Prey (2022)
Nice to see Predator come back to its glory
I'll break this down how I compare it to all the other Predator movies.
Predator - Loved it - a 80's action/scifi classic
Predator 2 - Fun and enjoyable - a nice continuation
Alien vs Predator - Ummm, okay. It's okay, I wish it was something better, but okay.
Aliens vs Predator 2 - No..No...No. Just stop, who ever is in control at the time of this movie needs to stop.
Predators - I thought this was a real fun and great addition to the franchise.
The Predator - hmmm, not horrible, but not good either. Wouldn't watch a 2nd time.
The Prey - Yeah, this is how it's done.
Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
A fine Addition to the SW Lore
Overall, I really enjoyed the series. I wish there was more, lol.
There were a couple of incidents that had me scratching my head, but they weren't enough to ruin the overall experience for me.
The final episode really did a great job of showing the hurt that Obiwan has been carrying with him all these years and the series in places did a great job showing how defeated his character had become. It was uncharacteristic and it was sad to see him like that, but absolutely believable, he lost everything and was running on empty.
Little Leia, now that was a treat. Alot of fun to see her childlike wonder and lack of fear for everything. A bada** in the making for sure.
Throw in some great visuals and picturesque scenes that makes SW such a visual feast for the eyes, sights and sounds, were fantastic.
The only part that I felt was a let down, was Reva. It was great to see her get built up and the events that transpired were interesting and I was wondering where were they going with this and it really didn't go anywhere. Lost potential I think.
That being said, again, didn't take away from the experience as a whole.
Seinfeld (1989)
After 20 years, this show still delivers.
Just recently found this show again on Netflix and threw on a episode here and there until the bug got me and finally had to sit down and watch from the start.
So far , I am currently watching the series twice now. This show really did lean hard into it's strength, which was, "this show is about nothing" and I love that.
I remember at the time, fans were upset about how the series ended, but after all this time. I'm perfectly happy with how this show ended. It ended just like how the show presented itself.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
Two Hulks are better than one!
Boiled down simply, I really enjoyed it. I loved the banter between Jennifer and Bruce in human and hulk forms.
I like that she's a firecracker compared to Bruce, she knows what she wants and nothing is going to stop her. I'm sure there is going to be a teachable moment later on as she feels she got this "hulk thing" figured out for the most part and I look forward to that journey with her.
I wasn't bothered by the CGI, at no point was there a CGI moment that took away from the believability of a scene. It certainly is no where near the buzz that I've been reading online. If I believed what I read, than apparently this is the worst thing ever to come across the TV screen and anyone who watches it has to burn their eyes out afterwards. Complete nonsense, it's perfectly fine and on par with most other shows that we see today.
It's a great addition to the Marvel family and again, I look forward to more and am interested to see how she evolves into the marvel universe.
