Me Familia (2017)
'Get me William Shakespeare on the phone'
Me Familia is supposed to be modern, updated version of Shakespeare's The Twelfth Night. I enjoyed the film from start to finish, and I have seen enough indie films to expect certain traits (undependable camera work, strange editing, maybe some sound or camera problems, weak writing and poor casting, a drunk best boy, a missing grip, perhaps even the production's caterer wasn't up to the job) but I cannot see how this story is supposed to be an updated version of any of Shakespeare's stories. The Twelfth Night is supposed to be one of Shakespeare's greatest comedies! Huh!!?? But that being said, I enjoyed the film and tomorrow I will watch Me Familiar 2! Long live Will Shakespeare!
F*ck de liefde 2 (2022)
Time to install garbage disposal
I blame myself because I pushed "play" on the TV. The poor acting, obvious casting and empty, confused script leave little left to enjoy or latch on to. The home shopping networks are far more entertaining!
Furioza (2021)
Furious after watching 'Furioza' --- way too long!
Fighting gangs clash again and again. But being a gangster always ends the same. It takes 2 hours, 20 minutes to reach that conclusion! I fell asleep after the first five fights.
Company of Heroes (2013)
dieser film stinkt
Schnell! Schnell! This film doesn't even deserve to be called a film. What a waste of acting talent. The producers should be rounded up and put on a train to Stutguart!
Triple Frontier (2019)
Good idea, bad follow through
The people who came up with the movie's subject had a good idea. But what showed up on the screen was not it. Stiff acting. Not enough real action. Tooo many loose ends. And when it's all over, where does it leave you .... with more questions than answers. Save your time and tune in to TV reruns.
