Seinfeld: The Pledge Drive (1994)
the 90's seem so 80's.
Is it me or does the mid 90's shown in the show really seem more 80's? I wonder if there will ever be a time in the future where episodes revolving around such outdated concepts such as checks and pledges to TV. Uncle Leo is a character best taken in, in small doses for each season because of how strange a character he is.
This is the same time Pulp Fiction came out, making this episode seem outdated even to it's time of release, but maybe that's just me. I wonder if we will ever get to the spot where we start eating chocolate bars and cookies with knife's and forks like they do in the episode.
Futurama: Cold Warriors (2011)
My favourite Tv Episode ever
Apart from the virus stuff that fits in better these days than we would ever imagine 10 years ago, I'd say this is my favorite Tv episode ever.
It honest to God is some of the smartest writing I've ever
The way it is non linear. From Fry in the future brining back a dead disease and his 80's childhood where he wants to do something worthwhile but the nerd kid comes out on top and then to him and his father showing that stuff won't work out but maybe it's for the better and the tough love growing up...
I'm reading way too much into this.
It's a good episode which you should see if haven't already.
Seinfeld: The Puffy Shirt (1993)
He wasn't master of his domain
This was a silly episode, the outcome to these episodes are all just that they NEVER win. They never get their "way", they ALWAYS LOOSE IN THE END.
And maybe that's the point, I mean what would a show be if all of them were predictable and all had happy endings. Also the story on how Ray got his hand forever cramped made me chuckle.
Seinfeld: The Implant (1993)
I know a chick like that.
I know a chick who has boobs just like those, honestly and you know their real but they look so perfect they must be fake.
And this show perfectly highlights the problem.
The struggle is REAL!
Seinfeld: The Opera (1992)
Se7en vibes.
Am I the only one who got Se7en vibes from this? Honestly this was terrifying. Also George in the suit made him look like a penguin, where as Kramer looked scruffy in those clothes at a theatre of all places. Do people even still go to the theatre.
Seinfeld: The Wallet (1992)
Longest episode ever.
All of them feel like one big story being told through this whole multi episodic standard. But that watch tho, but the whole therapist thing bothered me because they all...eh, this was mediocre, I'm not even going to bother..
Seinfeld: The Trip: Part 2 (1992)
THE FUNNIEST EPISODE TO DATE!!!
Man, this stuff is funny, but I was right when I picked up on the show embracing it's "edgy" side.
"What happened?"
"Someone else died while I was in custody!"
"Really? All right!"
*proceeds to high five*
Seinfeld: The Suicide (1992)
I wish real life was this interesting.
Funny episode. The show is starting to ramp up with the dark humor. Also Newman is starting to become well...Newman. Good episode.
But the whole thing with Jerry and Gina felt like something from a soap opera.
Seinfeld: The Tape (1991)
I wonder if the baldness thing exists?
If it does we need to fund that, I know baldies who will pay top dollar for it. Also the episode was good, but something I realized that the Netflix masters look a bit off with what camera angle is used.
Smack Talk (2014)
Best show you're not watching.
You should be watching this. The Internet has never seen such a funny show in a long, long time. Needs more Autistic Andy though. And yes these take forever to get out but they are well worth the wait.
The Heartbreak Kid (2007)
Sophisticated Raunch Com
This movie made me laugh, this is a great vacation movie, super rewatchable. This has some sort of philosophy that I cannot make out, but it's there, and should be dissected further by somebody who has the time and energy.
But it's funny and it works for me.
The IT Crowd (2006)
Great show.
Man, this is a show I could watch over and over just for the hell of it, it's a great show more should watch, and you have no idea how much I wish I saw the original broadcast as a teen in the 2000's. It makes me nostalgic for a time I've never experienced, and not a lot of shows can do that. But why couldn't season 5 just be like 6 new episodes and not just one big hodge podge. Still good tho. Matt Berry has the voice of an Angel. Go see it, or don't, you do you.
Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017)
Cool movie.
Saw this on the tv the other day. Not bad. I liked it but was slower than the special olympics. Liked the violence, it felt real.
Imagine the guy from wedding crashers kicking ass for like an hour and watching him be a alpha for like an hour and 10 minutes, that's pretty much the movie summed up.
You should see it if you haven't already.
