The best.
17 February 2023
This is the best live performance to exist. The reason for this is simple, it's such a heartfelt, raw and emotional performance from Fishmans! Have you ever wondered what those emotions inside of you in your most devastating moments in life would musically sound like? Well, this is it. The video perfectly suits the vibe of this concert. Also interestingly it looks like you are underwater in the video, making it feel like these truly are "fishmen" performing. There arguably best album "long season" is the final track in this performance and it is the most heart-renching piece of live music to ever exist. How do you perfect a 50 minute track live? Who knows, all I know is Fishmans did it. They made the perfect closer to accumulate pretty much there entire careers meaning into one track. I don't know how I discovered this video/live album but if I found out who helped me discover this I would thank that person from the bottom of my heart. This is it, humanities peak.

Yes, yes, yes

Warning: Spoilers
Bocchi the rock has now finished, and what a journey it has been. This series started out with a simple concept. How do you form a band and how does it become successful? We follow our protagonist bocchi in her journey to form Kessoku Band and try to show the world her talent. This is not to say that the other characters aren't unique in there own way: Seiko Ijichi is the manager of the live house STARRY in which the band often practices and performs. She is the older sister of Nijika Ijichi who is one of the band members. She is the group leader and plays the drums. Other band members are Hitori Gotoh otherwise know as Bocchi-chan who is our introverted protagonist. She is the lead guitarist and is also responsible for making the bands song lyrics. Then there is Ryo Yamada. Ryo is the bassist and is a major factor for making the music. Last but not least we have the extraverted Ikuyo Kita who is another guitarist and also makes vocals for the band. What a fantastic show, I can't wait for season 2!

Bocchi the Rock!: Morning Light Falls on You (2022)
Season 1, Episode 12
10/10
The final
26 December 2022
This is the end of this series. And what a journey it has been. Originally I thought nothing much of this series, I thought it would be another surprisingly good but not extraordinarily series like Paripi Koumei was in its season. But to see this series slowly grow to amass the community it has now by proving it's worth in every episode is truly fantastic to see. It would seem easy to hate this series. Why are a bunch of girls living amazing life's and forming a band and why should we care? But that is a thing I haven't asked myself one time while watching this series. You are diving into this world in which a band hopes to suceed and you will be rooting for it's success all the way. From there humble beginnings you hope that the talent that this band has will one day be appreciated and that the band members achieve there dreams one day. And it's sure that along the way you will have lots of laughs, fun and enjoyment. One thing which this series had to bring with it was good music and that it has. The songs the band sings are very good so you are never surprised when people actually like the songs when they are performed. (I've seen series in which the music wasn't good but people loved it anyway). And we of course have our characters, each with the most relatable character traits known to mankind. In these regards bocchi is the most relatable character which makes it easier for her to claim her role as main character. This final episode was everything I hoped for. I knew they wouldn't try and end the series or anything, they are obviously hoping for a second season just like I am. And I'm sure we'll get a second season soon. What a fantastic anime, it never felt bad for a moment, there was really only good episodes and we had some really creative effects (like claymation or life action) that sort of reminded me of the creativity of series like gintama. There has been some great progress made in one season of this show and I'm excited for more of it. We need more of this series! No complaints.

Bocchi the Rock!: Bocchi the Rock (2022)
Season 1, Episode 8
10/10
It keeps getting better
27 November 2022
With every episode released in this series being incredibly good, both in animation, story and dialogue it's rare to say this but the episodes keep getting better, every episode topping the next. Boochi the rock is a surprising anime this season and people are only now slowly realizing it's potential and what it's already reached. This episode especially is the accumulation of pressure finally converting into success in the form of story development and consequential character growth. I specifically want to point out Bocchi, the main character and her ability to be the most relatable character in all of anime. Go watch this series and this episode, what are you waiting for?

Bocchi the Rock!: Jumping Girl(s) (2022)
Season 1, Episode 4

The best episode yet.
30 October 2022
This is episode 4 of bocchi the rock and this is the best episode of the series I've yet seen. The entire style and direction the series takes is creative and fun. I love the animation here it's a lot better then a lot of mainstream anime animation or at least its used way more creatively. We also see great strides in character development throughout this episode which brings us closer to the characters. It's a great comedy and just a great story in general that excites one to watch the series every week to see how the story will develop. We can see some great development for Hitori aswell as further detail about Ryou being revealed. I can't wait for next week's episode!

