Another Beautiful Turkish Series

This one is very good series. I really loved it ... because most turkish series will be too much tragedy . But this one have lot of feel good moments and also Happy ending ... the lead actors both give a solid performance and also they look cool as couple .

Although sometimes the negative characters go overboard which is for drama purposes . But still it is enjoyable to watch this series Also this series avoids too much of jealousy scenes and couple swap due to misunderstanding and other traditional tv series cliche.. It stays with a family storyline and the romance is well portrayed .although there are lot of heartbreak scenes it still remain as romantic . Thats why its nice to watch .. because most turkish series are filled with heartbreak and tragedies .. this is a feel good series.

The Longest Week (2014)

What a terrible ending

It had all the ingredients to be a great film but screwed by the climax ... the lead protagonist realise his mistake and change his lifestyle but the lead heroine is unaware or ignoring and marrying another guy is just melodrama to the worst...

it was the worst form of heartbreak for all romantics , what was the director thinking if he doesnt give a happy ending the film will be unique and different ? But he ended up screwing a great premise .. everone wants conrad and beatrice to end together . The director must be a depressed soul and guilty soul thinking that love is wrong ...

it hurts when they end a good romance such a bad way . I want to give one star but gave 3 star just for the premise ..

The Innocents (2020–2022)

Greatest series ever produced

This is by far one of the greatest series ever produced. I am blown away by the depth of storytelling the Turkish writers delve into. To create a series where the 3 main protagonists are psychologically affected without any compromising about their conditions and to make it watchable is herculean achievement ... I am still in awe that how they made such an extraordinary series ...

Another great thing is the casting. Everyone gives an Oscar worthy performance.

5 performances worth mentioning here.

1. Ezgi mola as Safiye gives the best performance. It is worth 10 Oscars. And she has done it so effortlessly. When I say Meryl Streep can take some lessons from her on acting, I am not exaggerating.

2. Merve Dizdar as Gulben is also an equally good performance.

3. Birkan sokullu as Han is the main protagonist and gives a solid performance. He carried his character with all its flaws with great elegance.

4. Metin Coskun as Hikmet Derenoglu is such a cute character and comic relief and also at times very sentimental. I wonder how they created such an extraordinary character. Just to watch his scenes I will watch again this series.

5. Acelya Devrim Yilhan as Hasibe Derenoglu is actually like an antagonist to this series. But her character is actually a product of Safiye's hallucination. Although we have to hate this character as it is so evil but the performance of Acelya is simply superb. Another great character creation.

Farah Zeynep Abdullah as Inci does justice to her role but she has very little screen space compared to other main characters. This may be the reason she might have left the series after the first season.

Aslihan Gurbuz as Ceylan fills the void created by Inci so well and her character depiction is more empathetic than Inci to the Derenoglu family.

Watch this series if you are willing to learn about psychological problems faced by misfits in our society and having an open mind to learn, because this series goes very deep into a lot of emotion. Kudos to the writers, directors and actors of this series and music director. Thanks for this great feast for our intelligence.

Bir Ask Hikayesi (2013–2014)

Very good series but poor ending

It would have been one of my all time favourite series . If they had given a happy ending and avoided too much tragic scenes in the later part of the series ,,, But for some 10 episodes this was such a great series . The director should be sadist to have such a tragic later parts and such a sad climax,,,, i can accept tolga death but korkut ali doest deserved to die ...

my favorite is the lead actors damla sonmaz and.seckim ozdemir pairing and their acting especialy damla . She looks like a teenager but acting wise she performed like a legend ,,, such an angelic beauty and what a character and how good she performed ..all others did their part well .....

it would have been a great series if they have given happy ending to korkut ali and ceylan,,,

Waste of Time

This film is labelled as Romantic comedy , but it does not have romance or comedy .... I wonder why hollywood find writers without brain . They have all the money and great star cast but could not find a decent story or screenplay for 2 hrs movie with excitement and without boring ...

They need to learn something from Turkish series writers who could write for 100 hrs romance series interesting every minute..of the series .....

the only saving grace is the cast which is good ... it could have been better if they had a good screenplay and story ... how come they make these kind of tasteless romantic films do they even watch it and felt how boring and average it was ,,, OMG what a waste of time.

Pretty Little Liars (2015)

Good series but huge dissappoint in the end.

The series was so good for 10 episodes but the last 3 episodes has no relation to the first 10 episodes...

The main protagonist character was abruptly ended in the 10th episode .. the way they ended his character has no meaning to the way her portrayed until then.. Maybe the actor wanted to exit the show and they decided to give a new storyline thats why the remaining 3 episode go without any direction.

Watching this series was like going in super car enjoyable ride and suddenly towards the end one of the tyre breaks from the car and the car goes directless and felll into some debris .. thats how it ended ...

when you cant give a happy ending to the lead protagonist and the beautiful love that is there it hurts ,,,, Huge dissappointing ending but we can watch the first 10 episodes .

