Diggstown (2019)
Real, Human and very Current
The writing and production of Season 3 has really stepped it up!! It is very well done!!
As my heading says, it's very current on its Canadian content.....with real issues, with real people.
I am really enjoying it!!
Diggstown: Nina Francis (2021)
WELL DONE!!
Right out the gate with its opening monologue and the COVID-19 pandemic as the subject for Season 3's Episode 1 - nailed it!!
I thought it was handled perfectly....very well written....capturing how this virus has affected us emotionally, socially and physically. Funnelling down to a bottom line that we're all so doing our best 👍🏻🇨🇦
The Firm (2012)
BRING THIS SERIES BACK!!
We're in a pandemic.....we're isolated with our tv's.....and we look for something good.....great if we're lucky......and I found one....this one.... I loved it!
This was a perfect series.....it had a great plot, great acting/cast and a perfect cliff hanger!! Why was this show cut? It deserves to be back!
The Irregulars (2021)
Intrigued to see another Season!
I see the other reviews saying "it's not Sherlock" or "it's not Watson"....but no biggie as every Sherlock series or movie is someone different. So down to the story the script and the acting....all of which I thought was excellent.
So I await a second season....although I can't fathom where it goes from that ending without, well.....you know who!!?
The Good Doctor (2017)
It's not what it started out as.
This season of The Good Doctor is going downhill and is not as engaging. I did like how it began with the pandemic....I thought those episodes were well done.
The show had originally started with great story lines and production that focused on how his brain figured out solutions. It was very interesting and unique. I found it fascinating! Now, even with good acting (I do applaud Freddie Highmore as Dr. Murphy), it's just another hospital drama focused more on relationships......it's disappointing. Anyway, like I said, not what it started out as.
