The Obscured (2022)
10/10
The return of the psychological drama..
7 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I very much enjoyed this film. It was quite cerebral. I enjoyed the low budget production value because it added realism. You don't see psychological thrillers anymore and I thought this was pretty good. There were a couple of good scenes that gave me goosebumps. There was even some Hitchcock-ian references within the film and in the pacing. You couldn't figure out who was in love with who and what was going on until you get to the end, and even then you are left up in the air. Was all of it real or was it all a dream? Was some of it real, or was it all fantasy of a mentally impaired woman? There was nothing adolescent about this movie at all. I would imagine that this movie is an acquired taste. You really would have to "get it" to enjoy it. I recommend it highly. You definitely walk away thinking.

Major Crimes (2012–2018)
10/10
A Great but very different show..
12 September 2022
Although the closer was a great show and I myself, love Kyra Sedgwick as Brenda, I was skeptical regarding Major Crimes. I've always been a fan of Mary McDonnell and I loved her as Captain Raydor, the adversary to Brenda, but I was reluctant to watch Major Crimes when the closer ended, even though I lived the rest of the cast, especially Provinza. Now that I have watched the entire series, I must say that this is a fantastic and brilliantly written show. I feel that it's very different from The Closer. The Closer was definitely a drama, and we loved the characters, as much as we knew about them, but Major Crimes gets much more personal with every character, really rounding out the squad and creating a stronger bond and sense of family.

Regarding Rusty. I found myself agreeing with a lot of the reviews that I seen. I kept wishing that there would be a single episode that did not have Rusty in it at all. But I can say this... Being gay myself, I knew guys like Rusty (lots of problems) and they all acted just like him. They all were egocentric, and very dramatic. They very rarely had fun, smiled, or laughed.. When they loosened up and had fun, they punished themselves for it as well as everyone else. Mostly they ended up alone because they always pushed everyone who ever cared for them out of their life, much like the Rusty character.

Quincy M.E.: A Dead Man's Truth (1977)
Season 3, Episode 3
10/10
an excellent twist
1 March 2022
This is an episode that I actually remember from when I was a little kid. It has quite a twist ending. Quincy is one of the best shows ever produced. If you're reading any reviews that are negative, there's something wrong with the reviewer.
