Sophisticated theme not easy to comprehend

The story continues to gathering all of the Immortal 9s' nuclei. A unique android without Asimov 'code'(ethics of robots, the androids) conducts elimination of the Immortal 9s. A female bio-mechanical android is getting to seek the freedom of the androids.

This anime is hard to find the clues of the protagonist's action. A 'NEAN' of the teenager girl's mood is appealing but its surrounding situation is not much described, although it is anticipated in the context, a free will of the artificial intelligence resemble that of humans. They may coincide in the anime.

The motivation based on the freedom is a great subject however android's freedom is not so attractive. Maybe the behavior of the protagonist could be addressed earlier, and the audience would have the sympathy in the subject. The total runtime might be short to deliver it within 12 episodes. The animation is at a high quality. Music and sound effects are good enough. Hope this anime might overcome the shortage of runtime and show its aimed storyline.

Chainsaw Man (2022)

Poor storyline from the beginning

No intention, little meanings, nor assertion.

Terribly horrible grotesque thing, Trash animation but a praiseworthy drawing.

The fight against the devil or fiend is rather physical, material than phychic, immaterial. In other words, the fight between the good and the evil should entail magical battle as they are spiritual entities.

The primal fighting method is the physical one, as the main character is a chainsaw demon to praise the main character's ability. Sadly funny premise, and a non-sense.

Further a disguised 'cool' fashion of the dull main character's behavior recalls the stupid choice by the dull mass of the people.

Awkward high rates to this trash animation.

Lycoris Recoil (2022)

Either episode is on the level of a cinema movie.

A combination of a bullet-dodger and a sharpshooter plays the secret agency for public security. The senior partner is a genius able to suppress an automatic rifleman with a handgun on one-to-one and the junior partner is a markswoman able to hit a drone flying at a vehicle speed from the vehicle, which vehicle has jumped over the road. "Sugoi," "Subarashii," "Gaccoi," Aibo(partner)-dachi is the main 'heroines' (literally) of this remarkable anime. The emergence of this two heroines is a sudden birth of a great anime in this year.

The character of the senior partner is a peacemaker in one word. Peacemaking seems the main theme of this work and the senior partner leads the junior partner in that way though the character of the junior partner is straightforward in one word. The heroines are orphans, so the junior partner has personality in gloomy mood. However the senior awakens the inverse side of the junior's personality in episode 4, showing her the bright livings, as a mentor, naturally(this is the role of a mentor).

The drawing and animation are precise, and the combination of colors makes the scenes fine shots. Hardly any complain would exist. The plot is also excellent. Exquisitely composed storyline does not allow the audiences to do other things while watching this anime. Literally either episode is a cinema movie. Yet every episodes are not aired, this work is already a masterpiece.

Rent-a-Girlfriend (2020–2023)

Lovely anime

This work has a problematic premise in ethics from its title "girlfriend renting" and some of audiences are foe to this premise. Especially many of far-east asians take a strong attitude to this premise, and thus give review points critical. In spite of the criticism this work receives good review points due to three major features.

The character design is neat; the heroines are drawn in fresh and vivid style. All the heroines are cute and the main heroine has a gorgeous spirit that charms the main character (not a hero).

Secondly, the predominant feature is the expression of character(heroines and main character)s' feelings. The emotional expression of heroines and the main character is excellent; the instantaneous emotions of heroines are naturally expressed, and particularly that of the main heroine is expressed exceptionally. Audiences could find this instantaneous emotion at scenes when the main character lies to family, or friends, for instance. The character designer (animator) is a female in twenties and knows well girl's reactions to the situations and so she expresses girl's feelings exceptionally in the animation. A well-known animator appreciated her a genius. The main character sobs often, which is uncommon in reality, but that is to express the feelings of the main character in a disposition to sobbing, by an exaggerated mode.

The plot is another salient feature, against the premise criticized. The mood between the main heroine and the main character changes dramatically by plausible occasions, and by attitudes of them on the occasions. From just a client through facing significances in the occasions to the genuine boyfriend, exquisite stroryline attracts the audiences even with the criticism.

Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song (2021)

A masterpiece. Possibly a grand masterpiece.

Grand masterpiece refers to the master piece of Grand Masters of the animation, i.e. Hayao Miyazaki(Studio Ghibli), Osamu Tezuka(Astroboy Atom), .. which implies "this work is what the animation is." This work seems the succession to the grand master piece "Astroboy Atom" in this century; Battles between Artificial Lives between one against human race and one for human race. In the anime the person assigned the mission to alter the tragic history to Diva must be Dr. 'Osamu.'

{Spoiler Paragraph - Skip this if you mind} From the episode 1 through 3, this work shows just "interesting" AI which struggle to salvage human lives.. as the first self-recognizing AI. At a scene near the end of episode 4, the foreshadow of this work is addressed; "I think I'm jealous.."(Vivy) For AI, the mission completion with great success is analogous to the great success in one's life for a human. Estella and Elizabeth completed their mission accomplishing to save the lives of all the guests from the accident of hotel destruction.

Avoiding to mention much of the episodes, the harsh fate during one hundred years with the mission assigned to Vivy is alluded by Dr. Osamu at the scene near the beginning of episode 1. Diva was created as a singing machine, not a combat machine; "I'm very sorry from my heart.. you may curse me." The original mission assigned to Diva is addressed by the creator, the other Dr., in other episode. Audiences could comprehend why Vivy(Diva) would have behaved as such, that resembled humane behavior, in the episode.

Throughout one hundred years of Vivy's mission the creators of this work delivers hopeful storyline based on a probable future event. How AI would evolve in future could not be determined, but that event could be one case. The creators of this work have resolved the theme artistically, into 'logically' humanistic story. They recompense Vivy in the end of the anime to care about the audiences' breast.

{Spoiler Paragraph - Skip this if you mind} Most audiences could feel sorrow at the erasure of Vivy sacrificing itself to save human race.. in human viewpoint. In Vivy's viewpoint, the last sing of herself was at the main stage.. but without any listening person.. So her old friend Navi gave her an applause. She responds with the only basic functions left to her.. in the last words "Thank you for listening." She was a singer to the last.
