By 40 mins in its like someone hitting you over the head with a brick.

I often buy old laserdiscs in search of forgotten or hidden gems.. this is the absolute dead set opposite.. im gonna make it my personal mission from this day forward to find any copy's I have of this movie and smash it as a community service.

Its a shame as it had a decent cast but they were dreadful . Sheen is tolerable but omg ruck is an absent void of charisma. Just like he was on speed.. at least in speed he was given only 3 ines of dialogue. Just terrible filming terrible script. Just avoid it chuck it in the bin and be grateful that u avoided 90 mins of absolute rubbish.

Breaking In (2011–2012)

Omg, talk about a good show gone bad
25 February 2014
The first Season was really lots of fun, It was like a cross between Chuck and The Office.

Basically the story was like this.. Our main character is a talented hacker genius gets recruited by a security company led by OZ (Christian Slater - Too Hot To Handle/Broken Arrow)

The team consisted of a sexy lock picker, her boyfriend who would remind me of Charlie Day when he was dressed up as "The Greenman". (always Sunny In Philadelphia) crossed between Bill And Ted. "Excellent!!" Then we had a master of disguises and finally a mega geeky gadget man. (The token black actor)

The 1st season was quite enjoyable. I grew up and love all the 80's movie references and understood them and enjoyed them. The characters were a good spread and the stories about a company that had to find security holes in banks etc was very cool. Even the stories were quite enjoyable. Sadly only 7 episodes in, the plug was pulled and the show was over.

But hey it came back for a second season. I was excited to get my hands on it but I warn you now, if you have watched the 1st season and enjoyed it like I did, STAY AWAY FROM THE SECOND SEASON. It's a totally different show. God knows why but the creators of the show felt the need to bring in that annoying woman (Megan Mullally) who is Ron Swanson's wife Tammy 2. (Parks and Rec = A show you should be watching instead) Now, this woman was great in Will and Grace, (Stole the show in fact) and now days she is funny in small doses, like in Parks and Rec, but her in the second season of Breaking In is just like having your ears cleaned with a blow torch. It felt like Niki Lauda having his lungs scraped. Shes the worst possible version of her stereo type character she can be.

So annoying..

OK seriously. This show had really great potential and could of become a cult classic, but it obviously was taken over by studio executives, or perhaps someone just dead set against this show and wanted it to be remembered as another show that lost its way.

Sorry, 4 out of 10. And only that high because the first season was so good.

There are far worse Disney movies to watch.
9 October 2012
First off, the music in this movie is fantastic. Truly up to the highest standard of sound. If you have a big stereo to play this through the first time then by all means it makes the movie 100 times better.

OK past that we have 2 stories both based around the theme of perseverance. Covering the princesses Aurora (sleeping beauty) and Jasmine (aladdin) Where both the princess learn a lesson about not quitting although they both seem to already know that. Still its all details. Its a great little girls movie with flowers and animals and princess singing songs. With the odd joke here and there for the adults.

The real question is. Is it tolerable to mums and dads to sit through 50 times? Well in my opinion think there are far worse movies about. It's no Wall-E or Nemo. Or even Aladdin or Sleeping beauty. But its a perfectly tolerable film for adults and a real winner for little girls. (According to my daughter)

The Office: Training (2001)
Season 1, Episode 4

Best Episode Of The Show
11 July 2007
OK, English Office, as far as I've noticed its sort of put people off giving the U.S Office its proper chance. The U.S story as far as story is way more developed and Steve Carell, what a great great great cast.

But I sort of see the English Office like a full story all wrapped up and finished with a sweet storyline and a great lead in to the U.S Office if watched all the way through. This chapter has to be probley in my opinion the most full as in plot and character development, and the funniest.. gotta love Garrath's fantasy. I'd like to hear more from him too.

Best episode of the series and Ricky is brilliant. But lot's of Aussies just didn't get the English version cause they didn't get to see all the episodes and see the full story and perhaps missed an episode that gave a certain character major development. A few of my friends here from Melbourne reckon the series is just slow. But I consider myself quite a fan of this series for this is where it all begun for as far as seeing Ricky Gervais's work, and I've been a big fan ever since.

Go Get The Guitar....

Almost Heroes (1998)

Come ON, You have to be kidding.
27 May 2007
OK, I'm an avid DVD watcher like probably so many of you all out there, 3 nights ago I was watching Tommy Boy, a marvelous piece of comedy film, that's both full of laughs and full of heart. After watching it I jumped on IMDb to get some info and ideas for my next movie. Looking through Chris Farley movie's I came across Almost Heroes, have seen most of Farley's (all the pre Happy Gilmore films with Sandler and Spade) I thought why not, and directed by Chris Guest, I love his mockumentary's like Spinal Tap and Mighty Wind I really thought it would be a combo that couldn't let me down. Yet sitting through this film really surprised me how you can have so many greats working on such a dull film. Perry is just shocking, and I don't know about you but is permanently type cast in my eye as Chandler from friends. I don't like him, I wont ever like him. But yet he isn't something to fear away from the movie because of. No he's just the icing on the cake to a pretty shonky movie all round. The script was dull, the jokes were slow, there was no real solid comedy timing used. Most of all I'm just shocked and amazed that Guest would allow something just so flat get made. I mean Farley is his usual standard, hes as good as the actors around him. You cant help that. But Guest has written some real clever comedy over the years. Some that has made me laugh so hard that I've had to pull my self back onto the chair and go, "Hey, Wha Happened?" The jokes used in this film must of been his leftovers. Its the only logical reason. The last Farley film, probably the one he could of done without.
