Numb3rs (2005)
Reboot this show!
Numb3rs lives up to its introductory line- we all use maths everyday. From a subject of aversion to true delight on its applicability, i enjoyed this show and the idiosyncrasies of each character. Love Larry and Charlie's scene. A wholesome series with crime solving thrill with love, family friends and surely drama encapsulated in 45 mins
A sad part that this show was launched where crime fighting was more attuned with behavioural & forensic. With AI, ML and all the algorithms i am sure this series would hv had more fan following now. Combinatorics as a concept in 2005 was fascinating and now its already wide spread.
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Most exciting sequel ever.. Ace
Brilliant comeback and long awaited and did not disappoint at all. It was exciting from the get go. First 20 mins you know you are hooked and on the edge. The next 130 mins are absolutely well done, fast paced, sprinkle of romance, past baggages become present savages. It is delightful,
If you love combat based sequences, this is a real fun sequel.
N I love that they still reinforce the importance, passion and character in Top Gun grads. Pilots are still elite even with drones and unmanned AI tech. Something really to think about. The manoeuvres and skill levels r crazy. Happy no one died in the movie that would hv been a buzzkill.
Will Trent (2023)
Great series.. good characters. Season 2 got great start
A good series on detective work, struggles, foster life, crime, and pet parenting. A wholesome crime focussed series. Though it may appear a bit predictable but you get the best of Will Trent- a dyslexic, detective, Sherlock Holmes like observation, dealing with other prejudice that comes with his persona. Plus the backstory of the struggles and trauma in foster care with personal issues. I find this series a good watch, and waiting for the growth arc of all characters, even the work life balance bit.
This is a must watch and if you love monk, mentalist, Sherlock and other behavioural crime geniuses; go watch this series.
