John Fogerty: Premonition Concert (1998)
Fogerty is back need i say more, buy this now!!!
The long await return of John Fogerty is here and it couldn't have been better. To put it simply this concert rocks but o no it doesn't leave out the roll that all bands now and days do. He plays all the old credence hits from proud mary to fortunate son. He also plays some realtively new materail from blue moon swamp. When he played joy of my life and dedacadet it to his wife im proud to say i almost broke out in tears hearing that song. Another great performance was centerfield, he came out with that baseball bat guitar..... that rocked. Then when u hear those opening cords man the crowd went crazy. Also knowing this is a concert the sound rocked it the best when its on dvd. you can really hear the feedback when he plays susie q. I don't no what else i can say i mean if you like music from the 60's or are a rock and roll fan this for you.........i gave it.................10 out of 10
Road to Perdition (2002)
Great Ganstar Movie and All Around
To put it simply this is a great movie it has superb acting and an awesome story. The characters are also very well devolped. For example Mike Sulivan even though he is a hitman and is probally giong to hell you still fell that there is some good in him and that he is not the horrible person who he is made out to be. If there is one thing i think could have been better it was the ending. Its a great ending no doubt about it, but i just wanted to see Tom Hanks go up to that cottage and pull out a tommy gun light a cigar and waste every living thing inside of it. Last the acting deserve a whole lot of credit. Tom hanks is awesome like always, Paul Newman makes a perfect crime boss, and Jude Law is a perfect deranged killer. in all this was a great gangster movie that had oscar stamped all over it since the first scence. In all i gave it a........... 9 out of ten
The Newton Boys (1998)
A Solid Movie
Why does everyone think this is a bad movie?? I thought the story was great and so was the acting. I like Matthew McConaughy and thought he did a great job with this movie. I also thought at times this movie was quite funny like when hes blowing the safe and blows up the whole bank. And i also think the setting of the movie is very well done. I like alot of movies around this era. And this and O Brother where art thou? top some of the movies set in the twenties thrities.. I give it eight out of ten stars...