Kuzgun (2019)

Best message - hate and revenge takes peace

This is one of the best turkish series ,brilliant acting by all actors ,extraordinary screenplay and good happy ending for all characters/

Both the protaganists have given excellent performances,especially baris arduc as kuzgun fits his role so well. His swag,casual demeanour ,fearless attitude fit him perfectly well . Also in emotional scenes he does a good job..

burcu as dila is another great performance . She looks like she lived this character ,so much dedication. U could see her make up and facial expressions in every scenario matching to that scene.. Especially when she is going through struggling period u can see she looks like a person suffering ... Her thin body suits this well

one of the best turkish series ...

You Like (2022)

ONE OF THE BEST FEEL GOOD ROMANTIC COMEDY SERIES

This is one of the best romantic turkish series i watched in recent times with very little heartbreak and jealous scenes... because most of the series has both heartbreak and unneccesary jealous scenes..

also they gave with happy ending.

The lead pair ilayada alisan and burak yoruk both of them my favourite and both are so cute together ... ilayada cuteness and good acting is enough for watching this series, one scene in particular stays with me forever that is the beggining of 12th episode when ilayada confess her love for burak in to her dads grave , it was such a poetic scene.. also we get lot of feel good moments ....

Sahane Damat (2016)

A FEEL GOOD ROMANTIC COMEDY ..

I love these kind of Romantic comedy where the lead protagonists have lot of feel good moments and have a happy ending... Because lot of turkish series either they will break the heart and always keep the protagonists pair seperated for most part and finally gives a happy ending or even a tragic ending which make my heart ache a lot ... But this is short and sweet romantic comedy.

Another reason why i like this series is because of my favourite heroine burcu ozberk. She fits perfectly well in romantic comedy and wonderful performer in both romance and comedy.. Her cuteness is the biggest strength of this series ..

Although there are some dull moments just to watch the cuteness of lead pair is good enough for this series...

12 Dates of Christmas (2011 TV Movie)

one of the excellent feel good movie

This is a very good movie , good acting . The film was never bore for even a second and it ran like a race car at highest miles per hour , despite being a romantic film... thats great achievement for the director and screenplay writer... Amy is just awesome as kate such an effortless acting she is cute ,funny,beautiful and does given an excellent performance ..... i think amy is one of the most underrated actress in hollywood , she never got roles like this often .. thats why i hate hollywood filmakers , they always cast the tried and bored age old once successful actress rather than giving chance to other talented actors....

All other actors played their part well in this movie.

Pls watch this if you like movies like serendipity,pretty women ,notting hill etc, you would like this feel good romantic comedy ...

Hayaller ve Hayatlar (2022)

A Great Disappointment

This series is classic example of no matter how many good actors you have if the story and screenplay is bad then it will pathetic . Even all great actors cant save this irritating series.

Özge Gürel, Aybüke Pusat, Melisa Pamuk, all their talents are wasted in this aimless plot and boring screenplay,, At somepoint after 12 episodes i cant even watch it was so irritating .. the love track between digle and sergan is the worst and so is.emre and setany .. even the.alas gunes love story also falls flat .. non of the pair had any chemistry with each other idont know who to blame the actors or the story.. whatever a great promising series lost tract by a weak storyline and screenplay,,,

Canevim (2019)

poor screenplay and irritating ending ...

Omer loves ceylan sincerly and so does ceylan .. But ceylan has too much pride and vanity and does not fully trust omer ... her pride, vanity and lack of trust led her to commit lot of mistakes even when omer and others tries so hard to make her believe the mistakes she does but still she does more mistakes and she ends in hell and loves a man who creates her all problem... In a way she deserves it ...

Omer realises his effort to help ceylan realise her mistake is in vain and when she fall in love for the wrong man his heart completly broken he gives up his hope in his love , but makes ceylan realise her mistake . And leaves Even in the end when realising all the mistakes her pride does not allow her to apologize to omer whose heart she broke into pieces..

i hate the character ceylan so much .... and loved the character omer so much

as omer says to ceylan :"you doesnt deserve me ..." its true ceylan doesnt deserve omer.

Thus a tragic ending and messy screenplay..

the writers should have given some positive to the character of ceylan like she realising her mistakes and somehow both ceylan and omer ending together . Also she throwing omer out of heart and falling in love with the most despicable man should have avoided , Instead they should have shown that she believes the tricks of tailan and falls for it and marries him but still loves omer little bit and when realising her mistake evetually both ceylan and omer end together would been better...

maybe the writers would have thought that its what most series does and lets give a new ending and ruined the entire series.....

Yalanci Bahar (2011)

breaking heart of viewers ,

Turkish story writers has this problem of breaking viewers heart and making the protaganist life miserable,

to me what zeynep did is unforgiveble ..to fall in love with someone when u r in love with another and then jail the one you who loved her so much and even when the guy returns spending 10 yrs in prison she has no feeling for him . She is so selfish and her total devotion to mehmet irritates me, she cannot understand selims love for her . Despite backstabbing selim she has not even having guilt and all she cares was mehmet and her life

zeynep is one of my most hated lead female protaganist character .. The writers should atleast given her character some feeling for selim

selim in desperation because he spend time in jail and his hate and anger leads him to take revenge and to which he commits a lot of mistake.

