Malignant (2021)
Very creative
I never give 10 stars but I think this movie is one of the best movies I've seen in awhile. The trailer doesn't prepare you, nothing could tbh, and I like that. It's very creative. The score is very good, and made me really get into the story. I didn't see the ending coming, and the story kept me on the edge of my seat. The effects didn't seem too overdone, and the kills especially toward the end were quite satisfying. I don't understand why people wouldn't like this movie... but to each there own.
Mercy Black (2019)
The ending sucks
I thought this was gonna go somewhere good, but it didn't. Wish they had taken a different route, or maybe added in something more to make this more watchable. Hated the ending, although the twist caught me by surprise.
There's Someone Inside Your House (2021)
Annoying main characters
I love a cheesy slasher but it just seemed this tried way too hard. All the characters in this felt way scripted and unrealistic, and lacked like-ability. This felt a little bit like scream and I know what you did last summer, Craven vibes but not good lol. The kills weren't very good either.
Terrifier (2016)
Terrifying
This is a very unique villain, who is genuinely scary. The movie is a tad cheesy, and the acting isn't the best, but it's great horror.
Into the Dark: The Body (2018)
Somebody hire a hitman for this movie
Yet another movie idolizing murderers, and an edgy love interest. If this was a realistic movie, the hitman would've killed the woman that was trying to be partners in crime the minute she laid eyes on him. Like he cares at all about her feminist ideology on Marie Antoinette, he literally explains ad nauseam about how there is no point on earth but to live and kill. I don't understand how he could be enamored, or even the least bit interested in what she has to say. There was potential... but they ruined it.
