ThanksKilling (2008)
Damn
When I was 14 I took the turkey down to the basement and penetrated that motherfocker to this movie before my parents cooked it, and I invited my friends to join me and that same day my house burned down. Last month I lost my virginitee while watching this movie, but my girlfriend got fed up with me screaming gobble gobble motherfocker every time I went to org@sm and so she broke up with me. I m@sterbated my sadness away to this movie and then almost died from m@sterbating and went to hospital and now I'm working on a spicy script for a new one and I just had an accident "axeident" and now I'm in a holding cell best movie ever.
The Conjuring (2013)
Fun
A scary and fun movie
Characters 6/10.
Mood 8/10
Setting 6/10
Acting 8/10
Special effects 9/10.
Story 7/10
Scary 8/10
Villain 6/10
The movie introduces us to the conjuring universe's warrens and pits them against a terrifying paranormal mystery. Ed and Lorraine Warren's roles are unforgettable, the family's roll is believable, just not very unique. The mood keeps a dark and sinister tone for the entire film, building as the film progresses.
Most of the movie takes place at the house, with the creepy and secluded feel building. The movie came out in 2013, so the special effects are really good. The story is based on true events, but is a little generic, but terrifying.
The movie pulls it's scares off terrifyingly well, I'd give you more information, but I don't want to spoil it. We never really know much about the villain other than it's history, but it nonetheless leaves a lasting mark
Terrifyingly fun film to frighten you. Watch it ASAP!
Marvel One-Shot: Item 47 (2012)
Sigh
More marvel die hard fans bait. It really wasn't that interesting. It feels like they could have done a plot so much more better if they had more time. At least it introduced us to that other S. H. I. E. L. D. Member for the next Captain America movie.
Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant (2011)
Has a reason for hulk on the team.
We get to see why hulk is on the team but really not much more really. Feels like it should have been after the credits of Thor. It was okay but nothing really much more. Just bait for die hard fans.
Marvel One-Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer (2011)
Unnecessary... but I'm glad I saw it.
This installment didn't seem too important, but I always enjoy seeing more of Agent Coulson. Nice bridge from Iron Man to Thor though.
It's optional to watch but if you love marvel or are a big fan it's well worth the few minutes it takes to watch.
Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter (2013)
Good... for marvel
There's not much to be done in only a fifteen minute movie, but they tried... and it worked. It was a nice thing to see what happened after the chaos of Captain America. Good female power too.
Iron Man Three (2013)
Good fun
The idea was a risk, but it paid off, and it was very enjoyable. The villain was entertaining and fun to watch. I enjoyed seeing how Tony evolved after the avengers and how his and Pepper's relationship advanced and the arc of this story. Very well played out.
Spell (2020)
Heart racing
One of the most suspenseful horror movies of 2022. I loved this movie for the acting, the story, the idea, and the execution of this movie. The acting was so convincing and real that I felt like I was right there with them. The story played out perfectly and the moving of the plot felt so natural. The idea was a little overused but they were able to spark new life into it with their execution. Misery (1990)
with magic.
Thor: The Dark World (2013)
Meh
Really wasn't that good. More explosions just like another marvel movie, but the plot and execution was very disappointing. It also felt very disconnected from the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Resident Evil (2002)
They tried
They tried for a new approach, and it was an intriguing concept but in the end it fell short. The zombies were very bland and forgettable and the characters didn't appeal to me. Good attempt but better luck next time.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Incredible
The terminator was one of the few action movies I liked. One of my favorite movies, definitely my favorite action movie. And then I watched this and I just could not get enough of it. I watched it multiple times and I never tired from it. The evolution of Sarah Connor, and the results of how that led John Connor to behave, down to the end where he himself changed was some of the best writing I've ever seen in a movie. And how they were able to turn him into a dislikable evil being in the first one, to where I cried when he died in the second one impressed me. The story telling of the fate thing really is deeper than most people see upon first viewing, but it definitely elevates the gravity of the situation. The story and action balance are unmatched and unmatchable. All of the acting by everyone in the movie was superb. Bravo.
Insidious (2010)
A good take on yet another demon plot
I was not very intrigued when I heard of the often overused plot but I came to watch it and I did like it very much. One of the few in this overused plot to do it right. And the jump scares were pulled just right. I did detect some traces of poltergeist and nightmare on Elm street in it. I did however predict the plot twist at the very end halfway through the movie, but other than that, I was not too disappointed.
The Avengers (2012)
More explosions... skip
It just seems to be another marvel movie. It was very lengthy with long drawn out sequences of action that you would expect from a marvel movie. Every year they come out with a new movie and they end up destroying all of New York.
Thor (2011)
It surprised me
It didn't have as much gods fighting gods epic clashing and killing as I suspected. It focused more on the characters, but once again, they are just rehashing what the comics have already done.
Iron Man 2 (2010)
Just switched my mind off. Explosions.
This one focuses more on how big can we make the finale, but to me it fell short on the characters and what I enjoyed In the first one.
I just switched my mind off as tony fought a bunch of drones and Russians. Good to shut your mind off to or use as background noise.
Iron Man (2008)
I enjoyed it as it was a little different.
We finally got a hero who wasn't a saint. In this sense he feels more like a real person. He screws up, but he's just a person. He's not captain America. This was one of the few marvel movies or superhero movies in general that I actually enjoyed.
Captain Marvel (2019)
I enjoyed it until...
I enjoyed the way the plot twisted and turned and the characters developed and at first it didn't seem like I was watching a marvel movie. Then at the hour and a half mark it was just a giant destruction explosion super powered chaos. Just how you would expect a marvel movie to end.
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
Enjoyable but exactly what you thought it would be
The whole plot was just taking the original comics and putting them on the screen, so we already knew the plot. For this it was okay at best. It seems to just be a money grab of another explosion marvel movie. However I did enjoy it for what it was. A remake made to pull people in. I have nothing against marvel though. I've read many of their old and new comics and I just prefer the comics.
South Park (1997)
God this makes me laugh
Don't have to much to say just that this is satire at it's finest. Hilarious. All of the characters have that one thing that people can't help but laugh about.
Zombieland (2009)
Had a great time tense with some humor mixed in
Great characters and an fun take on a so overused plot. I had a great time watching it and really liked the characters. I laughed and got tense during the finale. Very smart humor and filmmaking.
Maggie (2015)
God such a great but different zombie film
The whole approach is so much different from Prep films like world war Z. The best part is how the characters have such fleshed out personalities and the scenes really do get you
Good characters extremely interesting plot with a new approach special effects are good it stays pretty realistic and is an underrated gem in the legion of crappy zombie movies all I can say is it's a great film.