I wish the writers shown him more positively in later parts ...

if tragic ending is what they wanted still they could have done it better as it touches our heart like e.g if both of them dead or if zeynep had some feeling for him. Instead even on his death she was not even willing to hug console or put him in her lap..

if you show both lead characters so negative and with so many flaws and give a very tragic ending it breaks viewers heart ... i dont know why some turkish writers do this .

Thittam Irandu (2021)

A Entertaining thriller with a social message .

This is Vignesh karthik Masterpiece, well supported by Aishwarya rajesh acting . The film has lots of twist and turns and it is not even possible to get any clue or guess of whats next . It here Vignesh Karthik deserves an applause..Aishwarya is like little lady superstar and so cute and beautiful... watch it you will love the film.; if u dont support films like these you will get more crappy kollywood thriller like kanchana and Aranmanai....

I am really amazed by the mexican telenovelas , this is one such my most fav one... the story and the way the screenplay is created is just awesome... fernanda colunga gives a performance of lifetime . His character is one of the most beautifully developed character ever and he gave life to it .Susana gonzales as julio is just so beautiful , her character is complex character , her ignorance and good nature is mixed with pride,vanity ,guilt ,fear and being manipulated by her father . Julio loves arthuro but marries eladio and being indifferent to him eladio loves julio so much but her indifference drives him crazy and become overprotective and abusive husband and also commits infidelity. Arturo being saturated with his marriage life and once a lover of julio chases julio who because of her indifference to her huband and her husband protectiveness still looking for happiness reciprocates arturo advances.. but its a forbidden love . Julio realises her indifference is driving her husband crazy and finally decides to give eladio a chance . Eladio also changes his attitude slowly his craziness and becomes a very good man which leads to julio fall in love with eladio , and both startedto live happily for some time. But eladio past mistakes haunts him back and arturo uses all tricks to seperate eladio and julio which eventually leads to divorce...

now a confused julio has to choose between eladio and arturo .... and the ending is perfect with eladio and julio get together after all problems..

i just love this story and all emotional scenes beautifully acted by all actors , especially the sentiment scenes between julio and eladio , both these roles are suits perfectly for fernando colunga and susana gonzales and they have given wonderful perfomance.....

fernando colunga is like one man army his suave,charm. Energy and screen presence is what makes this series such a awesome experience to watch one scene in particular around 40th episode when both families attend a dinner which is crashed by fernando colunga . Its my fav scene .. Susana is so beautiful and portrays lot of emotion to a complex character ...she has done awesome job... i dont understand why jorge salinas name is first in title , he is like a two faced villain and his character is so corrupted ,in contrast fernando collunga character despite his mistakes is honest .

Road to Destiny (2016)

Very good one but the way the last 10 episodes were made was very poor

Another very good telenovelas by mexicans ... i love the way they make these family dramas. solid performance by jorge aravane ..Also lisette morales does a very good performance as a embittered girl left by her lover and to live with another one. her character should have been given more weightage by the directors in the last few episodes ... instead they focused more on paulina gato and Rene strickler ... it did not gel well .especially Rene strickler gets sudden change of heart and she forgiving him . I would have preferred ana patricia roja had change of heart and forgiven .thats why the last few episodes i hated so much...luisa fernanda can forgive luis montero but luis montero character doesnt deserve to be accepted as dad. thats where they missed the plot...

Whatever a film is you need a relief in climax .. only than people will get satisfaction. there is no explanation or twist or suspense instead lot of confusion ... the director knows the art of horror film making but he needs a story and suspense to keep people engaged ... simply having optics wont work.... .

i felt like a guy wasted 2 hrs for nothing ......the only good thing is Sara Paxton has done a very good performance .she saves the film in not becoming a disaster .

El Cuerpo del Deseo (2005– )

One of the best telenovelas i have seen.

This is such a beautifully made romantic drama and enjoyed it ... some of the scenes are pictured with so much emotion and poetic.... i love lorena rojas for her amazing performance(especially in romance and sentiment scenes) and her cuteness.. during her death scene in this film i was crying and when i heard in real life also she passed away at such young age ,i felt sad.. mario cimarro was the coolest actor perfect for the role .....Diana Osorio as valeria is so beautiful. watch it if you love sensitive love stories...with supernatural fantasy

Dark Desire (2020–2022)

The best i watched in 2020

Although initially wanted to see it for its steamy scenes but very soon got involved with the story and boy it is definitely worth the watch...there are some dull moments midway .. but the last five episodes are awesome..

Maite perroni steamy scenes are very beautifully shot and she is just super hot ..if you are fan of plot driven erotic scenes this will not dissappoint you. .Erik hayser gets the meaty part for acting and delivers best performance.. all others did their part well ... watch it in your free time u will love it...
