The Bear (2022– )
8/10
Good start
22 December 2022
Overall this show was an 8.6/10.

This was a great first season. The Bear had a lot of fantastic episodes with episodes 7 and 8 being notable standouts. The characters were great for the most part. The three best characters were Carmy played brilliantly by Jeremy Allen White, Richie played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Sydney played by Ayo Edebiri. These three characters elevated the show and made it enjoyable. Some of the episodes were kind of meh and some of the drama felt somewhat forced. Apart from that, It was a good season of television. B Tier.

My favorite episode this season was 1x7 titled "Review".

Good Western Based Show
29 November 2022
Overall this show was an 8.1/10.

This was a good season with some amazing moments and also some not-so-good ones. The overall premise for the show was pretty interesting. A migration story taking place in the Wild West in the aftermath of the American civil war. The storyline itself was engaging and most of the characters were great.

Some stand-out characters include Shea Brennan played brilliantly by Sam Elliot and James Dutton played by Tim McGraw. The one character that I couldn't stand was Elsa. Her narration was unnecessary and her character was just outright annoying. The show was also badly paced. Apart from that this was a good show.

Favorite episode 1x7 titled "Lightning Yellow Hair".

Mediocre at best
26 November 2022
Overall this show was a 5.0/10 with the only decent episode being 1x8 titled "Ribbit and Rip it"

This show was terrible with some bright spots here and there. Jennifer Walters as a character was just not it. Her character was not compelling at all and the only depth she gets is dealing with "toxic" men in her dating life. The weekly cameos were just a byproduct of what the MCU has turned into. A once thriving story driven cinematic universe, has turned into a boring, repetitive, dull cameo driven pile of garbage. Overall She Hulk is the worst of the MCU Disney plus shows with it having some of the worst episodes to ever grace Disney plus.

Andor (2022– )

Peak Star Wars
23 November 2022
9.1/10.

This season had a really slow start with episodes 1 and 2 being dull and lackluster. However, after episode 3 the show just took off and never came back. Andor was providing peak Star Wars with every episode. The characters, soundtracks, acting, set designs, and cinematography was some of the best since Rogue One. A SHOW ABOUT ANDOR managed to be far superior to both the Kenobi series and The Book of Boba Fett. The show didn't rely on fan service but rather had its own characters and story. Overall a fantastic addition to the Star Wars universe.

My favorite arc is probably the Prison arc but the Aldhani arc is a close second.

My favorite episode is 1x10 titled ""One Way Out" with episode 1x6 titled "The Eye" being a close second.

Great Binge
21 November 2022
Overall this show was a 9.3/10.

I really enjoyed this show. I've always had an interest in historical dramas but never really watched any based in the Wild West. This series does a tremendous job of setting the stage with its world-building and outstanding cast. The soundtracks and cinematography were all stellar. Again, I might have enjoyed this show because of my personal bias towards these historical set dramas however, I'd still recommend it.

My only flaws with this show are the pacing and the choreography in some of the fight scenes. The pacing was to fast at times but was also really slow. Apart from that I had a blast

Solid Action Thriller
18 November 2022
Overall this show is a 9.2/10. With the best season being season 3.

This was a fantastic action thriller with amazing characters and an intriguing story. I went into this show not expecting much but came out completely mind-blown. The choreography for most fights were great. The antagonists in this show weren't out right "evil" and had layers to them. Overall I really enjoyed this series.

Season 1 overall 8.9/10. Overall a good first season. What got me interested in this show was Antony Starr who played Homelander in The Boys. He plays this complex well rounded character and his acting is so good. His portrayal of Hood is phenomenal. This season also introduced us to an amazing cast of side characters with Sugar, Job, and Proctor being the standouts. This season was great but wasn't quite a 9 for me. There were minor problems that hold this season back. Hood gets out of impossible situations a lot and has crazy plot armor at times. But even with its flaws, it's definitely worth the watch.

Season 2 overall 9.1/10. This was a great season of television.

Season 3 overall 9.5/10. Definitely the best season of this show and one of the best seasons of television I've seen in a while.

Season 4 overall 9.1/10. Although this season wasn't as good as seasons 2 and 3, this was still an amazing season of television. The serial killer mystery was decent but didn't personally Interest me as much as the other storylines.

Black Adam (2022)
8/10
Good Action Movie
10 November 2022
8.4/10.

This movie had a lot of great moments and a lot of cringe moments for lack of a better term. Dwayne Johnson As Black Adam was an absolute perfect casting with his performance being spectacular. The action and cinematography were amazing. The acting was alright as some characters nailed it and others didn't (THE BOY). Hawkman kinda stole the movie for me. His character arc from viewing the world as black and white or good and evil, to a more moderate viewpoint was interesting. His dynamic with Doctor Fate was the best part of the movie.

