Ni wei xiao shi hen mei (2021)
Love this Series! Can easily Replay Constantly!
Lead, supporting actors, production and graphics team...VERY GOOD!!! I enjoy this series from beginning to end. There are no episodes or scenes that feel unnecessary. The natural chemistry with the cast throughout really feels like you were almost viewing reality TV BTS moments and not plain acting. You can see the tension and gradual growth of the romance budding with the two leads which is even more enjoyable because it does not feel scripted. The funny moments between lead and supporting actors seemed off script, but just right. Love the graphics and OST! Seriously, I hesitated for a while before adding for review. However, I am very glad that I did. It has been a while since I have seen a drama that I don't mind rewatching multiple times.
WELL DONE!

Started of strong. Lazy postproduction
The story with its twists seemed to keep its footing until Ep. 21-22. Then it started to feel like "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks". This could have easily been 28-30-episode series. The content would have been tighter, and the editing wouldn't have felt sloppy. By the time you get to the last episodes, you just want it to be over. The resolutions feel rushed where it's more of an OK at the end instead of HOORAY. I wanted to give it a solid 8 or 8.5 by how the first few episodes were going. But due to at least 7 episodes feeling like 'fluff', that could easily be removed with the same outcome, made the story drag and lose its charm. I have to stick with 7.

Wonderful Romance
Oh my! I cannot say enough of the way this story was weaved together. My goodness, I was not ready for the twists and turns. The cast overall A+. Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young truly showed their acting chops and deserve all the praise for the depth and compassion that was brought to the screen. The attention to detail within production and storyline is appreciated. When you watch a Kdrama like this, other series that come up short become easier to spot. I am truly a new fan of Park Seo-joon. The young actor, Moon Woo-jin...what a beautifully talented young man. BRAVO!!! Definitely one to watch as he continues to grow in his craft.

LOVE IT!!!
I cannot state how many times I have watched this. <3 Great acting with both the main and supporting actors. I love how there was a consistent flow within this series. The soundtrack is A+. New's voice in Spring Breeze is simply heaven. The chemistry between the leads seem natural and earnest and not forced. I appreciate that it was 12 episodes. I was just right. The ending was a little 'cheesy' because Ha'ri repeated, "Just take care of me twice" within the same scene. Which didn't seem to match her personality per say. However, that's just being picky. I truly loved this series. There were some real magical moments. When Hari comes clean and how Tea-moo's face softens in the midst is so sweet. The hotel scene #1 (very cute), hotel scene #2 (very sexy). The first 'real' kiss - (special). These actors Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Se-jeong, Kim Min-kyu, and Seol In-ah are definitely ones to watch.

Would have been better @ 13 episodes
The leads are beautiful. Chemistry is really nice for the first 4 episodes. However, I must agree with others about the female lead, her expressions remained the same. I found myself at times wondering... "Do you really have feelings for this man?" The blank stare without depth becomes worrisome. Also, the mother's and the non-relative fiancé' was over the top. No one needed to see them say the same things in 3 different ways in 3 different scenes to 'prove' a point. It started to feel like prolonged screen time. Also, the ending was a little open ended. His monologue expressed "If I see her, I am not letting go". Her monologue in a previous episode stated, "If we end up on this path again, it will be fate" But the writers ended the story with her thoughts saying, "Now, we are breaking up". This line had already been repeated twice within the series. There was no need for it to be repeated at the end like a book report when they were already fully broken up. Alternative ending: Once their eyes meet, she has a flash back of all of their 'coincidental connections' smile and say within herself, "This must be fate". And end with a hug and kiss. This 'football-stance stare down' between two people who are supposedly madly in love with each other at the end doesn't work. Overall, it was a B-. Mainly because of the 'extra' mother scenes that made it feel more scripted than real.
