Apart from slight pacing issues, a great series

Yes - I've heard a million different complaints about the pacing of this show. Yes, I can somewhat agree with those complaints. There are certain parts where I have to think a little harder to keep up, but there are other parts. Nonetheless, this is a great series and I would highly recommend giving it a watch.

The animation style is great, all characters are animated amazingly and they all have a unique style to them that you don't see in any other character. After watching the first 4 episodes as well, you can defiantly get a sense of an overarching plot being constructed which I like. I do think that 'some' negative reviews may come from the fact that the whole plot has not been revealed yet.

Personally, I think this is a great show. I think that where the show has its fall for pacing within individual shows, it makes up for it in perfect pacing of the plot and theme across multiple episodes. If (and I hope so) that this show gets revived for a 2nd season, that the development team and vivian takes into account the feedback. I believe that a lot of people making possible critical comments are not saying so because its a bad show, because it most certainly isn't. I believe its because they truly enjoy this show and that they are passionate about it, and want to see it to its full ability.

The Hype House (2022)

A bunch of 1.0 GPA Gen Z'ers trying to get even more attention

This entire show is just a blatant ploy to get more media attention. Similar to a burner phone, it is made for the sole purpose of being temporarily used for a purpose before being thrown away.

This show ticks all those boxes. It is a quick ploy probably persuaded by these delusional people in the "Hype House" to get media attention from 12 year old girls who watch tiktoks 24/7. There is literally no actual attempt to make this watchable. This is the lowest point in human history. I literally made an account to rate this 1 star.

I have never felt less sorry for a bunch of wasted organic cells clumped together. Tbh this is one of the best birth control PSA's ever, because trust me; if I was a 25 year old woman thinking of having a child, only to see a bunch of thirst-trappy teenagers act as if there are more problems in their life compared to the african kid with no water, I would rip out my ovaries on the spot.

Save yourself the time, the will to live, and the sanity by not watching this. This is netflix's darkest moment in history, and id be impressed if they could go any lower.
