Infinity Pool (2023)

I watched this ahem movie just having checked the rating. Silly me for not reading reviews... So as stated beautiful place, fictional island where you will hear mentioned is very poor and full of criminals that will take advantage of those staying at resort. Yet off they go with a couple they do not know and frankly the wife appears to not enjoy spending time with. While there James is how shall I say sexually gratified by Mia's character,.

As soon as those keys change hands the audience knows what is about to happen.

Yet we really had no idea..so charged with murder in this poor run down island where the bell boy turns into tourist guy turns into waiter. The only choice is to have hour mouth stretched to maximum capacity. James gets into a chamber with red goop, strobe lights and a disco ball and BAM a cl9ne to be executed. How wonderful this movie would and could have been..for example was he really the real james? Mia is incredible as always but to me she's selling herself short always being a sex vixen, murderer type casting I worry for Mia. Both main characters must have been paid nicely for this absolutely acid trip of a movie. And then there's the end how could Cronenburg allow this to end like this ...6.99 x tax ...what a waste ..but I can and have warned others already.

After reading the c4azy split reviews, i thought to myself Su day afternoon relaxing let's give this a chance.

I am so happy I did..yes off the wall , moved so quick at beginnng I had a minute to sort out the 2 main characters. The backstory might have been better off explained at the begining rather then bits and piec3s and flash backs. None the less I figured it out.

That being said, I enjoyed this movie. Lead actors did amazing with the script. The story kept me guessing where it was going..I liked the premise of mind control and we all have to admit who knows what is really going on with technology and perhaps how little we know...Still was an fun B grade thriller, these movi3s should not be so critized the were not going for an Oscar..l8ghten up critics you are maybe cheating people.e out of some good times..

Oh how I was looking forward to a laugh and a horror..everyone hyped this movie up more buzz then YELLOWSTONE.

So I even went alone never do this but I was totally stoked...I love Elizabeth Banks and I strongly support female directors and she is a great actress. Maybe she did direct this well. I am no pro on this.

The movie itself as most people are aware is based on a reL sad story from the 80's but let's have some fun mixing humor with horror. First off not a single laugh from full audience up in till ambulance crew scene..nothing just silence. Another clue was no gasps at the ahh "horror" scenes so poorly done it was like watching bottom of barrel on free streaming channels.

Save your time and money. Maybe these reviews here are from teens. Trust me my very first thought after speak8ng with a few movie goers was I have to let people on imbd know asap.

I enjoy movies where characters do not know each other..but this is more theatrical dance and sign language and dance.

Plays out more like a play, not a movie. Frustrating and boring as I write this review. I have to write over 400 characters more to even get this in reviews. I have not watched any of this witter/ director s films yet.

Was going to watch Meagan but the reviews were awful for that movie too. So I do not know what more I can say. Except if you are into arty movies that are confusing and seem to have no end game. No pun intended.

Apparently they are all bad people paying for sins..but let's see 35minutes left and not much going on here.

Deep Hatred (2022)

Ok nice setting, some sort of a movie about an old cult. The only part I understood was the very first 5 minutes. Pretty leading ladies, some talent but raw talent. The casting of the boyfriends I don't know who did this casting.

A story but not a story that was at all put together. It kind of had a bunch of stories that could have potentially be spun together and joined it up, but alas it failed to do so. In so many ways. Then add in two nutty neighbors, one Beth just off the charts. But I guess at least she played her role well or at least I hope so.

So a few startlingly moments but NOT jump scares. Over all just a waste of time and that's unfortunate because it really had potential in a few different stories. Please do not bother.

Orphan: First Kill (2022)

Oh how I anxiously awaited this film. I loved the first one. I had never been so wrong about a movie. It was superb and so different. I read the previews all sounded great. Put it on had buttered popcorn, and I thought buckle up let's see what could possibly compare. Answer nothing. A ridiculous prequel. Like so bad I kept hoping it is going to pull off some magic. Nope nothing. I was so disappointed. Sometimes I think film makers should leave a really great horror alone. Wanted so much to enjoy. Just pass. Julia styles did well but she always does.

I can not believe the garbage reviews, did no one see the first one?