Now for the downsides the action scenes were pretty good but felt dragged out. The constant cuts to slo mo didn't help either. The acting especially for the kid and his mother was mediocre. Overall a B Tier movie.

Fantastic Show
24 October 2022
9.2/10.

This show started off really strong and ended strong. They managed to restore my faith in the Game of Thrones universe after the travesty that was season 8. This season introduced us to many well written complex characters and an intriguing story that thrusts us right into the midst of this power struggle for the iron throne. King Viserys is without any doubt the best character from this season. His character arc was excellent. From flamboyant king who's only desire is to host tournaments and enjoy the splendors of the world, to broken and weak but yet stronger then ever. Viserys's throne room walk is definitely the best scene in this entire show.

Overall this was a Fantastic season of television and is definitely in the top 5 greatest shows of 2022. My favorite episodes of this season are 1x7 "Driftmark", 1x8 "The Lord of the Tides" and 1x10 "The Black Queen".

Outstanding Series!!
8 October 2022
Overall this show is a solid 9.0/10 with the best season being season 4.

Season 1 Overall this season is a 8.6/10. Solid first season with an amazing setup and excellent payoff. The twists and turns this season were amazing. There were episodes that were meh here and there, but overall a great season.

Season 2 overall this season is a 8.5/10. The first half of this season was really really slow. The pacing was bad, a lot of the story especially with the side characters was boring, and even Elliot's story was starting to get stale. The season picks up a lot in the second half and really redeemed the first half. The payoff was worth it and the journey for each character was worth the slow burn. This season is not as good as season 1. Hopefully the show gets better from here and not worse.

Season 3 overall tie season is a 9.4/10. The best season of the show thus far. The acting, cinematography, soundtracks, and stakes felt much better than in the first two seasons. Elliot's character journey this season was phenomenal. From broken and hopeless, to fearless and valiant. Elliot wasn't the only character to grow tremendously as well. Angela a character I didn't care for became one of the best characters this season. Her arc was emotional.

My favorite episode this season was 3x8 titled "eps3.7_dont-delete-me.ko". Elliot went from almost killing himself, to becoming a beacon of hope for a young boy whose sister had just been framed and murdered. That scene when Elliot starts tearing up towards the end got me. Overall an amazing season of television.

Season 4 overall this season is a 9.5/10. This is definitely the best season of the show. Enjoyed it thoroughly from beginning to end. This was a near perfect season of television.

Mind blown
15 September 2022
9.6/10.

This movie was an amazing journey from beginning to end. We are introduced to Lance Corporal Blake and Lance Corporal Schofield. We follow as they go through hell and misery to deliver a message to a battalion on the other side of the front lines of the British and German battlefields of World War I. The Soundtracks, set pieces, and cinematography was some of the best I've seen in war movies. The entire movie is shot In a single like shot with cuts masked beautifully which is impossible to spot sometimes. The ending was a pure masterpiece with Schofield running across the battlefield to get to Colonel Mackenzie played by Benedict Cumberbatch to stop the advance on the enemy. The last scene between Blake's older brother and Schofield was heartbreaking. Overall an S-tier movie.

Decent movie
14 September 2022
7.4/10 A movie with Great characters and outstanding cinematography coupled with horrible pacing and mediocre storytelling.

This was a decent movie with an interesting premise but a mediocre execution.

The first half of this movie was a drag to get through.

We get introduced to our protagonist OJ who's father has just been killed by a mysterious object falling from the sky. We see as Ottis Seniors children try to take control over their fathers horse company whilst at the same time introducing us to key characters such as Jupe played by Steven Yeun.

The second half is where it really starts to pick up. The alien/monster that our cast of main characters are following starts to attack and the group decide they'll try and catch this creature on camera during its next attack. This was a pretty interesting premise but the execution just wasn't it. The cinematography and characters carry the movie whilst the plot is mediocre to decent. The pacing is bad but the ending is great. Overall didn't mind the movie but also didn't love it. High C tier movie.

Solid Third Episode
9 September 2022
8.4/10.

Overall solid third episode. With some breathtaking cinematography, beautiful soundtracks, and an interesting plot.

I really enjoyed this episode. It started off strong with Galadriel and Halbrand arriving at the Kingdom of Númenor. That arc was the best part of the episode for me. Halbrands attempt to fit in and make a new life for himself doesn't work out since the natives are not welcoming. Galadriel travels with Elendil and finds interesting information about the Southern Lands and Sauron.

