The Dream Makers (1975 TV Movie)

You left out Katie Sagal from the credits

Not listed in the credits, or anywhere else for that matter, is that this is one of Katie Sagal's first movies. She plays the unemployment manager.

I remember this movie when it first previewed. I saw it on TV when I was a kid and never forgot it. I thought James Franciscus was believable (back then), but I'm sure it appears like some pretty cheesy acting these days.

This movie is simply about a man's spiral down the ladder of corporate success. It's sad, and I wasn't expecting this kind of plot, that's why I never forgot it.

Like Easy Rider, I was shocked at the end. If you like this type of 70's made-for-TV movie, you won't forget it either.

The New Bill Cosby Show (1972–1973)

This TV show was GREAT!!!

Okay, I am really reaching on this one, cause I was just a little tot the last time I saw this weekly variety show. If I remember correctly, there were some VERY funny weekly skits that were performed by Bill Cosby and others.

My favorite Cosby skit was a non-talking skit where Cosby was dressed in an overcoat and hat and played a real cool, non-talking dude who would come across unusual / funny things or people every week. Instead of saying something cool, he'd express himself by sticking both his hands up and wiggling them in a certain manner (ya had to see it). There was also cool music playing.

Another skit was done with Cosby (as himself) talking to a couple of prehistoric mythical puppets. The main puppet was called The Great Pavozz, and the background was volcanic. He'd always speak out of the side of his mouth and say things like "It's gonna cost ya".

Foster Brooks was also a weekly character who played the best drunk I've ever seen. You'd swear he was going to vomit at any moment.

Lola Falana was the show's main dancer. She was beautiful and amazing.

From Disney's Wonderful World Of Color (in the 1960's)

I remember seeing this two part(?) movie in the 1960's when I was a small child (I'm 46 now). It was on Disney's 7:00pm Sunday night show called The Wonderful World Of Color (a few years before they renamed it the Wonderful World Of Disney, I think).

It had something to do with a small Mexican boy and his chihuahua crossing a desert in great heat, and a woman or parents who were to adopt the boy, but for the life of me, I cannot remember the exact plot..

I do remember the Disney-sponsored McDonalds and Gulf gasoline commercials that were something to look forward to during the show, but that's all I have on this flick!

I gave it a 6 rating because I remember I liked it. Sorry, I wish I had more to share on this movie.
