Seinfeld: The Pledge Drive (1994)
Another classic
I think this another of the great Seinfeld episodes with great interconnected story lines. The whole thread about eating a Snickers bar with a knife and fork -- starting with Mr. Pitt, moving on to George, then various Yankees, and finally everybody everywhere -- is hilarious. Jerry cashing his grandmother's checks, which bounce and cause her to get up before the crack of dawn to go to the bank, is also funny. It also contains one of my favorite lines ever, which is when Elaine thinks her friend's "high talker" boyfriend is calling Jerry's house and she says "Jerry doesn't want to talk to you, nobody wants to talk to you. . . so why don't you just DROP DEAD!" but it's really Jerry's grandmother.
Seinfeld: The Cigar Store Indian (1993)
Great interweaving of story lines
The best episodes of this program are the ones where they have several different story lines that are interconnected. This is one of the best in that regard: The travels of the cigar store Indian itself, the travels of Frank Costanza's TV guide, Jerry's attempts to go out with Elaine's Native American friend, George's seduction of the woman from the furniture store (kasha?), Kramer's coffee table book, and the Queensboro Plaza gyros. Several of the minor characters, most notably the TV Guide fanatic -- one of the best guest characters ever, are very funny. I think I've seen every episode of Seinfeld, most many times, and this one is near the very top of the list.
