Schaffrillas Productions (2015)
Armond White of Youtube
There are some videos he makes where he hits right, but other than that I find a lot of his opinions are so unpopular you are better off using this man in a similar fashion to how the legendary Dunkey states Armond White is useful - to quote him, "When Armond White tells you that Man of Steel is the Godfather of superhero films and calls it his movie of the year, then you as a viewer understand, 'Ok. So this is the worst movie yet created'"
When a game or movie transcends Schaff and his take on it is similar to that of many others, that's how you know said game or movie is really good.
But on the flipside, when a movie is so bad that even he doesn't like it, that's how you know it's terrible.
This isn't just me having unpopular opinions. You can find many other takes online and millions of people seem to share a similar opinion that a lot of his takes have been pretty bad.
I won't sign a review score to him because this review is kind of weird, but take my word for this. If he makes a list of what the best movies that came out in a year was, flip the positions of almost every movie and you'll find something more accurate.
Lego Minecraft: Creepers (2016)
The most underrated animation on YouTube.
When you look at the title, and its description, it would be really easy to skip over this one. However, the saying "don't judge a book by its cover" very much applies here. This is one of the most underrated tragedies to exist.
The small yet charming cast of characters are beautifully crafted, the emotional moments work quite well, and the soundtrack is easily one of the best I've heard for a fanmade YouTube animation. (I'd really love to hear an extended version of "Make it Right")
The voice actors are top-notch, despite having moments where they are more on the passable side, but these moments are easily forgivable because of how charming the story is. It overall has a message I believe everyone can benefit from.
For an animation made purely for passion, it is such a shame it doesn't get much more love. Animations that are lesser in quality have way more views than this. I suppose it may have just come out at the wrong time. Minecraft was not as popular as in 2016 as it is now and back when it was released.
Overall, this is a solid 10/10. If you're looking for a short, enjoyable film, coming in at 30 minutes, I'd highly recommend this. Even if you don't have any attachments to LEGO or Minecraft, I'd strongly suggest taking a look.