Red 11 (2018)

Ok so you watch the trailer not read reviews first. That's my advice . This movie is fresh, fast paced, exciting and just a really enjoyable film. Great Effort from the cast..and kept me in suspense right up to end. Again low budget but hey they did well!

It's the typical friend's at a cabin type sladher/ thriller..it occupied my time. It was not a disaster it is enjoyable as l9ng as you know what it is. I always give a movie 20 mins I either stay ot pick something else. I'm really starting to question the viewers ratings here no way it is a 4 for me.

So yes I read reviews before viewing. Gina is amazing actress she carried the movie. I enjoy all her work. The story you will have seen almost identical movies before they just all have a different ending.

This was a solid well acted by the two leads. I first thought oh no not another one of those films. Enjoyed it..it was intense believable and I was certainly surprised at the violence the lead actress was one tough bitch...I did not think it was avgreat ending however, and the scene at lake wtf? Was he just taking a smoke break? That was silly,znd he didn't smoke! However I gave it 7 for just being enjoyable!

This documentary was good..just the thing I enjoy..I was really into it when I cleverly started picking up on this is not really real Beth..hmm I am still shocked it is fake but I still wonder if it is real considering there were no credits for actors! Is it really based on fiction or reality? Regardless I did enjoy it...

Make no mistake title is completely misleading. It's horror porn, but there's very little of a story, if any? No hunt just torture and gross scenes. Miserable.

Who would have thought a movie called Tow, would turn out to be a pretty good movie. Frantic at times..story line nothing really new...And the Actor is from Jason movies the killer...for a tubi original it's worth a watch.

I wanted to watch this because a friend suggested it knowing my love of horror. Ok ..just no. It was nice to see Chole 8n her early acting days, that's about it though. Story ok , but Jerry and lead actress gave such poor performances, it made me sick. Like is this a zombie movie? A vampire movie? A love story? A ghost story? Left me sorry I wasted my time. Trust the reviews, or at least mine.

Oh my, this actress is new to me , but she carried the movie like a champion. I am not from the USA but I do know how divided things are there. This brings a message to people or rather a warning.

The hunt was great fast paced, a bit confusing and 2 women who see the world in very different ways. So good.

I had to double check I had not missed first 20 minutes, so stupid really people, it's sitting at #1 right now because I'm sure people think its going to be good, I hope they got out quick and didn't watch the rest of this stupid story. Pass.

Vengeance movie. Not for the horror fan who is not used to revenge plots. Good performances by all cast. Low budget but did they make it work. Specifically the fx my God.. it was so realistic. I have little girls, and this was right up my alley if one was to go missing. Best performance no doubt the brother. Highly recommend.

I came across this just browsing and clicked it on. I was amazed by the intensity this film caused me. And it's true as any true crime fan knows. I felt the fear, the resentment, the warped family, the wounded. The stars were incredible. Very scary movie, bloody too. They threw me a curve at the end which personally I did not think necessary but I guess it puts it all together for the audience.

We are not rating Oscar material just slasher/horror films..I liked this movie started off romantically I almost turned off. At which time the fun.. confusion begins. I thought as I watched this loop movie that I had it all figured out, for sure I knew what was going on. But I had no idea until the end. I would watch it again anytime..I would watch it again anytime,I would watch it again anytime 😊 lol.

I don't know how I missed this..I know I had not seen it, yet it seemed familiar? Any how, SCARY VERY SCARY...twists and turns that blew my mind. I admire the writer for having such warped thought, then put it on film. Do not go into this like I did thinking oh a ghost story. It is not its a psychological thriller and horror. Little on ghosts! Grab a seat, favorite snack and enjoy. Kept me up half the night!

Drew me in quickly, lots 9f blood and gore. Interesting story keeps on toes. Just the ending had me very confused. Well so did the beginning to be honest. Recommend watching for sure !!

I just watched project heat Halloween..Great short horror..it's not on the search list here, but it should be as an avid horror fan and reviewer, on horrors. I loved it. Short, Gory and sweet..watch and you will see what I am talking about.

Wow, I was really shocked at when this was made, well before the other scary box movies. I like that it deals with divorce and how it affects children, two loving parents , great performances, the young actress was outstanding. How far any parent would go to make their children happy. I would say family friendly if you have a young teen...liked it.
