Napoleon Dynamite (2004)

Extremely overrated

This movie is highly overrated by everyone who claims it is such a funny movie. That fact is...it really is not all that funny. Sure, the movie has its moments, but I guarantee you that all the quotes you keep hearing from people are said in a very unfunny way in the movie itself. The characters are very drone and while yes, they are meant to be that way, that along with the lack of a solid plot line makes the movie just tiresome and boring.

Basically, you have to be part of a very small group of people to like this movie. If you go into it hating it...you will leave hating it, and the same applies if you go into it expecting to see the funniest movie ever because you will be highly disappointed.

Gigli (2003)

Can anyone locate a plot for this movie? I won't bother spoiling anything for you because wel...there isn't anything to spoil. Absolutely nothing happens in this movie! Thank god I only watched it with my friends as a joke to add to a school project.

Let's just say there are a lot of lines that bring this movie down a lot. I'm sure all the late night hosts have already summed these up in one way or another. I was lost after the first ten minutes, and it's hard to get through the first five! My advice to you is...if you want to see a movie that is at least remotely watchable...AVOID this one. For the love of God!!

Zombie (1979)

Good, not great

I too, agree that this movie was way overrated. It is a gory movie...but you have to get through the long and boring buildup of the story around the zombies first. The movie starts out good, but then slows waaaaaayyyy down, to the point where I fell asleep during it. However, the last 45 minutes of the film are worth buying it alone. Still, 45 minutes out of a 90 minute movie leaves almost half of it extremely boring. My advice is: buy it if you are a collector of horror movies, because this one is worth it, but avoid it if you are only a casual horror movie person.

Lilo & Stitch (2002)

Good fun for all

I was skeptical of the movie at first, but I actually found that it even I enjoy it, and I'm a 16 year old guy who mostly likes action movies and odd humor. This movie fits right in as it has a lot of good lines and actions that will make you burst out laughing.

Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1990–2000)

Good, but not great

This was nice that they revived the show, but these episodes were not the same compared to the older ones that aired from 1992 to 1996. The stories are good if you can get used to the new cast, but I still think the older stories were more original and a lot more creepier.

The Mystery Science Theater 3000 version of this movie is great. So many things wrong with this movie, like what exactly was the plot? Does anybody really know. Anyway, I really don't think it lived up to Lenard Multon's 2 1/2 stars.