Season 1, Episode 13

A welcome return in part 2!
2 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Spy X Family returns for part 2 in style. We are introduced to a new character: The family go out looking for a pet dog, because Anya got a stellar. What Yor and Anya don't know is that Loid is actually looking for a dog that can protect the family for operation: strix. However while looking at the first pet shop, which only offers war dogs (which are big and not very cute) and was set up purposefully by Loid Forgers Agency, Loid is interrupted for some urgent news: There is a plot to assassinate foreign Minister Brantz by a group of isolationists who are studying at the berlint university. They have captured one of the terrorists: Chris. Loids mission is to disguise himself as the terrorist groups leader: Keith. Disguised as Keith he puts all the blame on Chris, to make him snitch on his fellow isolationists. Meanwhile, Anya and Yor have gone to a pet shelter to find a dog to adopt. Anya however, gets distracted by a dog walking past the shelter. We've seen this dog previously save a boy since it seemingly has the ability to predict future events before they happen. Anya tries to read the thoughts of "Mister Dog" and his thoughts are about Anya's family. Anya then follows the dog. She walks into a building and finds the dog (and some other dogs). Behind a door there is a conversation going on and she listens in: the dogs are bomb dogs which are to be used for the plot to assassinate foreign Minister Brantz. The terrorist say they want to do this to "restore ostania to it's former glory" and "bring down those arrogent pigs of the west". Minister Brantz's death shall be the catalyst to war, according to them. Anya is discovered listening in and the terrorist contemplate on what to do with her. The smart dog comes and tries to rescue her, but suddenly gives. Meanwhile, Yor is looking for Anya and can't find her, but suspects she's been kindnapped (or eaten by a dog). It is now revealed how university students were able to train dogs to carry out a terrorist attack. These dogs were part of Project Apple: the former government of ostalis tried to create animals with high IQ for military purpose. After this project was abandoned because the government fell apart, the terrorist university students managed to get there hands on some of the test subjects. Anya manages to escape in the meantime because a phone ringing manages to distract the criminals. In an epic escape scene Anya mounted on "Mister Dog" tries to flee from the terrorist group. As all hope seems to be lost and Anya seems to be caught again, Yor shows up to save the day. The takes out the terrorists who she think are pervert kidnappers who want to marry Anya. Spy X Family returns with awesome visuals, a great story and a fantastic family of powerful characters. Can't wait for episode 2!

An honest review
6 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This show is not terrible, let's start out with the positive aspects about the show: -I loved the animation, it's some of the best animation I've seen in a TV-Show ever, however with the price this series cost to produce, this was expected.

-I liked some of the characters: Sadoc Burrows, Durin IV, Galadriel, Arondir -The Soundtrack is nice, although overused And I thought some of what was happening was interesting and the acting wasn't bad, however there are no further positive aspects of the show to be named.

Let's talk about why I gave this show a 5/10 now and continue with some negative aspects about the show:
  • I'm not a fan of the show being all over the place, and with that I mean that there is many stories being told at the same and the viewer always gets to see mearly a fraction of that story unfold before we are sent to the next storyline. While this does keep the viewers attention towards the show it makes it hard to really connect or sympathize with any of the characters. As soon as you feel like the story is becoming interesting we are back to the map of middle earth and are brought to a different story. And I suppose this concept could work if the characters were connected in a goal or plan, but they aren't. And it just seems like we are getting glimpses of each story and this doesn't let us dive into any character much at all. Furthermore I need to address the fact that this adaptation is not entirely faithful to Tolkien's description of the world of "the lord of the rings" and "the hobbit". Let me name examples to justify my claims: Disa, who is Durin IVs wife does not have a beard. Disa for me would have been and otherwise fine character, if she'd be wearing a beard. The following passage in Durin's Folk, Appendix A is a mention regarding the nature of dwarf women:

