Visually appealing movie
4 January 2022
This film was not my favorite. I hated how Incredibly glorified they made Europe look, and how Élio (Timothee Chalamet) was quite an unrealistic teenager. I found Élio rather annoying at times, but maybe that's just me. The acting is quite good, and it definitely gets the message across however. Worth a watch!

An Easy Movie
4 January 2022
I'm pretty sure that the writer was attempting to make this a more meaningful than it came across, coming of age story. However, it came across as a fairly light and airy movie. This isn't a bad thing, but for the type of movie it is, it didn't help it's case. One thing that should've been changed, was the age of the main character. I think he should've been closer in age to his friends, because it's very strange how they accept him being so much younger, and it generally looks odd. Although, it is fairly sweet as a whole, and I recommend it if you like movies set in the 90s with lots of skateboarding.

It's film is very quirky and cute. I love the relationship between the two main characters, and I find it very sweet. The acting is very very good, especially Micheal Cera was excellent. This movie is worth a watch!

Not bad

Overall, this is a very artsy movie with a unique vibe. It has an interesting plot and main character, and it does have some vague elements of caring for others, and watching others succeed. But, the acting is... strange. It feels disconnected and it hard to understand what's going on at quite a few moments because of the dialogue. Good for if you want a taste of very artistic movies of the 90s.

Amazing film

Boogie Nights is the most complete and satisfying movie I've ever watched. It doesn't leave you wanting more, and overall the plot is flawless. The acting is impeccable, especially from Mark Wahlberg. Even though the topic is very X rated, they somehow managed to maintain innocence and sweetness throughout the movie. It's very touching, and an important movie to see. Highly recommend!

Very poorly done

Overall, it's extremely cliche and predictable with mediocre acting and flimsy storylines. It is clearly somewhat trying to copy the Fifty Shades series, but failing to do so. Just not original at all.

Beautiful film

Such a tender and warm movie that is hard to not adore. It has such a nostalgic feel, and has that wonderfully carefree vibe. It is a very well done representation of boys that at age, and at that time. Maybe also because it was very well cast. I think everyone should see it at some point in their lives.

Very cute show

Extremely likeable characters. Cute storylines, and I find that there's a certain warmth to the show which you often don't find in shows anymore. Anyways, very good!
