Bridgerton (2020– )

Overrated, Cliched and Pretentious!!

This series could have been a 2-hour long movie. All the episodes seem to be a repititive and same plot of people attending some fancy party organised by one of the rich society member.

The over-the-top high society act of the bygone ages fails to keep the audience on the hook for more than 2-3 episodes.

Why do they have to show such fairytale story kind of series which shows nothing more than cliched and pretentious society. Does not have any thrill, and so much predictive storyline with you already predicting who would pair with whom. Eventually!!

Though it gets interesting somewhere inbetween but overall just a repititive match-making fairytale story with just the candidates changing.

Boat Story (2023)

Good buildup leading to terrible ending

Too much disappointment!

This is the kind of series which builds up a great plot and character development just to dissappoint the audience with a terrible ending. All that story buildup and thrill created was vain. It could have been a 1-hour movie for there is no worth of character development if you want to leave the audience hanging and have no logical ending.

BTW I understand that the message of the story was that people are obsessed with logical endings but real life is not like that. Though true, but that is why we want a good movie or series for logical endings and entertainment, and specially a Good story is what audience is looking for!

Also I do not understand what was the purpose of shifting the series from a drug-deal-money-heist thriller to a psycho-killer story.

The only reason to not give 1 or 2 star is the few good episode and a good story build up.

It had so much potential but wasted all of it!

Talk to Me (I) (2022)

Good concept. Poorly executed.

The concept had me in the first place when I saw the reviews. I was so sure this will be the horror film that I had been craving for so long. But When I saw it, it got me really disappointed. Wanted to give it 1-star due to this disappointment but kept my emotions aside to rate it 4.

I am not sure why did it got so much high ratings from critics and audience. I mean has the horror standard and expectations fallen so low that people rate this 7 or 8? I was left with wanting for more in terms of story.

Acting was good but the story was poorly written. It could have been a short film of 20 mins instead. I am really disappointed by the execution of such a great concept. It had a potential of being one of those rare horror films which you want to see again and again. But the efforts by directors are not made.

The Kerala Story (2023)

One of the best movies in recent times.

MUST WATCH! 10/10.

I am NOT any ideology or party/AGENDA supporter, but I must say this is one of the best movies I have seen in recent times. It shows a very detailed situation of terrorism and it's strategic planning not only in war but in the terms of soft war and brainwashing people. Irrespective of the controversy whether the cases are 32000 or 3, one must understand that even if the case is only ONE still this is what the terrorist have agenda.

Besides the message I must say the acting is done very well by the characters. You will not be bored in the entire duration of the movie. Whether or not you think of this as agenda or truth do watch for the actors and storyline.

The Night Manager (2016–2025)

Fantastic, superb, amazing!!!

Not a dull moment, not an avoidable scene, not a filler or obvious conversation in the show. Everything was right in place. Where it should be. From the acting to the directing. And what I like about British shows: they are ON REAL locations, or as close they can. The blond Tom Hidleston and was glad to: he's so underrated. The plan to get Roper at the end was brilliant, but also tricky while,they were so many things based on luck and outside help. This show is one of a kind, and I guess while the last episode stays open to new adventures: we aren't be lucky to have a second year, are we? Just amazing!!!

The Menu (2022)

Headless (storyless) chicken going nowhere

With no story, no background or no plot or twist, this story is just stretched torture of the 2 hours of time waste. No thrill, no suspense or no twist. This is one of the worst movies that i had seen ever. Theacting felt so bad. No logic in the story. And why would the customers at the restaurant chosen for the part of this journey? No explanation, no proper ending. This is one of the most failed movie ever created in the history of the cinema. I do not understand if there is any reason or rigged voting to give this movie such a high rating on this platform. But i would have given it zero if that was possible.

Monica, O My Darling (2022)

Must watch! Rajkumar Rao saved Bollywood again!!

It has been a long time since i enjoyed any Bollywood movie. This is one of those rare gems which may not have been on publicity spree or big budgets but a true-gem movie. You wil be on your toes for the nail-biting suspense with so many twists in the movie. As always Rajkumar Rao was fantabulous in his acting. In fact every character n actor was amazing. Surprisingly I liked Radhika apte's acting too!

The story was interesting with no loose ends and lot of thrill and suspense. The ocassional humor adds the cherry on the cake.

The old song (title of movie), the music and few different style of songs add a good touch throughout the movie.

I am giving it 10/10 and hope that Bollywood make more such films!

The Immaculate Room (2022)

Amazing movie n main actor is like me!

Though so many negative reviews n low ratings, but i personally wanted to give this movie a 10-stars.

The main actor echoes my personality- vegan, artistic, caring, happy living outside n storing a storm inside, caring more for life and experience mmore than money.

Now coming to the part of movie, though many people say its slow n boring, but I enjoyed it a lot. Not always fast paced n action sequences packed movies are good. Sometimes these kind of artistic n beautiful movies need admiration as well. It forces us to look and judge our inner selves.

I am very happy that I found this less heard gem movie!

Samrat Prithviraj (2022)

Distorted many facts and felt like normal Bollywood love movie instead of historical

Too much distorted facts and scenes/incident. Specially the way ending is shown or the way the mughal king's death in ending is shown. Also too much of feminism preaching. Irrelevant to the movie.

The Voyeurs (2021)

Hidden gem... Unexpected twists n turns..

Woahh.. this movie is a hidden gem with unexpected storyline not clearly visible from the title only. The amount of thrill, twists, and eroticism is just in very right balance.

It gives a perfect blend of suspense and thrill with so different ending than one anticipate during the movie.

I would recommend it to must watch and do not listen to bad reviews.

Cruella (2021)

Much better than expected

I was having so much low expectations with this movie. But it turned out to be so much amazing and outstanding... Really beautiful movie... Bring out all the nostalgic childhood memories of the cartoon series. Good to see the early story of the amazing character - Cruella De'vil.. ! Hats off to the makers!

Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

Weak story... Good Visuals

I felt too much unconnected storyline going on in parallel with no reference or details.. and jumping between them abruptly. Visual and scenes are too good.. but not the story.