"It was said by Gimli that there are few dwarf-women, probably no more than a third of the whole people. They seldom walk abroad except at great need, They are in voice and appearance, and in garb if they must go on a journey, so like to the dwarf-men that the eyes and ears of other peoples cannot tell them apart. This has given rise to the foolish opinion among Men that there are no dwarf-women, and that the Dwarves 'grow out of stone'." A society in which men and women are allowed to look similar without discrimination is something which I personally would wish for and I am very disappointed that this idea that dwarf men and dwarf are similar in appearance was not faithfully adopted. Another unfaithful adoption which I don't have as much of a problem with is that Galadriel was never a warrior, according to Tolkien she was "one of the mightiest and fairest of all the Elves left in Middle-earth in the Third Age", which I completely agree that she is. Tolkien also said that she was "One of the greatest of the Elves in Middle-earth, she surpassed nearly all others in beauty, knowledge, and power." While this may seem to contradict my theory of an unfaithful adoption, this is in no way true. The "power" which Tolkien speaks of is not that of wielding weapons but Galadriel had other power that was used with peaceful intentions. So, now that I have described the missinterpretations that where made "in the lord of the rings: the rings of power" I can name the main problem with this show...: It was just boring, I didn't care for any of the characters that much and I especially didn't care about the story after watching these first two episodes. There was all this jumping around and amazing music to keep me engaged, but personally I just wasn't interested. It was just forgettable, I couldn't remember any Character Names apart from Galadriel which is why I had to look them up for this review. So to come to my final conclusion: I may continue watching this series purely because of the debate around it but there is no other reason for me to watch this mid fantasy show. I'm very disappointed.

Spy x Family: Secure a Wife (2022)
Season 1, Episode 2
10/10
The first episode wasn't just a fluke...
16 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Warning: Spoilers ...and this is proof of it. What an incredible episode. In this episode Loid is on the lookout for a wife so that he is able to accomplish his mission while Yor is trying to find a boyfriend to accompany her at her work-friends party since she lied about having a boyfriend to her brother and she was supposed to bring her boyfriend to the party and she lied about having one to be socially accepted by her work-friends. Somehow the two who share the same goal of finding a partner end up meeting at a clothing store and Loid ends up agreeing to being her boyfriend since he was planning on finding a girlfriend (actually wife) anyway, for his mission. It is also mentioned that Yor has been brought up to be an assassin since a young age which could be the reason why she isn't so good at finding friends (in this case a boyfriend), but in general no one really likes her and her work "friends" make fun of her. Yor arrives at the party and the before mentioned aspects are brought to the light. Since Loid is still busy on a mission (were he has to steal jullery or something) she shows up to the party without the boyfriend she promised her "friends" that she'd bring, so people make fun of her once again. But Loid ends up showing up and accidentally saying that he is her husband which ends up being fine with Yor since she surprisingly ends up asking Loid to marry her after the party when they end up running away from people who are after Loid. In these action scenes the skills that both Loid and Yor posses are revealed as Yor is an assassin. And the episode ends in Loid using a piece of a grenade as the ring to marry Yor. It's definitely a fantastic second episode that proves that the first episode wasn't just a fluke. I feel a bond has been created between the characters as well as the viewers and the characters that is stronger then in most series. You just feel very connected with these characters although it's only been 2 episodes so far. I'm excited to see what the next episode brings and I'm sure it will be of a similar to quality to this and the first episode.

Thank you for reading my review.

Best episode so far...
15 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Warning: Spoilers This episode had a deeper meaning to it then the first 2 and there was some more backstory added to Kongming. First off, what's weird to point out is that episode 2 and this episode both had people performing at the same time and seeing each other as opponents while doing this. I'm not sure if this happens so often in real life or if this is just exaggerated to create a "villain" in each episode. Anyway, this episode was still very entertaining and the most knowledge-giving episode of these first 3. In the episode you learn that you can create something out of nothing, that you should enjoy your time, and also that you should treat your opponents with respect and be kind to them. The ending of this episode also clearly told us to keep watching as this team which purpose is unknown just showed up. I'm sure it's a bigger label that's looking to hire Eiko but I could be wrong. That's exactly why the show wants you to watch the next episode (episode 4) to find out what is going to happen in Eikos journey to fame next: what hurdles must be overcome, what bridges must be crossed and what Mountains must be climbed to achieve the ultimate goal of victory. This is a war and Kongming is the strategist while Eiko is his "army" (I could be interpreting this wrong). Anyway, thanks for reading my review, I'm excited to see what next week's episode brings.

Ya Boy Kongming!: Kongming Uses a Stratagem (2022)
Season 1, Episode 2

Fun second episode
15 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Warning spoilers: This episode was quite fun and is showing us the goal of the "good guys" and main characters Eiko and Kongming and the goal of the "bad guys" Mia and her manager. Eiko is trying to build her following (on Pinsta and in real life) and become a popular singer while Mia's goal is becoming more famous and interesting to observe is how she told her manager to keep an eye on Eikos Pinsta. In this episode we have seen one of the strategams of the general of the three kingdoms Kongming: Trapping people in a maze that they can't get out of. He used this Taktik in battle and is now using it in his new "battle" of securing Eiko fame. And it's very successful! Quite entertaining episode and I'm eager to see where the show is headed next!

