Kya Kehna (2000)
Strongness of Indian woman in an excellent appreciable manner
From the very beginning of my life, we were told that the males are stronger than females. But after seeing this movies this illusion of my mind is being cleared. The character Priya falls in love with a guy Rahul. She loves her from the bottom of her heart but the Rahul just plays with her innocence. When she involves with Rahul she was just a young girl. But when she got to know that she was pregnant and the society, her parents & all of the above Rahul is not going to accept that child she takes the decision to earn for herself and for her baby. This was the turning point of her life. This is the real courage I am impressed with. No one of us has this kind of courage to accept our own mistakes like this, that it doesn't look like a mistake, but sets a great example for the society. Because all of the above society, Parents and all the human creatures there is god who is in your heart. You do right or wrong just be true to yourself and he(God) will accept you in every manner.
Aradhana (1969)
Aradhna nothing before or nothing beyond it.
What kind of sacrifices an Indian woman gives in her day to day life ShaktiDa has showed it in an excellent form and to complement his directorial greatness Sharmilaji has performed out of the league. She has left all of her colleagues and critics beyond by doing this role. In the initial part of the movie she was just a 19year old beautiful young girl of a small town. Like every other young girl of her age she was also a great day-dreamer her self, but with the passage of time within a couple of months she bravely acted as an complete woman. I don't think that anyone else can sacrifice his/her life only to complete there lovers/partners dream. Her eyes, anyone after seeing the movie wish her to be there lover/wife/mother/daughter. This movie depicts that up to what extent an Indian girl would to fulfill's others dream/wish. I personally knows someone like Vandhana, but can't tell you about her.
