Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2012)
Not incredible, but not terrible
The show is very fun and very Disney Channel. It's about a slightly bratty princess who has to live on earth in order to not ruin her own kingdom. Well, here we go folks. After season two, it kind of falls apart. The show a has very good world building, and TOFFEE!!!! AHHH. He is a very well written villain, but the ending and many other characters, as well as the humor, and even the story itself falls downhill after the climax of season two. Would recommend, but know this isn't gonn be the next Avatar the Last Airbender.
Lego Elves: Secrets of Elvendale (2017)
Train wreck, but it still kind of works
You know those shows that suck, but you still need to watch them. This is one of those shows. It is just so bad, but I love it. The acting and expressions are hilarious but whenever they try to be deep or handle real character development, it feel awkward. Also when they try to make you feel bad for the villain, he just kind of comes off as a pouty crybaby with magical powers who enslaves people to get what he wants. His motives are okay, but he is just kind of annoying. Plus his little feel bad for me act with Naida is just bad. It lasts for like an episode, it isn't even reluctant later in the series. But it's the kind of trash I can enjoy once In a while.
Marvel Future Avengers (2017)
It sucks, but that's why I like it
Okay, the second I saw that they had turned marvel into an anime, I knew it would suck. I mean, come on, there is no way this could be good. The humor is fun, and the fact that it is so awkward and horrible just makes it so much better. But please, watch actual marvel, not this. It sucks and that's why I like it.
Shigatsu wa kimi no uso (2014)
Absolutely Amazing star crossed lovers
At first the starts out as a cute show about a boy who has a crush on his friends girlfriend, with small heavy moments that give this show just enough depth to make it fun to watch. The music is incredible, especially if you love violin and piano. Then it is slowly becoming more and more sad, the small heavy moment being larger, until the show is a heart breaking masterpiece. I Recommend you watch this, and it has amazing voice acting for English or Japanese, so enjoy either way. 10/10
The Last Airbender (2010)
What is this😡
What is this movie. No offense, but it sucks. The characters are all wrong, their personalities are wrong, none of them are the right ethnicity, and the plot... really bad movie. Like horrendous.
Kadokyaputa Sakura (1998)
Mixed Opinions About this show
This show is fun and cute. It shows the life a young girl named Sakura. She has the ability to use magical cards that have certain abilities like flight, fire, or creating flowers (some are stranger than others).
Honestly, it's nice for a kids show. But the show has two seasons. If you averaged, each season would be around 35 episodes, which is pretty long. But instead one is around 20 episodes, and the other is around 50.
The first season of this show is so incredibly boring. It is literally the same episode every single time, just with a different plot. She wakes up, she goes to school, something happens at school or when she's coming home from school. She finds out it's a clow card, she fights the clow card, the episode ends. It doesn't help that the first season is like 50 episodes long.
The second season is so much better. It has a more interesting and in depth plot, as well as better character relations and better characters in general. It has a more eerie vibe, and the fact that you don't exactly understand what's going on makes it so much more fun.
But most people won't get tot the second season because of the annoyingly long first season. All in all, it's a good show, but kinda annoying to get through. Also the English dub has a case of classic anime voice, and is a pain to sit through, please watch it in Japanese!
6/10
Angel Beats! (2010)
Amazing
Warning: Spoilers.
This is a show that I think is Immensely underrated. It has great graphics, a beautiful soundtrack, and a heart shattering story.
This takes place after the protagonist and all of the characters are already dead, so any time we see flash backs, it hurts extra when we know the inevitable outcome of the story.
It has quite a bit of blood, and a minor amount of swearing. The flashbacks might be the most graphic part of the series, but one of the most necessary things to watch. Many of the characters are likable, but once you get to know them and their life, it gets hard not to cry(bring tissues to watch the show).
When I saw Yuri's life, and how her siblings died, and all of the responsibility she carries for their deaths, or how good Iwasawa's life was or was going, and then I saw it cut short in an incident with her family, my heart broke a little.
By far though, the protagonist, Yuzuru Otanashi's death was the hardest. He doesn't care about his life, or any other people in it, except for his little sister. He plays with her, helps her through cancer, and you get to form a genuine bond with the character even though she is only on screen for a few minutes. Then she dies. So he becomes a medical student, trying to do something with his life, and trying to prevent other kids from the same fate. Immediately after getting a minor license though, his train crashes into a mountain side and is buried under rocks. You see him help others, and they all start fighting harder than they have fought before. He signs an organ donor card and dies mere seconds before the rest of the people are rescued. SECONDS!!
All in all, the writing is exceptional, and don't get me started on the Music! Amazing performance of My Song. The only complaint would be since they had to cut the series in half, the fact that there are like four plots in 12 episodes is a bit excessive. But an amazing anime, I definitely recommend and will be one of my favorites for a long time.
