I don't think I have loved a kdrama more
I don't think I have ever loved a k-drama more than I love this one. It gives amazing insight into what it is like to suffer from high-function autism in a world of neurotypicals. Addressing the issue of lack of awareness of the disorder and how the world can see it and not the person. The main character is sweet, bubbly and kindhearted, watching her navigate autistic challenges and grow as a person is so heartwarming. However the level of growth and character development of the people around her is amazing, as they become more patient and understanding, they stop seeing her as her disorder but as her true self. The pacing of this drama is perfect, keeping you entertaining and hooked on the storylines, also I am a big fan of the animations used and the cut-off scenes.

beauty is in the eyes of the beholder
This K-drama explores how people who aren't conventionally good-looking can be bullied, however also deals with the other side of the coin, how conventionally good-looking people are also not treated like humans. The issue of living in such a shallow society effect others' self-worth. This k-drama shows the viewer how beauty is subjective to each individual, and how it can be found in someone's actions and personality. Beauty is not surface deep and some of the most beautiful people can be overlooked.
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
This movie has become one of my all-time favourite movies. I deem it a must-watch!
It is long however, unlike many other movies, there are no parts I could pick to cut out. It keeps a brilliant balance between sci-fi/fantasy and being grounded in reality. Exploring the complex challenges of being an immigrant, family dynamics and that show kindness is not a weakness. The acting from all the actors is phenomenal, and trust me, these characters are no easy feat to achieve, yet these talented actors flowed through the roles, never making the illusion feel broken or disjointed. They take you through a roller coaster of emotions, making you want to cry, laugh, and re-evaluate your view on life in just the 2 hours it's on-screen. It is truly one of the most original, genuinely moving, and profoundly deep movies I have seen in a long time.

Strong Start, little fall on ending, amazing acting from Korean Actors...not so much English
Let's start with the Korean drama that took the world by storm in 2021. I enjoyed this Korean drama, along with many others. However, I felt like it fell flat in the last few episodes. It comments on social status, financial status, and how humans treat one another are hard-hitting. The idea there are people in such financial struggle they would risk their and other people's lives is heart-breaking, yet eye-opening. The incorporation of well-known children's games is a great device used by the creator to connect the audience to the characters. Reminding them of their childhood but also understanding the stress and difficulties of playing these games with such high stakes. I will say the poor acting from the English actors did break the illusion for me, and also ended, which I will not share with those of you that are yet to watch. If you are not a fan of horror and gore I do not recommend this K-Drama for you, another wise I think it's a brilliant watch, but 100% watch in Korean with Subs...Dub is not good.
