A Woman called Golda
24 December 2005
If ever there was a prime example as to how a woman should conduct herself,in both private and political life;it is Golda. The integrity, selflessness, humanity and dignity is supreme. She was the finest modern example of Rightiousness I have seen in my (almost) 70 years of life.Golda and Miss Bergman herself were dying of cancer as the movie was being made, and I can only imagine the difficulties of the demands of just filming a movie while in "good health" can draw from an actor/actress;what a Woman they both were. Both will always be my "Heros" and the most shining example of what a woman can do to better Life itself for humanity.May G-D Bless both there souls and give them their JUST rewards.

Great Family movie
9 February 2003
With all the violence, sex, and foul language movies that are out these past few years,it was totally refreshing to see a movie that had none of that in its entirity.Maybe because I am of Greek descent,it makes me partial to loving this movie,as I do,but I know many who are not of the Greek persuasion that have enjoyed it as much as myself. It brought back many fond memories of my growing up in such a manner;as,getting permission from my parents to date, having my husband to be, ask for my hand in marriage from my Dad,covering all the furniture with plastic,(God forbid something should spill on it)the "loud"[normal tone for Greeks to speak]talking, the teasing brothers, the Greek artifacts on the lawn,in the house, and sometimes on the family cars!!The family helping eachother out, whether it be in their business,or daily life, when ever needed....the closeness of the family, and the joy celebrating holidays, birthdays, baptisms, etc. This is,to me,the way ALL families should be.These memories make me one of the richest individuals on this earth, and it didn't cost my family one thin dime for me to enherit it.Thanks for reminding me of my precious upbringing.
