An error has ocurred. Please try againThe list was in order (before imdb changed their system), starting with the movies that I have very high expectations, and movies that I want to watch first.
I'm always updating this list, when I watch a movie of this list, then I remove the movie from this list, and when I find a movie that I want to watch, so I add to the list
WARNING: This list is based on my personal taste, and it's more likely to have sci fi movies on the top, because those are my favorite kind of the movies, but I do evaluate everything in a movie: Acting, visual effects, script, editing, cinematography, entertainment, cast, direction, costumes, make up, lines, character development, soundtrack, originality, ending, nostalgia, fight choreography, message, plot, concept, plot holes, sound, if the movie is boring or not, if the movie gives me a good feeling ...

1899 (2022)
Great sci-fi show
If you liked The Matrix, Inception, Westworld, Dark, or any of these movies/shows. Then you should also give 1899 a chance.
This show is truly great for science fiction enthusiasts like me. In the beginning it seems like a period show, like Titanic, or maybe more like Ghost Ship, but with each episode you learn something new, that keeps you thinking what's going on there, which is exactly what I like, to use my head, to try to figure out things.
Either way, by the of the season you get most answers of your questions of this seasons, and you also get more mysteries for the next season.
I will say the first 2 episodes weren't the most exciting ones, but then it gets so good, that I just binged watched the rest of the season.
Mulan (2020)
Better than the original in my opinion
Wow! I just watched this movie, and truly enjoyed, it was amazing. I thought it had emotion, action, and a great message, so I was surprised when I came here and saw so many bad reviews.
Personally I'm not a fan of musicals, in my opinion it ruins the mood of the movie, so this one was perfect for me, and adding magic was even more enjoyable, so I guess my taste is different than the majority. Anyway, we all have different tastes, so don't get discouraged by reading these negative reviews, you know your taste better than anyone else.
I liked this one better than the original, since it's more my style of movies, especially since they added a great score, and no one singing around. Cast, cinematography, and story was great. They could have improved a lot of things, but I had a great time watching it. It kept me entertained, and gave me all the emotions I needed.
The Mist (2017)
Not bad!
I was reading some of the reviews here, and noticed that most of the people giving bad reviews have only watched 3 episodes, so I can assure that it gets better! Of course the show has many flaws, and doesn't compare to the movie, but it's not that bad, and it's actually quite entertaining.
If you are a fan of movie, and have high expectation! Then you will get disappointed, but if you have no expectations and like the concept, you might enjoy and have a good time! The main problem is that they don't have monsters that they had in the movie, but I'm hoping that there will be more monsters on season 2!
I watched the whole season 1 on Netflix in less than 4 days, so it made me wanting to watch more!
Iron Fist (2017)
Iron Fist is a great show!
I still don't get why the critics gave this show bad reviews. I'm enjoying this show just like the other Marvel Netflix series, and maybe even more than the others.
When I read all those reviews, I thought "Oh, OK! Well, they can have a step back sometimes after all those awesome shows", but then I started watching Iron Fist, and I didn't see absolutely nothing wrong with the show, and just kept me wondering why all the bad reviews?
Bad pacing? I don't think so, in my opinion you can say that about Jessica Jones or Luke Cage, but not Iron Fist, after the second episode you already want to watch more and more!
No diversity? Why would they complain about that? There was not so much diversity in Luke Cage, and I didn't see so many people complaining then, they had only one or two white characters, and I really liked the show, just like I like Iron Fist!
They wanted an Asian as a lead? What? Why would they want that when Iron Fist is white and blond in the comics! They should stick with the source material, and don't disappoint the fans, so I'm really happy with the cast, but Shang Chi would be a nice addition, though.
So don't listen to the critics! Iron Fist is a great show!
