Wisting (2019– )
10/10
Absolutely perfect!
13 February 2024
So I have known about Wisting for some years but there was no time and something always same up before it. But... OH MY GOD I should have watched it sooner! Trust me I am very strict when it comes to crime series and it rarely happens that I binge watch something. This series is the whole package. Story, acting, atmosphere, dialogues...

I do not wanna give any spoilers but I can only recommend this. I am not a fan of nordic noir, I have seen maybe 4-5 Swedish, Finnish creations, but this was suspenseful until the very end. Wisting, his daughter and all members of the cast did a bloody brilliant jobs!

Drag Me to Dinner (2023– )
3/10
Tragic
30 July 2023
Usually I love all things drag-related. But oh my God, this is painful to watch.

I read about it and saw the trailer. Bianca said it herself in the first episode: what could possibly go wrong? And then she rolled her eyes. So let's start with the host. I didn't know if it was a man, a woman with fake moustache or whatever but I have two words for this Murray Hill person: not funny! And so is the whole show. Cringe, bad jokes, you can hear the crickets in the background. I am a very open-minded person but some of the jokes went over the line and it looked almost vulgar and disgusting. So, spare your time and do not watch this BS/

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars: The Letter "L" (2023)
Season 8, Episode 10
6/10
No sense at all!
9 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
While I am a big fan of all things Drag Race related, I was quite dissatisfied with this particular episode. Usually they have three or even four queens going into the finale so why making only TOP 2 this time? I know, I know... Heidi decided to leave but still... this whole season is messy. Creating alliances? Why? Every competitor is there for themselves.

Also, Jessica Wild going home does not make any sense. The viewers love her, she brought life to this season. And while Kandy was really great with the maxi challenge, she did not deserve to be there alongside Jimbo. Oh and one last thing: nobody gives a cr*p about Fame Games!

The White Lotus (2021–2025)
2/10
Painful!
24 January 2023
After suffering over 6 hours of watching 6 endless episodes, just like Carrie Bradshaw, I couldn't help but wonder: did I watch something else than the other viewers?

The music: creepy, later just unnecessary.

The characters: white and privileged brainless people without any remarkable features. No one likeable.

The story (what story exactly?) happens and was shot in Hawaii but from what I saw it could have been shot at any random fancy resort.

It's marketed as a black comedy/drama. I have to ask: where is the humour? No laughter from me, not even a smile. 30 years ago, this slow pacing would have meant cancelling of the series after only one episode. But nowadays shows like this are popular, for whatever reason. Think Bly Manor.

I love Jennifer Coolidge but here she acts letargic and sleepy. Her comedic talent is not used at all. In general, the characters are flat, almost not human, like some bored slave holders.

Where is the satire? I am not a genius but if something is boring than I don't like it, simple as that. 2 stars.

Wednesday (2022– )

Loved every second of it!
1 December 2022
Oh my goodness! Hands down, the best series this year and the best Netflix production in years!

Where do I begin? With Jenna Ortega, of course. She first caught my eye in YOU. But you know how some actors are born for a certain role? Jenna was born to star as Wednesday Addams! Some people pointed out in their reviews that it is all about her - well, duh! Who else should it be about? I mean, do not get me wrong, the rest of the cast was pretty awesome, too! My favourites were Emma Myers as Enid and Percy as Xavier. And Christina Ricci as a guest star? Amazing! Also, Catherine Zeta-Jones was a good choice for Morticia.

To sum it up, where Sabrina failed, Wednesday most certainly delivered. 10 out of 10.

South Park: South ParQ Vaccination Special (2021)
Season 24, Episode 2
9/10
Why the bad reviews?
13 November 2022
I don't understand all the negativity here. This was the best SP episode in years! Just the right amount of (dark) humour and obscenities. I rated it 9/10 and that's because they had to sneak in Randy and his weed. OMG! The whole 22nd and the first half of season 23 were probably the worst ever. The show used to be mostly about Stan, Kyle, Eric and Kenny having fun, experiencing adventures and the political and all the other issues were always spoken of and made fun of. These mentioned episodes were like a bad dream and I hope now it's over. Now about the Vaccination Special... brilliant, great, funny, nothing to complain about.