Arondir and a group of men from his company get captured and are forced to work as slaves by what I assume are Orcs. Throughly enjoyed this arc as well.

The only part of the episode that somewhat dragged is the harefoot storyline with the mysterious man. It was the weakest part of the episode for me but wasn't enough for me to dislike it. I'll want to see what they do with these characters later on.

House of the Dragon: Second of His Name (2022)
Season 1, Episode 3
9/10
Great episode
5 September 2022
9/10

Solid third episode. Started kinda slow but ended really strong. King Viserys Targaryen is slowly becoming my favorite character in this show. His development in this episode was S tier. Rhaenyra's arc this episode was also beautiful. The imagery with Rhaenyra being the one to find the white stag was great. And to top it all off, we end off the episode with a great battle.

The War for the Stepstones is great. Daemon and the Velaryons are struggling to subdue Prince Dahar the Crabfeeder for over three years. But with one letter from his brother, Daemon commits war crimes to get victory over his enemy. Great episode overall. Definitely better than episode 2 but still isn't as great as episode 1.

Solid Start With Some Flaws
3 September 2022
Overall this episode was a 8.1/10. Solid first episode. As someone who's not utterly familiar with the lore, many of the complaints of the lore being changed didn't really bother me. This set up what would come pretty well. The world building was great and the cinematography outstanding. This wasn't as good as the first episode of House of the Dragon but it was still a great first episode.

Cinematography is out of this world. Every shot was beautiful and just marvelous. The detail of Middle Earth is interesting. I loved the way the producers incorporated the map of Velinor and Middle Earth into the show. For someone who is relatively new to the world of Lord of The Rings, this helped a lot.

Overall based on this first episode, I would recommend this show as a solid entry into the universe of Lord of the Rings.

Amazing show!!
1 September 2022
Overall this show is a 9.0/10 with it absolutely peaking in season 3.

Season 1: Overall this season was an 8.5/10 with a slow start but a fantastic ending. The comedy and acting in this season is next level. Overall great first season for the show.

Season 2: Overall this season is a 9.1/10. Wow! This was amazing absolute banger of a season. From the cinematography and the crazy action sequences, to the betrayals and genuine character moments. This season started to show us how Barry was slowly becoming unhinged. My only problem with the season was the pacing rapidly with the acting class stuff. Overall another amazing season of television.

Quick review of 2x5: One of the craziest episodes of television I have ever seen. By the end of it, I was left speechless.

Season 3: Overall this season is a 9.5/10. Easily the best season of Barry with it having the greatest season finale in all of 2022. I was absolutely shook when that finale finished. The last time I had a feeling like this is when I finished Breaking Bad. Again what holds this season back from absolute greatness is the Sally stuff. Overall an absolute banger of a season.

Favorite episodes of this series: 2x5 titled "Ronny/Lily" , 3x6 titled "710N", and 3x8 titled "Starting Now".

Wow!!! What an Amazing Start!!!!
22 August 2022
Overall this episode is a solid 9.5/10 rounded up to a 10.

Coming into this show I was skeptical of how it would turn out because of the last season of Game of Thrones however I was pleasantly surprised. The characters, cinematography, choreography, and story were all top the notch. Any scene Dameon Targaryen was in was outstanding. I'm excited to see where the show goes from here but this episode was a very promising start.

Great Movie With Some Flaws.
18 August 2022
Overall this movie is a 9.1/10.

This movie was amazing. From the characters, sets, cinematography, choreography, and soundtracks, everything just felt good. The acting was superb and the dialogue great. The only problem I had with the movie was the ending. All of that just for William the Chief Justice to have been the mastermind behind orchestrating the entire invasion of France? I would've loved it more for the King of France to have actually done all of that then for it to be orchestrated by one man. The battles were amazing. King Henry proved himself to be a great and wise ruler whilst also being a brave and valiant warrior on the battlefield. Overall great movie with an ok ending.

Overall this movie is a 9.6/10 rounded up to a 10.

This movie is among the best war movies I have ever watched. The fights, setting, characters, dialogue, and aesthetic all felt so real. I was glued to my chair the entire movie. The Commander of the team Jassem was amazing all the way through. His leadership abilities and love for his country is admirable.

Solid action thriller
14 August 2022
Overall this movie was a 8.3/10.

The Action and Cinematography in this movie is outstanding. The fight scenes and choreography was absolute genius. The characters were great and the soundtracks decent. The one thing that was lacking with this movie was the plot. It was a decent plot carried heavily by the action. Things just happened so there could be crazy action sequences. There were also some ridiculous scenes with Six getting a parachute mid air from a falling person, or when Six and Miranda attack the compound, the two guards who decide not to radio in and warn the rest that they are here.

