Forty-Seven Days with Jesus (2024)
Nice Family Movie
I really enjoyed this film. I was a bit surprised about the musical part with the Jesus part of the film. For the most part I did like that, except the part on the cross. The story with the family I loved! Yoshi, who I loved as Phillip in The Chosen, was very good as Joseph as he struggled between between spending time with his family and working during family time, and Catherine ( who I really like as Mary sister if Lazarus in The Chosen) did good playing his wife trying to be patient, yet frustrated he is spending too much time with work then spending the time with his family, especially his dying father. The rest of the cast were good as well. I loved the kids. Overall, It was a nice family movie as the children learned about The Last 47 Days of Jesus, Joseph that sometimes the hardest choices are the best choices.
My Grown-Up Christmas List (2022)
A Wonderful Christmas movie
I loved everything about this movie! In fact it is not ranked as one of my favorite Christmas movies. It is also one of the best to come out of Hallmark in awhile. It reminded me of the old Hallmark Hall of Fame movies.
Kayla Wallace really hit the mark as Taylor. And Kevin McGarry was wonderful as Luke. I loved their story told over five different years and how it grew from meeting to their wedding. The movie was based on the Amy Grant song of the same name and it truly did it justice.
When Calls the Heart: Journey into the Light (2022)
I did enjoy this episode
I really did luke this episode. It reminded me of the old When Calls the Heart. This season has been so/so but I really enjoyed this episode. I hope there are more episodes like this one this season.
The Wedding Veil (2022)
Beautiful Romance
I so enjoyed this movie. Kevin and Lacy were perfect in their rolls. The storyline around the veil was so nice, too. I have no idea why the one bad review, other than not liking an actor or something, but the other reviews were spot on. Nothing beats a sweet romance, especially when the two lead roles have the sweet chemistry to go with it.