Amazing first episode
15 April 2022
Without spoiling anything, this is not what I expected. I thought this would be a story that wouldn't interest me or just a low-end anime in general but it's not. This first episode has really got me hooked. While there is anime like SpyxSpy airying that have lots of hype surrounding them this anime should deserve this amount of hype too. Because it's taken an interesting concept and implemented it just as anyone would desire. Extraordinary first episode that's got me hooked and ready to watch episode 2 with lots of excitement... Watch now!

The best filler ever
26 March 2022
What a way to make a filler. This episode in my opinion is missrated since it made me love this series quite a lot more based on it's self-awarness, parody and references. The characters constantly talks about how they are in a series which is hilarious because it's something I've never seen a series do. The beginning of this episode was very shocking (no more spoilers then that). It's a beautiful filler that I recommend watching even though there is no new information, characters or arc. It's worth it, trust me.

A legendary episode
20 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
What a legendary episode. In the episode all important characters appear and name their way of how they want Gintama to continue in it's second year. It's a hilarious episode, there is so many references. And at the end Gintoki names his opinion on how the anime should continue and the new opening plays which is just such a smart way of introducing a new op. Funny episode! Gintama is life.

Very fun. Awesome animation.
18 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
To be honest I've never played the video game before, however this series is very fun so far. Each episode is pretty short but the episodes content and animation makes up for it. For example in this episode the devil sings a song and the cupheads run through the carnEVIL while the background has very awesome animation. I like the old style and there is subtle yet good jokes in the series. So far I've really enjoyed this series, this first episode really is setting the tone for it and I'm looking forward to the next episode.

5 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is honestly my favourite episode so far. I laughed out loud at some of the jokes... In this episode we are introduced to Sarutobi Ayame, an assassin. She pretends to be Gin's girlfriend so that she can stay at his place to hide from a rat crime boss. The way this new character was introduced is very fun, and the episode was overall very enjoyable. I'm hoping for more episodes that are this funny!

Fine Wine
31 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode aged like fine wine. It is incredible how we can predict something right before it happens. The episode feels like it's a prank made after the covid-19 outbreak already started, but it's not. The episode showed exactly what happened, it's predictions were barely wrong. For anyone interested in predictions of the future which came true or for anyone who wants to understand more about past pandemics as well as how infectious they were and how they were handled: watch this episode. It's very good, informative and straight to the point. If all videos explaining and analysing coronavirus were this well done and researched I'm sure there would be little to no Corona-Conspiracy Theoriests in this world.

Really good reintroduction for part 2
11 October 2021
This is a really good episode picking off we were left last time. The music is this show is enchanting, it takes you to a different world and all in all the atmosphere feels like a different world, which is somehow greatly conveyed making you think that 24 minutes are somehow 2 minutes as each episode goes by in a flash leaving you to wonder where time went. Beautiful start and I love how daring the anime is too much the genre and television to it's limits of what is alright to show and what isn't. As I already said, it feels like a different world.

EPISODE 3 REVIEW
26 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The first two episodes were honestly not that exciting to me just because I don't see how there can be 108 more episodes about the same war. But, this episode is different. It doesn't play on the battlefield like the others, but instead plays on a planet, the name of which I have forgotten. Also, in this episode we follow a main protagonist, Yand Wen-Li and instead of playing on the either side of the war , our story only plays in the republic. Well, if you could even call it a republic. Because this is exactly what this episode is about, it is here to portray to us that not all democracies are perfectly democratic. This so called " free" country has a secret military that's seemingly very similar or reminds me of the red army of the Soviet union. So it is not free, as it removes the opposition, -in this case a lady who's husband was a general and died in the war. This episode gives a great message: to stand up against flawed democracies even if you get punished severaly. I'm still not sure how this is one of the greatest animes according to reviews but I'm eager to find out! I hope this will be good!

Neutral portrayal of news and straight to the point
21 September 2021
I used to think this news channel was like every other when I was younger but when I got older I saw other news channels like the ones in the USA which are just seeing things from one side the entire time. This channel most of the time doesn't chose sides at least when it doesn't need to: it just reports the news straight to the point and doesn't delay things with unnecessary drama or music. It shows real pictures and brings 1-2 interviews from the area where the news happened per "Tageschau" which is 15 minutes from 20:00 to 20:15. And at the end there is even the weather. Only weird thing is that they say the lottery numbers like it just doesn't fit in. But oh well, it's still a great news channel, especially compared to most others.