Overall it was a solid watch. Throughly entertained all the way through. Don't expect an out of this world story though. More action driven then story.

Crown Jewel of Star Wars
10 August 2022
Overall this show is a 9.2/10 with the best season being season 5.

Star Wars The Clone Wars is the greatest Star Wars project to date. Everything about this show is outstanding. I rewatched this show almost 6 times with each rewatch feeling different.

Seasons 1-2 overall 9.2/10. The first two seasons are considered by most to be the weaker seasons of this show, and although I agree, we still got some of the best arcs from these first two seasons. Most notably The Second Battle of Geonosis, The introduction to Mandalore and death watch, and The Battle of Ryloth.

Seasons 3-4 overall 9.3/10. These two seasons are where the show really started getting insanely good. We got the Battle of Kamino, The Mortis arc which is the most unique arc in all of clone wars, The citadel arc, The Battle of Umbara, and Obiwan as a bounty Hunter. The Umbara arc is still my favorite arc in all of Clone Wars. The rivalry between Pong Krell and the clones of the 501st most notably Captain Rex was legendary.

Seasons 5-6 overall 9.3/10. These two seasons had some of the best arcs in the entire show. Darth Mauls take over of Mandalore, his fights with both Obiwan Kenobi and Darth Sidious, Ahsoka being framed and leaving the Jedi Order, Fives finding out about the inhibitor chips and Order 66, and Yodas journey within the force were all amazing.

Season 7 overall 8.7/10. This season had one good arc, one terrible arc, and one God tier arc. The Bad Batch arc was good. Nothing much happened apart from finding out the Echo was alive which most of us already knew because of the unfinished episodes. The Martez sister arc was absolute garbage. Didn't like it at all. Siege of Mandalore second best arc in the show. The cinematography, music, characters, and writing were all perfect. Darth Maul and Ahoksa were amazing.

Underrated Series
1 August 2022
Overall this show is a 9.0/10 with the best season being season 2.

Peaky Blinders is an amazing show with some of the best acting I've seen on screen. Cillian Murphy As Thomas Shelby, Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, and Helen McCrory as Polly Gray we're all amazing. Thomas Shelby starts off as a local gang leader and ends up being one of the most powerful gangsters in all of England. Tommy and his brothers are ruthless yet effective in how they deal with their opponents. Overall amazing show that I recommend everyone watch.

The Terminal List (2022– )

Solid Action Thriller
28 July 2022
Show rating 9.3/10

If your looking for a action driven story about a guy avenging the death of his family this is the show for you. This show is similar to the Punisher in many ways as it has a lot of the elements that made it great. The action scenes are insane and the acting is amazing. Chris Pratt kills at as James Reece and brings life to the character.

My only grips with the show are the ending with Ben and the really dark shade used. In many of the scenes especially the night ones, you can't see a single thing. As for the Ben stuff, it annoyed me how he was a part of the scheme all along even though he was there helping Reece every step of the way. It kinda took me out of the show but it wasn't something bad enough to ruin my experience.

Favorite episode: 1x4 titled Detachment.

Fantastic series
21 July 2022
Overall this show is a 9.1/10.

This is in my Top 5 greatest shows of all time. The only reason my rating is this low is because of season 6. Everything with Ragnar Lothbrok was S tier and Ragnar cemented himself as one of the greatest characters to ever grace our screens. The show didn't feel the same after his death and even though season 5 was great it wasn't at the level of the previous 4 seasons. Season 6 just felt different and not in a good way. First half was watchable up to Bjorns death which was legendary. But the second half was really bad. Had to push through them to get to the finale. Finale for the show was good but the build up was mediocre.

20 July 2022
Show rating: 9.1/10

This show is a well written character driven wrestling story that hooks you from the moment you start watching. The characters in this show are all amazing from Jack Spade played brilliantly by Stephen Amell to Crystal. Every character has an arc including all the side characters that makes this show even more compelling. The acting is Top notch and the wrestling element actually works. I recommend this show to anyone interested in the intricacies that happen behind the scenes with wrestling.

18 July 2022
Overall rating: 7.1/10 however without the Mandalorian episodes the show is a 6.4/10

This show was alright I guess. Nothing too special apart from the two episodes dedicated the legend himself Din Djarin. Boba Fett didn't really do much. He walked around, got disrespected by the people who he's supposedly "ruling over", and always gets beat in fights. The finale was also disappointing with all the all out CGI battle for Mos Espisa. Overall this show wasn't needed.
