, on my Apple TV during the early developmental days of Netflix. Little did I know that this show was to leave a mark on my childhood forever, and I longed to be on the show, sadly not knowing that the show ended years prior upon rediscovering this masterpiece.

FETCH! Takes place with an animated dog known as Ruff Ruffman, who, in the animated world and with the help of Princess Blossom Von Yum Yum the cat and Chet the mouse, set up STEM academics for 6 contestants on the show. Being funded by the National Science Foundation, this show is educational and with hands-on experience teaches kids from the planets and Solar System to the inner workings of the beehive. I would highly recommend this show.

Only thing that makes PBS Kids good nowadays
20 August 2021
It's sad that PBS kids has changed a lot of the good shows over the years, and as someone who grew up on PBS kids, this is one of the few good shows left. Wild Kratts is a really good show and very educational, it takes place with Chris and Martin Kratts on adventures talking about animals. 10/10 with added points for nostaliga.

Nostalgic Movie Indeed
20 August 2021
Despite growing up in the late 2000s, I had this movie on DVD as a kid and would watch this movie non-stop as a kid. Sure, after watching the movie again the writing could use a bit of handiwork, but for a child it's the perfect movie. A magical sensation would arouse me as a kid when watching this on my portable DVD player, but good nostalgia.

An okay movie, to say the least.
20 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I just watched this movie with my younger sister on Netflix, as it was just released today after much begging from my sister, and the movie was... okay. The plot was very predictable, the songs weren't that good though, except for the one at the beginning with Lincoln Loud singing about wanting to be special, but I'll give credit where needed. The animation was pretty good, as expected from a Nickelodeon movie, but it was your typical movie, nothing too special. I think everything went downhill when they end up in Scotland, then everything becomes predictable and I didn't really need to watch the entire movie to predict that Margot gets defeated by Lincoln and his sisters after using dark magic and a magic crystal to control Lela the dragon and they fixed the town and lived happily ever after. Wouldn't recommend it, but wouldn't say its horrible, either.

Good show, growing up.

I LOVED this show as a kid. I want to point out that I love the diversity of the characters and don't limit it to just being white. I also want to note that it's pretty interesting to watch. I also liked the art style and mere comedy that was included in this. Though the animation itself may have flaws, I found it beautiful because, being a person of color, made me realize that women and people of color can be powerful at times.
